The service by Brandon G was AMAZING. Super friendly and he went above and beyond. When I said the…read morewedding soup was meh, he offered to replace it with something else, but I said it was fine. Not bad. Still edible. Later, when he asked about the manicotti & I said it was amazing, he asked if it was better than the soup. I said it was much much better and that I knew next time I visited I'd get the Caesar salad instead of the soup. He said he'd bring one to go, since their Caesar dressing is amazing. I said that wasn't necessary, but he brought one anyway. Wow. Portions are very large (without the extra salad, my manicotti would still be three meals for me) & the food is delicious. I like the look of the restaurant and was surprised to see that they had TV's & a bar. Much nicer than I expected given the location.

A couple of us were really excited to try the chicken parm, but we were quickly disappointed by the lack of flavor (very, very bland) and how thick the pieces of chicken were. Our server was very attentive when we first arrived, but as our meal went on, she was no where to be found for drink refills, to check in, etc. In fact, we had to wait a good 20 minutes after we were finished eating for her to appear so we could ask for the check. Choosing to eat here ended up being a regret and waste of money. We spent over $100 for a meal that I honestly could have done a better job cooking at home...and I'm not even that great of a cook! Needless to say, we won't be back and don't recommend wasting your time and money here.

I refer to Moon as big box suburbia so Curry Mouth is a fantastic addition to our restaurant options. Last time I was in I got a curry mouth sampler for lunch to go. It's a great way to try a few different menu items and for only $10! Everything is so flavorful and made with so much love. Their houses are house made as well as a couple delicious drink options. The restaurant itself and area behind the counter is sparkling clean which shows how much love is going into their space and their dishes. If you live in another area of town Curry Mouth is worth the drive!!

Our first visit was right after they opened and with the long lines we ended up going elsewhere, so I was excited that this time we were able to walk right in and order. Curry Mouth sits in a strip mall in Moon Township. The inside is somewhat small with seating for about 10 to 20 people. They have a fun beach mural on the wall which my kids loved and you can also watch them grab food from their hot foods area. For dinner on this evening I started out with the doubles and then also ordered the curry chicken and roti while my wife went with the stew chicken meal. The menu described the doubles as flattened deep fried dough, eaten like a taco, garnished with curry chickpeas, cucumber and tamarind sauce. My curry chicken was described as boneless or bone-in curry chicken with curry chickpeas, potatoes and roti. My wife's was described as boneless or bone-in brown stew chicken with white rice, red beans and macaroni pie. After a short wait we had our food and were on our way. As soon as we got to the car we both tried the doubles and it was excellent. The curry chickpeas had great flavor, the dough was soft and satisfying, and I especially loved the sweetness from the tamarind sauce. Everything came together really well. Once we got home I was able to try my entrée and enjoyed that as well. The chicken was cooked nicely and the potatoes were soft. The star for me though was the roti which I think was brushed with butter or ghee and had a flavor that I really liked. My wife also especially enjoyed her macaroni pie and said this is a place she would happily go back to. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the doubles, and I am looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Maybe a little pricey compared to the surrounding area but quality comes at a cost. I enjoyed the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and broccoli casserole with a slice of lemon meringue pie. My experience was far from good but my husband was quite happy with his meal. This is truly cafeteria-style eating - stand in line and in your way forward to get a tray and move down the line of food options. I seriously didn't see anyone my age (56) or younger. The hubby who is 62 is familiar with this place as he grew up in Steubenville. We tried to come here for lunch previously after a funeral nearby - but it was closed that day = maybe Monday. Yes, I'm a somewhat finicky eater - only healthy foods. My current focus is protein and fiber. I was looking for a protein and veg - that's all. They had a stuffed chicken but I assumed it was stuffed with carbs so I passed on it. I inquired further and they finally suggested a broiled white fish. Fine. For a veg, they had green beans. BIG MISTAKE selecting those. That was all I got. Nothing else looked appetizing (nor did the green beans when I saw them). Hubby got a roll, pie, cabbage roll, mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. He was quite pleased with his food. Honestly, it didn't look that bad and I give them the assumption that they may excel at baked goods/pie. The meringue did look very well done. He went on to eat every bite. I did not. The fish was OK - a very mild white fish which was not too greasy and did flake with the touch of a fork. I ate it. The green beans were definitely from a can - and possibly very old. They had no vegetable taste and just tasted yucky - not a flavor I can describe. I did not eat them after that one and only bite. I would have appreciated a better selection of entrees and sides. Perhaps they are aiming at comfort food, but I'm just not sure. Having been to an MCL Cafeteria in Columbus decades ago, I recall it being a level above this place. They were maybe a little better than average but below a regular sit down restaurant. On the same level of the old Hometown Buffets. This place did not meet that standard. I'm hopeful not to return - but if we do, I think I'll ask to see what I'm being served being agreed to get it. Having done so this time would have saved me from the green beans and allowed me to forego a side altogether or probe further for other healthy options.
