It took us a few months to finally visit. We had a Miller's Ale House where we used to live, so it had been about 10 years since we'd been to one. There was about a 30-minute wait on a Friday night, but the food was worth it. My husband ordered the steak and shrimp, and I got the Zingers--both were great. They have excellent drink specials and all the classic bar food options like wings, fries, and chicken tenders--something to make everyone happy. The service was wonderful. Our server was training a new team member, and they both did a phenomenal job.

My wife and I tried out Miller's Ale House on Hwy 200 after her haircut and after this new location has been open for a while, hoping all the kinks from new opening would be worked out. This is my first time in a Miller's Ale House and my wife's second time. We came for a late lunch so the place wasn't too crowded. We perused the menu and my wife opted for the meat loaf and, after asking our server, I chose the pork osso buco. My wife, who ordered and liked their fish and chips from a previous visit, liked the meat loaf. The pork osso buco was well prepared, flavorful and fall off the bone tender. Serving portions were quite generous that we took home leftovers. We both liked our dishes and thought the menu felt like elevated bar food. Service was a bit uneven...had to flag down a server for drink refills. Ambience was fitting and we felt the value was there. We will be back.

Went here 2 times so far. Both times were about the same. Service was ok. Food was ok. Atmosphere was ok. Not sure what the hype is about but this place is busy. Even on weekdays. I will definitely be back. I'm really not sure why. Check it out and maybe you can reply to this and let me know.

This was our first time at this new Miller's location, and we were extremely pleased with the service and food taste. Very busy the night we went, but our wait for a table for 2 was only about 15 minutes. It's definitely a sports bar... lots of TVs scattered around the restaurant and a bit on the loud side. Service was quick and polite, and drinks and food came out quickly. Great location! We're looking forward to trying their lunch specials soon!

All I can say is Wow!!! Now I know when I go by this place I'd always packed!! The service was great and the inside is spacious and really nice. Plenty of TV's to see sports.. our waitress was Deja and she was very good and attentive as were the other servers. This is an A1 place and the food was very very good. I loved the onion soup.. we can't wait to go back soon.

This was a new restaurant in Ocala, so naturally it was busy. We waited a half hour for the table and then another 20 for a server. Portion size was unrealistically huge. Service was a bit slow, but hopefully it will pick up in the next few weeks. I would give it another try.

Went to Soft Opening tonight with a friend. It was really good. Cheese fries obviously didn't last long! It was a huge plate full. BBQ ribs sauce has a slight kick to it and the meat just fell off the bone! My friend said the coleslaw was really good. I ordered the Canjun Pasta with Chicken. It was a bit too spicy for me personally, but I'm a wimp. Other than that personal preference, it was really good. Chicken was flavorful and NOT dry! Staff was very nice! Service was really fast, especially since it was their first night open and was very busy. Most definitely will be back. And for the sports fan....plenty of TV to view the games.

We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

First off the restaurant has an amazing view being that it's a two story in the downtown Ocala area it definitely stands out. We sat on the first floor which was super casual and so nice with the breeze. Our waiter (don't remember her name) in addition to the waiter who took over, Pablo were very helpful. For starters, the cocktails. I ordered a spicy guava margarita which was super refreshing and delicious. It has a sweet but slight kick from the jalapeno and my rim was lined with Tajin. I really enjoyed this drink and would get again. For my late lunch, I went with the infamous District burger. This burger is huge! It comes with 2 quarter pound smashburgers, cheese, sweet heat pickles, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions. It was so good - I finally get to see what why it's a standout item. Every part of the burger compliments each other so well, from the juicy patties, the aioli, and sweet pickles. I ordered the chips as my side as I wanted to try them out and wow you can tell they are cooked in house. They're not greasy at all although I did have some burnt/darker chips in my batch. Overall, it was a great experience and service and I look forward to coming back to try out their brunch and other cocktails.

I was in Florida for a vacation to visit friends and family over the summer, and I found myself in…read moreOcala on a Monday evening in July. I was with my in-laws, and we were looking for a place to eat dinner in downtown while waiting for some other family to join us. It seems like on Mondays, there is not a ton open in the downtown Ocala area in terms of restaurants. This makes sense, but we chose to eat here primarily because it was open on a Monday, along with recommendations from those I was with. They had eaten here before, but it was my first time. The restaurant is located on a corner in downtown Ocala, near the square. Since it is in the city, there is no dedicated parking beyond what you find on the street. However, I have never had an issue finding parking in the general area when visiting this part of town, so unless it is a crowded evening or special event, you should have no issues. When we arrived, it was still early in the evening and we had no issue getting a table. As the night progressed, more people started coming in for their Bachelor viewing party. It seems like this draws a big crowd. They even announced that they were doing giveaways and other fun activities for the series season finale the following week. I imagine they hold other types of events as well, so that might be something to look out for if you are planning on stopping. We sat at a table near the front, and waited a couple minutes for the server to come by. She was, honestly, somewhat aggressive and not very kind. I tried to order a beer on the menu, and she went to make sure it wasn't out of stock. Then, I asked her about the Monday special on the menu, and she acted like she never even heard of it before. She stated that she didn't normally work on Mondays, but the manner in which this was communicated made it feel like it was my fault for inquiring about this. I ended up having a Garage Beer on tap, and it was serviceable. I also wanted to order the advertised $10 Grilled Cheese and Fries special, and got the D-Nice Way Grilled Cheese with this. I actually very much enjoyed the grilled cheese, but the fries were the star of the plate. They were crispy and crunchy, but not very thin. I had never had a fry quite like that! Would highly recommend giving them a try here at least once. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe after we ordered. It was not too quick, but did not take forever, either. Besides what I mentioned previously, I was satisfied with the other service received. I thought the prices here, in general, were fair and on par with other restaurants that are similar. They run different specials during different days of the week, as outlined on the menu. For example, Monday is supposed to be $10 Grilled Cheese and Fries. I ordered this, but I am not confident I got it for this price. Someone I was with paid the bill, but the waitress did not seem to be aware of what this special actually was. So, if you are wanting to order a special, I would explicitly say that when ordering to be sure you get it. Overall, I enjoyed the vibes and the food at this place. It seems like they have activities several nights a week to bring in different crowds, along with specials on food and drinks. The service left a lot to be desired, as our waitress was not very friendly nor knowledgeable on the specials. I would be willing to give this another try, but hopefully with a different waitress.
