This is the best Bob Evans restaurant in Marion county. Anyone who has been in the US for any period of time is familiar with their menu, basic home style American food. They do tend to get busy during the traditional meal times, so I try to hit them up either just before or just after. Good food, great service. I drive past the one by I-75 and the one by 484 in order to eat at the Silver Springs restaurant. I absolutely LOVE bob Evans! Their breakfast was amazing and their dinner was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The lunch was average, I thought the chicken was a bit dry, but other than that I love it. Great home style cooking and a better alternative than any fast food joint. Went in there with my boyfriend and son, and sat there about 10-15 minutes with no service and nobody even cared to acknowledge us. People were sitting down after us and getting drunk and food orders in. We walked out, managers didn't even care to notice we were upset about no service. Oh well we'll take business elsewhere. read more

Worst Bob Evans I've ever been to, waitress was horrible, turkey sausage came out raw, they put cold berries on pancakes, workers were goofing off in back and manager had to yell (very loud) to be professional at work, I have been to many Bob Evans in Michigan and Ohio and never have had bad experience, I think workers or management needs to be looked at and retrained read more

I love the food here - it's delicious home cooking. I eat here once a week at least sometimes twice and the food is consistently delicious. That said what would have been five stars is only three because the service is TERRIBLE!!! My senior mother often picks up take-out here and she is consistently ignored and left standing there often for twenty minutes. She tries to get people's attention but it's like they don't even see her. I'm writing to their corporate office to complain about this location. read more

We just went to Bob Evans for breakfast. As we were waiting to be seated, a man walked in behind us. He walked up to the counter but no seats were available. He complained to a server but she explained it is first come first serve. He then tried to get a gentleman to move. When the man would not move, he went and sat at a table. The hostess hustled trying to get his table wiped off, a placemat and a menu. All this time, we are standing there dumbfounded. We waited until the hostess finally acknowledged us and asked if there were 2 in our party. We told her we were leaving and why. We walked out as she was standing there stuttering. Worst breakfast ever. Potatoes were burnt and cold, bacon not completely cooked, ordered rye toast given greasy dry white toast that did not come with the order until almost finished. Waitress did not seem to care to ask us how everything was and did not give us drink refill until our glasses were dry. NEVER will we go there again. read more

First, I have to say ... Coming from California the prices are awesome! $5 for mozzarella sticks, $7.99 for dinner - unheard of. Although other reviews note slow service, Megan M was attentive to me. Had a hankering for chicken and dumplings but the closest they had was mashed potatoes and biscuits with thickened chicken noodle soup on top. Not even close. Tastes more like an open faced pot pie. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Walked in around 7pm tonight, 3 waitstaff behind the counter & a manager present, with more staff serving tables. Relatively busy, waited 10+ minutes for a host to take our names to wait. No greeting, nothing. Manager walks over and without even a "hello", we received "name"? and that was it. As much as the food is somewhat consistent this isnt the first encounter we've had with rude staff members. Much rather give my business to small local restaurants. they are open for inside dining. we first went to Outback nearby. their new limited menu did not have what our party of 5 wanted so we jumped over to Bob Evans. we all had very good meals. glad we went there. entree salad, breakfast, turkey and fixings, chicken and noodles and the tasty banana bread. all good. will go back soon. read more

Next time you feel like eating at Denny's or IHOP, try the alternative: Bob Evans. I visit this location often and the food is always flawless. Half of the times, I have to take food with me because of the abundance. Among my favorite dishes are the boneless grilled chicken or the country fried steak. I don't have any complaints about the restaurant itself and the food was normal quality. But the waiter was uncomfortably intrusive. He forced our party to have a conversation with him and ask how his day was. He was so creepy it made me feel uncomfortable. We were unable to get refills either. When it was time for refills he could be heard singing in another area of the restaurant. I won't ever be back. read more

I only gave this 1 star because there was no option to give 0 stars. I visited this restaurant Saturday April 8, as I frequently eat here. We waited for a seat which was no problem. We were seated and went over the entire menu before we had to ask a waitress could she ask our server to come over. She went to the back and came back and whispered to a waiter which I later learned is named Kevin, that we were his table. He looked over at the table and said aloud...no that's Randy's table. She whispered to him again telling him that the seating chart had changed and we were his table. He then walked to the back, came back and went to the table next to ours and began taking their food order without acknowledging us. The lady at the table asked him why he was taking their order and not taking our drink order, he ignored her and asked, what she wanted. My mom was livid at this point so she got up and went to speak with the manager, Jessica. The manager sent a wonderful server over by the name of Tami who was very apologetic. We decided that we did not want to spend money there and on our way out, noticed the table that had been seated before us had also not been serviced. I approached the counter to express my concern. The manager flicked her wrist and sent the male assistant manager over and her words were.....you deal with her, without even a word to me. I told him exactly how I felt, got the number to corporate, called, expressed how I felt about my experience. I was promised a phone call from the general manager. It's Wednesday...no call. Seems like bad treatment at this Bob Evans is acceptable. I am so dissapointed! read more

Just had dinner there and my husband and I both had the $9.99, 3 course dinners. They were great. Nice variety of starters, entrees, and desserts. Plan to do this again soon. read more
