Customers may dine in, get takeout, order catering for outside events, or rent the greenhouse for special events. My husband and I ate one breakfast here. We placed our order at a counter, paid upfront, and then were given our drink and a number to take to a table of our choosing. The weather on that day was very rainy, so we sat inside the greenhouse rather than outside, and the employees carried our foods over in containers with lids. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Peach Berry Stuffed French Toast - 4.5 stars - This was a weekend special. Challah French toast was stuffed with lemon mascarpone, peaches, and mixed-berry compote. It had a large serving size and a nice mixture of sweet and sour flavors. Bloom Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad contained mixed greens, sliced apple, dried cherries, candied pecans, gorgonzola, red onion, and maple balsamic dressing. Blue cheese is not my favorite, but I enjoyed the freshness and flavors of the other ingredients. Breakfast Egg Sandwich Croissant - 4.5 stars - This sandwich consisted of a croissant filled with two eggs, cheese, and three strips of crispy bacon. On the side was a basic salad with dressing. My husband did not like how the salad dressing got on his sandwich. Chai Latte - 4.5 stars - This Rishi Masala chai concentrate with steamed milk tasted very good. The total price for these three foods and one drink was $49 plus a tip. Afterward, we explored the market and gardening center. Available for purchase were jewelry, flower pots, many types of indoor and outdoor plants, and much more. Two employees kindly offered me assistance with the plants. I loved seeing the exterior of a hobbit house, although it was too short for me to go inside. Please note that this business will hold a Tolkien-inspired Hobbit Fest on September 12, 2026. I was thrilled to finally try Bloom Cafe. I arrived a little late for breakfast so had to make it a lunch instead. The salad was terrific. The ingredients were fresh, the aioli sauce and feta cheese paired well with the picked onion and roasted tomato. Especially love that you can sit outdoors while you eat (since it was hot, some people stayed inside). Also note, they do bring your food out to you, but you are expected to bus your own table. Visited for the first time today and was so surprised by this little gem tucked away in Mars. You order your food in the cafe and wait for It to be delivered to your table just across the sidewalk in their greenhouse. The food was good and the menu had alot of offerings I'm excited to try. My first time coming here was for a yelp event last year that I absolutely loved and I'm sad to say it didn't quite live up to the hype. By no means was it bad but it was definitely not as good as the event. A ham and apple sandwich was good very light so don't be too hungry if you order it or maybe order a extra side of something I enjoyed the apple I feel like it really added to the sandwich. The scramble was all right, not necessarily my taste, but there was nothing exclusively wrong with it. The bread tasted really fresh though. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie as a sweet treat to go, however, I didn't finish it because it was dry and lack flavor. The reason it's getting four stars instead of three is definitely the ambience being able to enjoy my meal in the greenhouse is definitely the biggest flex they have. It's so beautiful and even though it was a cold day, I was good. I did see that they have blankets in case it's extra cold for your convenience which I appreciated. I love visiting Bloom Cafe regularly and make it a point to go regularly when the weather is good to sit outside. They don't have inside seating but you can find some indoor seats by the greenhouse. Back patio is pleasant and you feel like being in a garden. Couple of seats up front are good for an expansive view. They come and find your number where ever you are sitting. No issues with service ever and they're pretty quick! Love it that they have full coffee as well as food, which is generally quite great and fresh. I had this wrap recently and it wasn't much to look at to be honest, but it was amazing and delicious! :-) The avocado toast was a bit small for my preference. I've had the Bloom Toast and I've loved that too. They have a loyalty program, which I like to have for my frequent places. I figured theirs gets me a latte every 7ish breakfast visits. It's a coffee a year - not the greatest. But if you go with family it will add up to more quicker. Wifi barely makes it onto the patio. Sit up front if you want wifi! Beautiful garden setting. Plenty of seating but you spend so much time in a Long line to place order. Then you wait at the table a long time to receive the food Mixed reviews for the food. My husband's bloom breakfast was good. He liked the sausage and cheesy potatoes. My trifecta breakfast was very dry. The pancakes were dry, the bacon was overcooked, more like jerky, I don't think they fried my egg with butter. It was dry too. The one little packet of maple syrup was not enough for the dry pancakes. The strawberry basil lemonade had very little flavor. 2 Breakfasts including 2 scones to go was $45. read more

We drove by this super cute spot a few times and I decided I had to go! It's a cute cafe adjacent to a nursery, with plenty of plants, shaded seating and colorful murals. Menu includes breakfast and lunch dishes, and maybe we didn't order the best items but I was a little underwhelmed by food quality compared to the pricing. The spicy veggie sandwich was basic wheat bread with scant toppings, but the sauce was good. The Tuscan tuna sandwich had good flavor but also felt lacking. Service was lackluster and left my coffee sitting on the counter for the duration of our meal rather than bring it out with our food - we were the only customers and there were several employees standing around. I loved visiting Bloom Cafe with my girl friends for breakfast over the weekend. It may not look like it, but there is ample seating behind the cafe on the patio, as well as a lounge room, and the greenhouse! I have heard a lot about this adorable place and, being from the South Hills, never had the opportunity to stop by until last weekend when I was in the area meeting up with friends for another activity nearby. Two of us met at the café to grab a drink and a bite to eat. They have a delicious sounding menu focused on fresh, farm-to-table, seasonal items. My friend got a sandwich, which I believe was on Mediterra bread. I got a Mac and cheese which I have to say was a little disappointing; I just prefer it a little creamier and cheesier. However, my iced latte, which was a seasonal fall creation, was absolutely phenomenal. You order at the counter and they will bring it to you wherever you are sitting, which lucky for us was in the beautiful garden center. We did a little tour of the property which includes gorgeous plants you can buy, as well as all kinds of home decor, gifts, fall pumpkins, etc. There are gorgeous bright murals on the walls outdoors and the whole place couldn't be more Instagrammable. I wish I had been here during breakfast hours as they had some lovely seasonal items such as granolas I would have liked to try. Bloom cafe is extremely cute with a nursery and little store attached in theory I love this place, but the food just doesn't hold up. With my last visit I got the pub turkey panini and a coffee for about $20 and this is how it looked. Anything else I have ordered here in the past has also fallen flat in the same way- turkey was a bit too dry, the garlic aoili had no garlic taste, three singular pieces of arugula. It's just a bit scant for the price point. I think with other pgh sandwich places and cafes as its competition bloom just does not hold its own in food quality. I do recommend going here though and maybe getting a coffee and buying some plants as it is a great spot to at least check out and the employees are very nice. I just would be wary about spending a meal time here, anything more than an avocado toast will leave you pretty unsatisfied unfortunately. Such a quaint idea here nestled in the farmland of Valencia. Tables are set up in the nursery section so viewing all the beautiful well tended to plants while having breakfast makes a special tone for sure. Eggs in Purgatory is a favorite dish.
