After enjoying many meals at Stone Creek, we took a large group of friends to Sunday brunch. It was the worst dining experienceever! The wait for food was ridiculous, and it came out cold. Our waitress would be suited to sling hash in a dump because she didn't have a clue how to serve in a nice restaurant. We had to ask repeatedly for simple things such as the correct number of settings. She left a dirty tray on our table for over 15 minutes. Bloody Marys were 2/3 full, with absolutely no garnish. Never again. We were beyond embarrassed and disappointed. read more

We live nearby and had been to their bar for drinks, but this was our first dinner here. Staff greeted and seated us quickly. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread, which was very good, and I had the Asian shrimp bowl. The shrimp and egg roll were cooked well, but the rest of the dish was a bit on the dry side. They supplied some "Asian Sauce" (soy) which helped. We'll come back for lunch sometime and I will update my review. read more

We live within walking distance of the Grille but rarely eat here anymore. Inside feels like an old-folks-home dining room. The noise levels are obnoxious, often from the bar area. The patio is more suited for golfers reviewing their scores and settling bets than dining. All that is not a management issue, they can't change the clientele, but it is what it is. The last time we ate there was "comfort food" night. I ordered fried chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes were full of garlic as were the veggies. The chicken was tolerable but not like my mother's. I paid $15 for what turned out to be two pieces of not so good chicken. The server never checked on us after dropping the food off. She was busy. I do enjoy sitting on the patio enjoying a beer after golf, but that's it. read more

As a Stone Creek resident, I really want to love the Grille. Sometimes it's great. Other times not. Very inconsistent. Today I ordered the California Chicken Wrap. I had it before and it was very good. Today it was very dry, little chicken. It was completely missing the guacamole and the chipoltle ranch. REALLY??? How is that even posdible? By the time the waitress came by again, the rest of my party was 2/3 done with their meal. I had used someone else's honey mustard on it so that at least it was somewhat edible. Consistent??? This place is definitely not. Hit or miss. Great atmosphere outdoors for eating, though. read more

I can't say anything good about this place. I want to love it because it is right down the street. However, 3 of us went and all three had a terrible meal. My daughter said the State university cafeteria tastes better. How can you mess up a pastrami sandwich? A salad? or a simple rice bowl? When Panera Bread is better, you know you are in trouble. Very nice view of the Golf course. I ordered Nachos with beef and guacamole. Husband ordered the salmon. My nachos were served with chicken no sour cream and no salsa. Husbands course was supposed to come with stir fried veggies and an egg roll. We were not offered rolls we were told since he had the stir fried veggies which consisted of a few onions and green and red peppers he did not get soup or salad. The rice was not fried rice just plain white rice. The egg roll was served burnt with no sauce. The salmon was tasty according to hubby. My nachos were ok definitely nothing special. Don't think we will be returning for dinner. We were never offered refills on beverages and not offered dessert. Server was nice and brought me the beef I had ordered with my Nachos. read more

I reserved for 7 today for Thanksgiving buffet at Stone Creek and it was a huge mistake. First, we were seated in a back room I didn't know existed, obviously used as an overflow area. It was packed, it was so loud you could not carry on a conversation. Our waitress was a pleasant gal but aside from that, this was awful! They charged $35.95, A person, the food was scattered up a hallway & in another small seating area, plates, etc were not readily available at different areas such as soup/salad, dessert. The line for food wound around tables in the one smaller seating are, I stood at least 10 minutes. Food, was mediocre at best, turkey, ham, mashed pot, stuffing, green bean casserole which was a pile of mush & carrots. They said there was a chicken dish & a shrimp dish offered but I saw only empty serving dishes. There was a butternut squash soup that was good but not hot, only salad was a pasta salad that had no flavor. We had not been to a buffet there since Covid & back then always enjoyed the food & dining room atmosphere, often there was music as well. This was so unlike anything we'd ever experienced there, I am totally stunned. I, and I am certain my guests, will not be returning again for a buffet. Awful, awful, awful! I did want to add that I have been to Stone Creek Grille for off the menu ordered lunches with gal pals & our service & food there has always been good. Buffets are notoriously known for luke-warm food. Four of us friends had the buffet after church on Sunday. Per the norm...most of the food was luke-warm except the pot of grits was temperature hot and tasty ( mine were especially good because I topped them off with 1/2 & 1/2) Also the personal, made-to-order, omelets were excellent. They were made with the ingredients of your choice at the moment so they were temperature hot and yummy. So so. Ordered salmon with curry sauce. Could not taste curry, only oil/butter. Veggies were mushy and mashed red potatoes had something sweet in them? I thought they were supposed to be garlic mashed. I look for whole food plant based options. Too much oil for me. read more

Stone Creek Grille has improved considerably over the last several months which has warranted this review. Chef Carlos was hired from Denver and has brought the quality of food up several levels. Denver is a very competitive restaurant market where only those with quality chefs survive. I'd try to catch one of the specialty nights, normally every Wednesday, to catch some great dishes. I do wish they'd add more of a Florida menu serving items like Grouper sandwiches, Ahi, local shrimp, shrimp tacos, and seasonal fish options. Menu has gotten better, but still needs more of a FL twist. Really recommend coming by and seeing the improved quality of food courtesy of Chef Carlos. read more

Hoo, hum, yawn, average. Went Friday night and it was crowded as they had had a private party in the back room that didn'become available until the rush was over. It was obvious they were short staffed but our server was pleasan't and knowlegable about the menu. I chose the fish fry, and we able to sub out the fries for a baked sweet potato. The portion was smaller than I thought, even after the waitress had said small! There was more batter thsn fish. The coleslaw tasteless. Service is extremely slow. Food is edible. Limited menu. Drinks by Jason are very good. Hostess manager is only friendly to those she knows. Very chatty with only a limited number of tables. All others she doesn't even look you're way. I've seen many excellent staff members come and go over the last several years due to her behavior. Scallops were decent and filling. Was not too much food but almost like it was not enough for the price. It's a beautiful place for a romantic evening out though. Service was decent however pretty slow as it became busy. Only one server at the time. The price is about the same when we go elsewhere like Olive Garden or Red Lobster but less food. Roast beef and chicken were bloody and under cook, omelets were mushy and tasteless but on father's day they had a special, their $11.00 buffet were $19.95 because it was fathers day, so instead of cutting the price they double it, some special, twice the price of every other day, they told me that they were telling people about the "special" but thats not true, I never heard them say it to anyone. so on top of bad lousy food, they are also crooks who take advantage of the elderly, and who knows what they put in their food!!!!! The service was great....I had the Tuscan Chicken, and side salad with mashed potatoes, they were out of baked potatoes on a Friday night. The place was not that busy. My plate cost $13.95 and the portions looked liked something out of a weight watchers meal. My husband had a steak fish with the last baked potato and a side salad. Again the portions were tiny and our bill was $27.00 and some change before the tip. I was just reminded why I do not eat there anymore. This was their last chance to impress and I will not eat dinner there again. I live in this community and I will not support this restaurant that actually thinks this is the right way to run a business. read more
