First time going to salted brick and it did not disappoint, it was on a golf course which was really pretty. And when we got our burgers they were outstanding. Also the service was really nice and loved the decor in there very pretty. Would recommend coming here.

We're from out of town, but this was a nice place to dinner even as guests to the Preserve. My mom and I both had the wild mushroom and goat cheese + fig flatbread and we ended up sharing them because both were so good!

We were so excited to get out to Salted Brick tonight. We made reservations and planned our evening around the din we location. It has a grand entrance and I was greeted and brought to my table as we had a three top and arrived separately. I am Very impressed with the restaurant, it has a raised ceiling with beautiful wood planks. The patio looks amazing and we specifically came to watch the sun set from our seats. We had a charcuterie plate which was Perfect for three. It seemed in fact to have three of eat item. Dad had a Burger which he destroyed, mom had Mahi Mahi and I didn't notice it for long so she seemed to enjoy it. I had the Bucatini pasta and it SAVORED it. The meatballs were great and the pieces of salami really packed a neat addition to the meal. Overall 5/5

Kid friendly restaurant! The kids menu is on the back of an etch a sketch. As a parent to 2 littles, this was a huge win to keep them entertained for a few minutes while we ordered. Huge win!!! The restaurant is located inside the Ocala Preserve and offers indoor/outdoor seating. It is a relaxed atmosphere with a gorgeous sunset view. Highly recommend the OP chips and Brick Burger.

Salmon DaBomb....okay I made up the name but it was delish!

From the friendly staff to the awesome food, the only thing that would have topped it off is bread to compliment the meal. From rack of ribs to salmon grilled it was tasty, cooked to perfection, and YUMMY. Took the folks to enjoy the environment of the 55+ environment. As I stated in a photo.....they were there to bring up the average age.

Very nice restaurant on all counts. Beautiful view of the golf course! Food was fantastic. Service was spot on. Everything was on point.

Salted Brick Burger w/Chips

Just dined (FIRST TIME) at Salted Brick... it MUST BE RESIDENTS that rate this restaurant so high. We were immediately greeted upon entering with a friendly smile by the hostess -- great start! Our waitress (who I'll not name) was MORE INTERESTED in "chatting" with other servers and the kitchen staff than waiting on us!! Extremely disappointing!! The restaurant wasn't busy -- no excuse for the poor/slow/inattentive service! Couldn't get refills... couldn't get another beer... Wanted to order a "Cuban" sandwich (it's on the menu) without mayo -- BUT the kitchen PRE-MAKES ALL THE CUBANS WITH MAYO! Really? You pre-make your $15+ sandwiches so people cannot change and/or remove a condiment? We ordered 2 salted brick burgers -- both came out hot and cooked perfect!! YAY! Also ordered the turkey club - again perfect! And the grilled chicken sandwich -- over sauced with bbq (just too much). MY TAKE on the Salted Brick -- it has potential... kitchen sent out great food (that we ordered). DON'T pre-make your Cuban - that's just shameful!! And your servers -- NEED RETRAINING!!

Butter Cake: too underdone for me

What a beautiful restaurant! This restaurant features many of the same dishes as other Trilogy properties I've noticed. Everything is thoughtfully prepared and the service is spot on. But mostly it is a beautiful space. My daughter's Margarita Pizza was good, but the dough was a bit underdone. Still, the sauce had a fresh tangy flavor, they used a good buffalo mozzarella and the fresh tomatoes and basil were delicious. My son had the Salted Brick Burger which was very beautiful. It tasted fine, but he said it was nothing special. The kitchen brought him a half basket of fries so his burger didn't get cold waiting on the rest of his fries, which I thought was very professional and a nice attention to detail. I ordered the seafood Orecchiette pasta which was really creamy and delicious. Like most pasta dishes, it was even better the second day! Plump shrimp and sweet crab punctuated the cupped pasta with the fresh veggies. I was very happy! We ordered 2 desserts for the table: the butter cake and the chocolate chip cookie skillet. The butter cake was delicious, but way too under baked. I didn't love the crispy top it had either. The Chocolate Cookie Skillet was yummy and the preferred of the two desserts. This is a nice restaurant with mostly solid food. The restaurant is loud and crowded, so if that's your scene go for it. There is a dress code here, but they were lax about it on our visit. Enjoy!

To celebrate my wife's mbmblmbf birthday, we decided to expand our horizons and try a place she recently heard about from a friend: The Salted Brick at Trilogy. Just a word about the location and setting: gorgeous. Attached to Trilogy Golf Clubhouse, the appointments and setting was just beautiful, especially on a mostly sunny day, right about 7:45 pm. The decor is primarily wood, steel and glass, so even though it wasn't packed, the noise level seemed a bit high. We ordered an appetizer of garlic knots and we had two stir-fry dinners, a club sandwich and the baked salmon. They warned us up front they were down a cook so everything was running just a touch slower. In fact, it took so long, they took the appetizer off the bill. I would like to say the food was worth the wait, but it was about what I would expect the food to be given the location. Anything less would have been disappointing. Both the manager and the server apologized again for the delay. While it took a little longer to eat (it's not like any of us are starving), it just drew out the enjoyable evening out with my three ladies.

I do apologize, looking up something her on Yelp I realized I never wrote a review at the time, and I feel bad, as when you get great "homemade" quality food that is prepared fresh and perfectly seasoned, the restaurant and its staff deserve recognition. It's been about 5 weeks since I was there - sorry! Met a couple other ladies for lunch there, for 2 of us, it was our first time. The lady who was a repeat customer raved about their cheddar broccoli soup and I had to have it. I got the bowl, because I was really hungry. It's a big bowl and the soup was soul satisfying. They had peanut butter pie on the menu and I was too full to eat it then, so took it home. I had a great piece of peanut butter pie when I was in my teens on a trip with my folks. I've been searching over 50 years for another that would be as good. I've had a lot of bad one, so-so and delicious, but not quite as good. Later with a cup of tea, I tasted the peanut butter pie from Depot on Magnolia and - home run, be still my heart it was absolutely delicious and what I've been looking for all these years. It's very rich and a generous slice that could easily be shared, but I wouldn't want to :). I was glad to enjoy mine over the course of 2 days, could have been 3 - but on day 2, I went back for the rest that evening. I don't have pictures of our food at the restaurant, but later, I took a picture of half of the slice I took home - my holy grail of peanut butter pie

Unfortunately for me I was looking for a brewery experience and Big Hammock is not that. They do have a good amount of local craft beers on tap which is a definite plus. They just didn't have any of their own beer. Maybe they are brewing, but if they are not, they should change the brewery in their name to brew pub because the name is definitely misleading. It is really awkward making this review, because I really did not get the full experience. I walked in, looked around, checked out the beer menu, asked if they had any of their own beers. When that answer was "no" I left. The end.

It was packed when we were there, but we were able to find 2 seats at the bar, which was perfect. We got to watch the short order magic happening in that tiny kitchen. Because we got to watch the food prep, we ended up ordering several dishes to split. I'd call it Asian fusion. We had a ramen bowl, some bao buns. It's a nice vibe. Murals on the wall, and doors that roll up for inside/outside service when the weather is nice. They do offer food takeout, so if you can't find a seat, have a beer while they put your food together to eat at home.

In addition to the Home and Garden show, there were horse jumping competitions and apparently some tour groups with their yellow lanyards hanging on their necks. Needless to say, we waited in line a while and had to hunt for tables and chairs. Fortunately, my wife and I "divided and conquered" as she secured a table (which we happily shared with another couple after my wife wiped it off with a wet wipe) and I stood in line to place our orders. I ordered the Southwest Burger ($17) and my wife ordered the Patty Melt ($14.75). Both came with fries. We just had water. The wait was longer than we thought (the place was truly packed). My burger had good flavor but thought the burger patty was a bit overdone for my tastes. My wife liked her patty melt and thought it was full of flavor as well but would've preferred the marble rye to be grilled instead of toasted. All in all, despite the crowd which we thought may have affected their execution a bit, we thought of our experience a positive one. We might consider trying out their breakfast when we decide to head back out to WEC for a Sunday service in their quaint chapel. NOTE: I neglected to take pictures since the long wait left us famished.

The Southwest Burger looked promising with its chipotle aioli and candied bacon, it was a gastro-enthusiast's masterpiece, but the service? Yikes. Many other interesting burgers, sandwiches, shakes, and cake concoctions were on the menu, but my decision was set in stone. The anticipation of that first bite of the burger was going to cure my animalistic hunger as we headed to the counter and met with the cashier, Denise. She literally sounded like a robot requesting the choice of hamburgers and toppings. Then rudely explained the credit card payment options. I thought to myself, am I on a hidden camera television show? Absolutely zero personality, which sadly just severely diminished my highly anticipated Ralph's Burgers experience. Wait there's more...Emotionally defeated, I made payment for the food and still left a $12.00 TIP for Denise to merely enter my order into the computer. We all self-serve at the fountain drink station and find comfortable refuge at a quaint table. About ten minutes later, Denise yells my name alerting me that our food order was ready and I instantly acknowledged. Oddly, she yells to me, "I Need Hands!!!", as she just stood motionless behind the counter holding two of our food trays. It felt like a walk of shame to take possession of our food. Took a few minutes to shake off our initial contact with Denise and finally dug into that beautiful long awaited burger. Holy smokes, the chipotle and candied bacon were integrated perfectly with the juicy cooked beef along with big golden onion rings as a perfect sidekick. The World Equestrian Center provides unparalleled service at their luxurious estate, which I have witnessed during my stay, thus, if aware, this type of unprofessionalism toward customers and guests would never be tolerated. This experience definitely makes for an interesting holiday memory! It's just a shame that something as simple as friendly service couldn't make it even more memorable.
