Came in for breakfast one morning... Service was very friendly and helpful and my food tasted great! It was freshly made and really hit the spot. Coffee was fresh and hot and the OJ was good too. They never seem to be very busy when I have driven by during weekday mornings, not sure why. But they seem like a solid choice for decent breakfast in the area. read more

I chose to order from this restaurant because it's next door to the hotel I am staying at. I have only seen Bob Evans products in store . This is my first experience placed order on doordash. I ordered enough to last me a couple of days so I didn't try it all. My order consists of country fried steak, loaded mashed potatoes green beans and roll. Now this was eaten along with the chocolate chunk cookie and strawberry lemonade. I have no complaints at all. I haven't tried but also ordered lemon pepper sole filet, loaded French fries , steam broccoli, roll, (2) banana nut bread , double crust apple pie , and lemonade . The service is fine. The food isn't as good as one expects for the price being charged. Brown Heinz gravy from a jar with crumbled sausage is the "sausage gravy." The egg was fine. The potatoes were undercooked and under seasoned, both kinds. It's a 4$ breakfast gouging customers for $20. Lost this longtime regular for good. It's time business quit complaining and raising prices because of artificial reasons. Can't compete, close and let another business take over. And La Quinta next door sells Bob Evans parking spaces and shuttles people to the airport so it looks busy. It's not. PRO TIP: park in Bob Evans in morning hours and walk into La Quinta main lobby and eat free breakfast. Since they sell Bob Evans parking spaces nobody knows who is coming and going. It's time for the Moon location to shut its doors. As I sit here waiting for a table in an empty restaurant I learn that they have but one waitperson working at 8pm on a Saturday night. The good: ordered a southwest omelette and it was wonderfully cooked and delicious. The restaurant is clean. The service was attentive. The prices reasonable and a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch on the way to or from the Pittsburgh Airport. The very bad: From December 7-30 Allegheny County alone has had over 13,000 cases of Covid 19 and although the restaurant has a huge seating area they chose to pack everyone into one side. Every booth and table was full and mostly with people 55 and older while half the restaurant was empty. Some of the staff wore masks. Some did not. At a time when Covid is once again out of control please use some common sense in your seating and mask wearing. read more

After going in to pick up the food instead, inquired if silverware and syrup were included in the bag and was reassured that it was. I ordered on door dash for pickup, two turkey diners for me and my wife. With gravy on both diners, order said 6:29 when I placed order at 5:50 my wife left at 5:05 when she got to bob evens the food was sitting on the counter, it only took her 13 minutes to get there, she picked it up returned home by 6:22, the food was cold, if we waited as long as they said too the food would be ice cold, there was hardly no gravy on the turkey, the turkey was hard the mashed potatoes was a ball, with no gravy, it's like he cook didn't care about the dinners. This place was next door to our hotel we were staying at this past weekend (La Quinta). On these US road trips we're usually hitting up at either Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel at least once. As far as a nice sit down bang for the buck, Bob Evans is a good choice for variety and quality. Their biscuits are not too fluffy and not too lumpy. I like their portion sizes for country fried steak and the variety they have is good too. I went with the country fried steak and eggs with hash and a biscuit this time. For 10 bucks that's not bad considering a McD's breakfast is only about half of that in price. My brother ordered blueberry waffles and he was happy with his food. I like the portion size too, it's just right and not too much which when I'm long driving is good. I can't get too full when driving. Their country fried steak has the right amount of crunch and is a nice thickness too. I order my gravy on the side so it won't get too soggy too soon and I like to control how much gravy is on it too. I don't like it when there's too much. Considering there was only one server on our side of the restaurant which was basically almost completely full, she did a good job in taking care of us. I like the fact that when you order a coffee they bring an entire thermos. It saves us having to ask for more and it saves the server having to come back for refills too. Decent breakfast, good value, fast and friendly service is all here and free wifi too. read more

It's a reliable chain I can depend on if I can't find something locally owed. I particularly like their breakfasts. It's nothing special, but I know I can count on it. Biscuits and home fries are things I enjoy here. The service is generally good and the food is pretty good. Value is better than most places and I always look at the specials. read more

I ordered breakfast at 11:20 a.m. and was scheduled to pick it up at 11:50 a m. As I arrived at the restaurant, I proceeded inside and picked up my online order. When I arrive home, I noticed that some of my food items were missing. I contacted the store to speak with the manager and was put on hold. After 15 minutes of waiting no one picked up phone to address my issue. I ended the call. This is the second time in 30 days that I've had problems with Bob Evans in Monroeville PA. First whoever answer the phone there needs another job. You obviously have no joy in your job and it comes clearly over the phone. My husband was there on business and I rode along. We got in late but it was just a walk across the parking lot to the place. First she puts me on hold for a few minutes and then tells me he would have to be there quick to get it... No problem..take 2 minutes.. then she says... You know we close in about 10 minutes... Whatever! It would have taken them 10 minutes to slap something together and hand it to him to bring back to the hotel.. Needless to say we didnt get anything with her attitude. I have been here several times. The wait staff is slow. I have to constantly ask for refills and the wait staff acts as though they are doing me a favor. As I currently sit here they are out of placemats and the floor is disgusting. I have been waiting over an hour for my food. Please do not eat here. What's funny is all the bad reviews on this place are hidden. My husband is living cross county and has attempted to come to this location 3 times. Each time gets worse than the last. Management needs to seriously look at what the workers are doing, especially with getting people seated and served within a timely manor. You aren't in downtown Pittsburgh with a ton of customers, so stop treating your customers like crap, especially your veterans who have to live away from their families for long periods of time and rely on unfortunately coming to establishments like this one and getting crap to no service! read more
