Beef tacos featuring Adena farms ground beef.

I found myself again downtown, but this time on a Tuesday evening. Recently the Black Sheep started offering $3.50 taco Tuesdays, (All day)which are made using Adena Farms ground beef. That is well seasoned. They are topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and of course sour cream on a warmed flour tortilla. KB (bartender) again guided me through the specials that also include Modelo drafts for $3, and $6 Milagros tequila Margaritas. With KB's recommendation I went with 3 taco's tonight that hit the spot. Yes the ground beef is amazing. Be sure to check out their Instagram, or Facebook page for daily specials.

We found a new favorite! Thank you Yelp and reviewers for the great suggestion! We were able to sit at the super comfortable bar seats for lunch. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Both meals were excellent. Fresh and delicious. We will be back!!

We arrived to the hotel in Ocala very late, and I had previously looked up a few places that were open late. As you can imagine, Ocala is a small town where everything is closed by 9 p.m. however, lucky enough, this bar was open. We were starving, so we drove there. To be honest, I was not expecting much, just to have something to ear at 10.30 p.m. It was to my great surprise that we had the best burger ever and the best seafood mac and cheese in town. The bartender was super friendly; there was only a group of people and one person at the var. Other than that, it was just us. The bartender got us our drinks and talked to the chef so we can have the meals. It was right out, and both plates had a nice twist in the ingredients. I have to point out that the staff was not wearing a mask, and there was no information related to the CDC guidelines or a requirement to use masks inside the bar.

The classic cheese burger was a winner. Glad you added it to the menu. Maybe add it to the slider menu too.

We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

Everything I've had at Elevation has been great and the prices fair, well as fair for what you get. Food tastes fresh. I'd rather go to a locally owned restaurant like Elevation that cooks your food there, than a chain restaurant where food is prepared in a factory and then reheated. Recently saw they were now serving Breaded Pork Loin sandwiches and had those when visiting friends in Indiana and loved it, so had to try it. Elevation did it great! Though I neglected to ask for more yellow mustard and pickles. I've had two of their mixed drinks and they're too good. One is all I can handle, but they taste so good, you want more.

One of the highlights is the excellent view of the runway, where you can watch small airplanes take off and land while enjoying your meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was good overall. We both ordered rice bowls with stir-fried vegetables and our choice of protein--one with chicken and the other with shrimp. The flavors were enjoyable; however, both bowls seemed noticeably watery. We're not sure if the extra liquid came from the vegetables or the rice preparation, but it was enough to be noticeable and took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Menu prices appear to range from around $10 into the $40s, offering options for a variety of budgets. One disappointment was that Elevation 89 is listed online, including on web searches and Yelp, as offering a Sunday Brunch. We specifically chose this location because we meet once a month to try a new brunch spot. Unfortunately, upon arrival we learned there is no Sunday Brunch currently being offered. We were disappointed by the inaccurate information and hope the online listings are updated so future guests can plan accordingly. Despite that issue, we enjoyed the clean environment, good service, and especially the unique runway views and watching the small aircraft come and go.

Chatter noise was low enough Iwe could reasonably talk together! She started with a french onion soup, steamy and thick, obviously homemade!! I had a lobster bisque with baquettes. We topped the night off with a delightful PRINCESS DIANA'S Taste of Ocala award winning Bruleed Bread Pudding w/ fresh berries & Amaretto , Almonds!! Btw, the Chicken fried steak is offered every Sunday. Our server, Joanne, was excellent and very knowledgeable!!
