This is my second Samantha's restaurant that I have visited for breakfast. It appears that each restaurant has different menu items. This Samantha's was packed, but did not have to wait to be seated. I ordered the Favorite Combo--2 pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. The only thing that I enjoyed was the crispy bacon. The pancakes were thick and dry. Some may like this, but I prefer mine a little thinner and fluffier. The eggs were overcooked and rubbery. This will not deter me from returning, I will just know what not to order again. The vibe is very charming. The menus are HUGE. We came for brunch, so we had both the breakfast and lunch menus available. It was hard to choose! Their pancake and waffle options looked really good, but I almost always go with savory in the morning so I had the Samantha's scrambler and it was pretty good! I wasn't a fan of the cheese sauce on top (was kind of like a layer of American cheese), but everything else was delicious. I have been here a few times, and I feel this is one of the best locations. I like the expansive menu. Be prepared to wait on Sunday mornings, but it was worth it. Service was AMAZING. Everyone, including the guests were extremely friendly and polite. This is my first time and the menu is so loaded with good things to try. I was so overwhelmed that I just ordered the same thing my husband ordered. The Ultimate Scrambler had a little too much cheese for us but was pretty good. The, the MOST IMPORTANT is always the restrooms. If the restroom is nasty the kitchen probably is too. Their restaurant was clean. I will definitely visit more often. read more

Went to Samantha's today for breakfast. It was very busy but we were seated in a timely manner. The food was excellent. So fresh and delicious. Ashley was our server and she was great! The busboys helped out refilling drinks, kudos to them as well! We will definitely be back! read more

AMAZING FOOD!! Wonderful portion size. Great service! Not a single thing to complain about. We started with the mozzarella sticks to start.. great cheese pull and a well seasoned marinara sauce, comes with 6 pieces. Our entree's were the Roadhouse burger w/ onion rings, creole shrimp linguine and the fish basket. Everything came out hot and freshly made- huge portions. The creole shrimp definitely has a kick your butt spiciness but the flavor is scrumptious and several huge pieces of shrimp. The roadhouse burger was delicious- juicy, flavorful, huge and the bacon was cooked to perfection. Made my taste buds absolutely happy!! My husband's fish basket had 4 big fish pieces, crispy, great breading on it and he loved the homemade fries, so many hushpuppies and a big thing of coleslaw. You without a doubt get your money's worth. There is no way you aren't leaving here stuffed! When are only in town visiting but if we come back we will without a doubt eat here again... and again!! Once a Favorite, Now a Letdown This used to be one of my go-to spots--lively, dependable, and known for its solid menu. Yes, the service was always on the slower side, but with how busy the place got, that was easy to forgive when the food made up for it. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. On my most recent visit, I ordered a Reuben that could barely be called a sandwich. It had a single slice of meat, and the entire thing was served lukewarm at best. It felt hastily thrown together and lacked the flavor and quality that used to define the place. It's disappointing to see how far it's slipped. What was once worth the wait now just feels like a shadow of its former self. I really hope they take steps to get back on track, but for now, I won't be in a hurry to return. read more

I used to live eating here. I was here with my grandson today and it was not good. Im not sure I would go back again for breakfast. I had the Old-timer which is 2 eggs toast, hash browns and a pancake. My grandson had a kids corn dog meal. His was good. I ordered over medium, they were cooked over hard. So hard there was no yolk to dip. The toast was warm, but not toasted. The hash browns probably had been sitting for hours. You could tell they were old on site. The pancake was good. I ended up eating the pancake and part of the eggs. I ate one bite of the old hash browns and couldn't eat them. I didn't eat the toast because I couldn't dip them and the bread was too soft to eat as toast. $31 for our food and drinks and tip. Money wasted. I wish we would have got Rockne's next store. read more

The chance is medium-high there is going to be a wait on the weekends. It has been in my experience that the line moves fast and without a doubt... IT IS WORTH THE WAIT. This is the real deal. Samantha's in North Canton is the place to grab a good lunch after a rough morning of shopping. Lol. We ordered three different entrees, a turkey club sandwich, a Reuben and a Chicken cranberry salad. Strangely, the huge salad arrived absent the cranberries but with a plethora of strawberries instead. Not what was ordered but evidently cranberries were not available. This happens now and then but best practice would be to allow your customer to determine if the substitution is okay by telling them upfront. My Reuben was delicious and huge. Very loud, acoustic are terrible, couldn't carry a conversation with others at our table. Service was slow but the food was ok.

3 s for good service. On the menu I ordered the beef stroganoff. I was asked did I want noodles or mash potatoes. I prefer the noodles which wasn't the egg noodles, it was macaroni noodles. Also the menu states the beef stroganoff was prepared with mushrooms and onions, in which there was no onions. Plenty of mushrooms. Hardly any beef on the plate, and it was very bland. Reminds me of hospital food. Maybe their specialty is breakfast, I'll try that next time. If there is one. Ijs! The place itself was pretty nice. read more

The food was beautiful, the waiter was awesome, but I got charged Starbucks prices for black coffee. It really irritated me as a consumer for a diner style experience. Anyway, I got the eggs Benedict corned beef style. You should honestly try it if you haven't, you won't be disappointed. Wish I could give 3.5 stars. The food is usually good here. The last time I was there, I brought my elderly mom with me and we got shuffeled off into a smaller room with a bar. Kind of like Flounder and Pinto got shuffeled off in a room with Jugdish in Animal House. The "waitress" we had was more interested in doing her closing\side work than waiting on our table. Her appearence was totally unacceptable for waiting tables. She look like she was homeless wearing her clothes from Goodwill and her "fright wig" hair was all over the place. The omelets were amazing on 9/1/2024. Waitress Ashley was so friendly, kind and very attentive. Her helper, Riley, kept our coffee topped off for the entire meal. Such lovely staff! We'll be returning often. **One note - I'm __pleading__ for the management to add quilted baffles to the ceiling area to absorb the sound. The acoustics are so noisy/loud in there that we can hardly hear each other speak sometimes. We love this place, but sometimes look for quieter environments so we can visit while we eat. read more

This place is like a secret gem in the area! We stopped in on a whim and couldn't get over how great the menu was. We started with the pretzels and they did not disappoint. I ordered the pierogis and kielbasa and a side salad and it was so good! My son had the banana split waffles and it was absolutely delicious. It's been several years since I dined at this restaurant, and likely several more years before I go back. I was met at the door. The staff working the door decided that since I was a single diner I should be taken to and seated in the bar area, where only one other table was occupied. Evidently the main dining area is reserved for couples and families. The server appeared soon and took my order, bacon and eggs and home fries and water to drink. I was served my plate of food by a different server. I wondered where the original server went and would be coming with my water. When my meal was 1/2 eaten she appeared to ask how the food was and noticed that she had failed to bring water, which she then brought. The food was okay, the bacon was very salty and overcooked. After this seating experience I now know how elderly single people feel shunted aside by society. read more

Wow! Is all I can say. My husband and I stopped at this place on a whim after shopping out and about. We've been to canton numerous times but have never been here! Our first impression was nothing shy of spectacular. Workers are genuine, kind, and seem very attentive to their customers. The food is GREAT. My husband got the lobster roll and ate all of it in the blink of an eye, he said it was that good! I got the turkey avocado on pita and WOW. My Husband and I stopped in for a nice breakfast on 1/28/2025 and neither one of us was happy with the food. He had the pork chop and egg breakfast and the pork chop was not done . The waitress took it back to be cooked in a napkin. Of course he had finished his eggs and potato cakes. I wanted the ham and eggs and hash browns but they were out of ham so I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese Mcmuffin.
