Today Dec. 19, 2017 four of us ate at the BE on 5375 Dressler Rd NW, North Canton, Ohio. We waited about 20 minutes before we were seated. Our waitress came and took our drink orders. We shortly received water and coffee. The waitress next took our orders. We thought the time when we ordered and when we got our food was a little too long. When we did get the food, meal #1 had bad bacon, bad pancakes, good eggs, good coffee. Meals # 2 and 3 were not commented upon. Meal #4 had burnt, but eatable hash browns. There was nothing about the meals which were outstanding (e.g. exceptionally or just good). We will not be going back to this particular Bob Evans restaurant. read more

Bob Evans used to be one of my kids favorite restaurants. We would order take out a couple times a week. We always go to the one in Martins Ferry Ohio. The service has got worse over the last year and today was the final straw. First- my one child always ordered a hamburger with only ketchup, pickle and lettuce. Over the past year they refuse to not put onions on it. I tell them on the phone make sure no onion and it would have onion. This happened over a dozen times. We would have to throw it awaY cause onion ruins the taste. They have messed up other orders also but today takes the cake. We were running late to church and my daughter is diabetic. We thought surely they could not mess this up. I called and ordered a hot chocolate, 2 sides of toast with extra butter, and a caramel mocha. I go pay and leave and get what I thought was toast out because my daughter took her insulin when I was in there. They took 4 slices if bread and threw it in contaIner. Not toasted at all and no butter to boot. I go inside thinking you are kidding me. Workers look at me like they don't know how to fix this. I guy who was also getting takeout had his order wrong so he gave me his which was toast and sausage links Atleast she got a piece of toast. Then girls went to take a drink and both drinks were wrong. We have no clue what drinks even were. I have thrown away so much food from there this year. Today itself was over $10. You might be ok if you eat in but don't ever order take out from here. Can't even get toast right. read more

Well I can't speak for the one in North Canton, but the one on Tusc (Tuscarawas near Raff Rd) in Canton is AMAZING!!! We absolutely love the waiters and waitresses... it is soooo clean, so customer service oriented... they are the best Bob Evans we have EVER been too... and the food is ALWAYS perfect, always Hot, and just delicious... this group is seriously... the sweetest, friendliest bunch ever... we LOVE this Bob Evans and go there every Saturday...it just starts our day out right! read more

I went to Bob Evans tonight, I've always wanted to but I don't think I ever will again. I tried to order the bro aster chicken but I was told by the waitress that they were out. A few minutes later they brought piping hot bro aster chicken to the table next to mine. I felt as if I had been slighted and if they were willing to cook theirs they could have cooked mine as well. Bob Evans, Aurora IN 04/02/2019 $36.20. Post#1 cont. Story on additional posts I know it's been a couple weeks since this terrible incident but this is for a couple reasons, first I'm a Stroke patient and very ill most of the time and second because I was truly shocked that the so call "Director of Customer Service" actually thought that this is ok. This is long, i know, but i wanted to be sure you see just how bad this was. So story is I only get 1 meal every 2 weeks that is not predominantly mush or liquid as I have a condition called Gastroparesis (which basically means my stomach is paralysed) So if I eat anything that's not basically mush or liquefied it can get stuck in my stomach and turn into little rocks, called bezoar's which often need surgery to remove them, so as you can see my diet has to be very carefully monitored. The food I ordered came to $36.20, this was for my son, daughter and myself. My nurse went and picked it up and when she got back, brought all the food directly to me in my hospital bed to hand out the right food to each of us.. My son ordered their steak and eggs breakfast (btw don't order this unless you don't really want steak, and you do want a piece of chopped meat which is all mush and a terrible flavor, not an actual steak. ) I was going to just let this go as a lesson learned, and never order that again. My daughter ordered pancakes and loaded hash browns, and since I never know how my stomach is going to react to different food, I tend to get a variety of things in hopes of keeping down some portion of tasty food that I'm rarely allowed to get. So i ordered the Western Omlette with loaded hash browns as well as an order of biscuits and gravy, (still all food very soft as not to push my luck). Upon eating (about 1/3-1/2 of the omelette and loaded hash browns, which i had at my bed the whole time, but was only eating a couple bite here and there due to my gastroparesis, which is how you have to eat cause your stomach is always full) anyway I had went to take a bite of the omelette and dropped it on top of the hash browns, no big deal I just scooped some of both up put it in my mouth (I didn't have my dentures in as there's not really a point since the food I'm eating is all soft) after using my tongue and roof of my mouth to smash the bite up I used my tongue to push the food back and start swallowing, when just before I actually went to swallow something hard poked up into the roof of my mouth/throat. I quickly reached my hand in to pull it out as there definately shouldn't be anything hard in my food, after pulling it out and spitting out the rest I look at what I nearly choked on and it was one of those square bread clips, like the ones they use on English muffin packs rather than the twisty ones. At this point im throwing up, I have a big thing about biting into something and getting something hard thats not supposed to be there, heck I won't even eat meat on a bone, I know kinda silly but can't help it. But this, this was a whole nother story, I could have seriously gotten hurt, choked, got stuck in my throat or even in my stomach and could of had to have surgery to remove it. I am not well enough to be undergoing unnecessary surgeries all because they apparently don't pay attention to what gets put in or falls into the food they serve you. Now as much as it made me sick, I have enough issues that I really didn't want to make a big deal out of this. I decided that it would be best to notify the corporate office as it was bad enough it happened to me but it could have turned out much worse. I called them, spoke very reasonably, explained that I was fine physically, still feeling very nauseous if I think about it but fortunately no physical harm, but this was a big mistake and could of ended up very bad. I spoke to a very nice customer service rep who apologized and said he was forwarding this to the head of Customer Service and that they would call me within 72 hours. They sent me a mass generated card no personalization and a gift card to BOB EVANS? REALLY IDC IF ITS FOR $1000 I ALREADY SAID I WOULDNT LIKELY BE BACK THEN FIND OUT IT FOR $10 THAT DOESNT EVEN COVER THAT MEAL, HONESTLY I OFFERED TO HAVE THE FOOD BROUGHT TO THEM SO THEY COULD SEE, ALL I REALLY WANTED WAS MY MONEY BACK BUT NOW IM GONNA SHARE THIS EVERY WHERE. This is the shittiest Bob Evans restaurant I have ever been to. My friends and I came for a dinner last night and the service was really slow. Also, I overheard one of the host say how much she hated the job because of the manager, Cindy. Cindy was the manager who had checked us out, and she was extremley rude. This isn't the first time this woman has treated me poorly. She has the worst customer service and should not be a manager. She scanned my debit card without even asking and did not even say thank you or used any manners. This is the last time I am coming here. Bob Evans Mansfield here I come! read more

I ordered there new chicken sandwich tonight and it was raw! Will never eat there again. Manager did not apologize either. He waited until I went to the restroom to wash my mouth out and apologized to my guests. Poor service as well. read more

Great food and people!! Never dissatisfied when I come here with family and friends. They always make me feel at home.

Our family has dined at this location at least a dozen times in the last two years, different days, different hours and never had a bad meal. The food (or decor) is not flashy but well cooked, tasty, served hot and quickly and the staff has always been top notch. In all the years I have eaten at Bob Evans in several states I have only once had a less than satisfactory meal. I have bought and sold their stock several times because they are, except for their venture into Mexican food a couple years back, very successful. read more

The service here sucked. It took them more than 10 minutes to even get our drinks. People behind us complained about undercooked meat. My Sunshine Skillet was cold on the edges which ultimately ruined the whole thing. More people throughout the restaurant complained about not being served in a timely manner. I had to tell the waitress that we needed more to drink which seems like something that shouldn't be needed seeing as how we didn't get any refills at all. read more

We have eaten at Bob Evans in N. Canton twice since moving here a few months ago and both times, the service was terrible and the food was even worse. We ordered the "chicken fried steak" and it was so tough and the breading was so hard and over cooked that neither husband nor I could eat it. The portions were very small but we thought that was because it was the $9.99 menu that was smaller than the regular. The desserts were ok (very small protion of fruit we each got) and the vegetable soup, which we both ordered was almost all corn......not tasty as I remember it at all. The biscuits were superb, however and the coffee was good. I don't think we will be visiting any time soon, however. Can't see why the parking lot is always full..........can't be because of the food, IMHO read more

so the service was great! but i got the buckeye hot cakes and i didn't know you had to pay extra for bacon i've never had to with any other time i've gone and why didn't someone tell me it was extra i wouldn't have gotten it. it's fine but like i should have told me that it was gonna be extra! read more

Port Orange, FL on Dunlawton...We've been long time patrons of this establishment. We used to consider it our favorite breakfast place. Recently, you saw fit to "remodel." First, we don't like it....the booths got smaller and the lighting, well, it's horrible. The entry used to be inviting as well as the decor....almost like being "down on the farm," not now. And for some reason, the service has declined, slower service, and the wait staff just doesn't have any life....their get up and go, got up and went. Just a note from two unhappy campers. We now go to Waffle House....they have the best cheese and eggs, and never forgot who they are or where they came from..... read more

Waited for over an hour after being seated because, we were told, "the manager thought Memorial Day was yesterday". After that some food was cold, and the pancakes tasted under cooked. read more
