Elevated above a "continental breakfast" but not so pretentious that it sacrifices it's taste or quantity. For me, First Watch is a personally underrated, solid, fast casual breakfast chain. I'm confident the primary complaint here would be the same for most locations - the wait. The wait is not ideal (for two of us it was 45 minutes). As compared to other spots & places I've reviewed and complained about wait times - this is a restaurant, not a walk-up window or a spot that isn't constantly "buzzing." This spot would be five stars for me if the location were bigger and could expedite that hold up. However, the food and their service was top notch. Worth a wait - 45 minute is cutting it close but cravings are real. The team here is great, food was delicious. Will absolutely be back. read more

We wavered on joining the wait list when he told us it would be 30 minutes on a busy Sunday morning but decided to make the best of it and sit outside on a bench to enjoy the morning. So glad we did because our table was ready in 15 minutes! Beautiful! Do yourself a favor and try the Farm Stand Breakfast tacos with a refreshing Kale and Apple Tonic to go with it. These were three very, very tasty tacos and the side cup of black beans was not overly seasoned at all which was so enjoyable. WOW. I'm so in awe of this location. I have been to 3 other locations that are nice. This location is above and beyond my expectations. From the friendliness of the hostess. To my waitress Megan. She was on top of every detail. My drink never went dry and it was service with a smile from the start. I ordered the same meal I always get at each location but I was given options that I was never asked at the others. When my food can to the table the presentation was breathtaking in comparison to the others where it's already mixed up and you have to fork through the food to see the ingredients. Service was fast and friendly, though not super attentive, portions were a nice size. Omelettes were fresh and tasty. Million dollar bacon was perfection. Cinnamon roll was dry (tasted baked from frozen, but homemade) but overall good. They ran out of cinnamon chips for pancakes by 11:30 am which was disappointing because boy oh boy did they sound delightful. Overall, the experience was a decent one. It was hectic and packed, but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Service was breakfasty, quick and efficient, due largely to the limited menu choices and lack of alcohol. We ordered the classic eggs Benedict, with potatoes for me. The eggs were a little disappointing, not really classic, with chipped ham instead of Canadian bacon. The sauce was wimpy too. I was served an Eggs Benedict Florentine that was the worst I'd ever had, anywhere. The one slice of bread that was substituted for the usual two English Muffins was stale. The Hollandaise Sauce was non-existent. The chef threw a few stray spinach leaves on the plate and called it a day. Large leaves, not shredded as they should have been. Very lazy! We love this brunch spot. Can get fairly crowded by 10 AM on the weekends, but usually it's only a 15 min wait at most, or you can snag some seats at their communal table. They have a seasonal menu in addition to their standard menu. I always get a hash or frittata which is typically served with fresh greens, potatoes, and multigrain toast with homemade preserves. Love that they have vegetarian options. We've been here several times and the food is always fresh and delicious. Their coffee is also great - they deliver a carafe to your table and always offer coffee to go. They even have a cute coffee bar by the door if you want some to have while waiting for your table or heading out the door. This is a great option for fresh and healthy (if you choose) brunch items. I came with a group of 4 on a Sunday, and the crowd/wait was extensive. I checked in online ahead of time, and the system estimated a wait of 1 and 1/2 hours. We got there a bit early, but still had to wait beyond the estimated time. Once we got seated, the wait was behind us and we were greeted with delicious food and excellent service. I ordered the chickichanga, directly bypassing the many healthy options on the menu. It was definitely worth every calorie! However, my dad is on a keto diet and he had no problems finding something suitable on the menu. They even customized one of the menu items to make it keto friendly for him. To drink, I ordered the morning meditation, which was a beautiful looking drink and tasted just as good. Everyone at our table was satisfied with their food and drinks. Our server was friendly and accommodating, keeping everyone's drinks full and making sure we were all happy. First and last time at this place. Went to breakfast this morning to catch up with a retired coworker. When we arrived there was quite a crowd there, but the line did move fast and we were seated in about 20 minutes. Once seated our waiter came over and offered to get our beverage order. I thankfully ordered hot tea as well as a glass of water. When the waiter brought over our glasses, mine was filthy. The waiter took my glass and replaced it with another, which I appreciated, however, this glass was also filthy. The waiter, clearly irritated at this point and he told us that the spots we were seeing on the glass were simply "watermarks". They were not watermarks - I was actually able to scrape some of the debris off of the glass with my fingernail and a napkin. He seemed perturbed by the fact that I want to get another new glass and said these are just watermarks if I have to get a new glass it'll be a tall glass as if that matters to me. I simply refused and only drank my hot tea while at the restaurant. The food was decent. Nothing to write home about but decent. Unfortunately, when I went to grab the last piece of my pancake, I found a hair underneath! I absolutely will never return to this restaurant. It is filthy, and customer service is lacking. My coworker who is treating breakfast this time around was really upset that this was my first experience at a place that she recommended. She went to the manager after she checked out and paid the bill. The manager also made the excuse that these were watermarks on the glasses. I am not an unreasonable person. I fully understand that sometimes the dishwasher simply doesn't work or doesn't get the spots out that can happen and it's understandable. This was not that as you can see this food debris or whatever is clearly on an unwashed and/or unacceptable gto give to a customer. If you plan to eat here, I would suggest bringing your own cup plates and flatware. I wouldn't trust anything coming out of that kitchen after my experience today. In the end the manager comped our meal but that wasn't the goal. We simply wanted to make him aware of the issue but accountability was lacking so doubt anything will change. read more

I have never been to this location before & they did not disappoint! The place is so cute, everyone was so kind & helpful, and the food was amazing! We started with the cheddar bacon cornbread, sweet & savory, I would order this everytime! I also got a Bloody Mary which was pretty good! Wasn't the hugest fan of this place. They say that first impressions are important and somewhat defining of how a person views a business moving forward. This establishment did not give such a great first impression. When we arrived, and I was part of a large party here, they were aware of how many of us were going to be there and that we were going to be having an informal meeting. When the first of our party arrived they attempted to seat us at the communal table. Wouldn't have been a bad idea if there weren't already people sitting there and not even in groupings, but spread out. Would not have made for any type of productivity for any type of meeting. They moved us to an area right behind the entry which was better and accommodated to our party. Once we sat down there, the first impression did not improve. I appreciate that they bring a bottle of water to be shared by the table. Great, I'm all about streamlining and it cuts out if you want water later in the meal. But something must have been wrong with dishwasher. Almost every glass on the table had marks of some sort. One still had lipstick on it, one had paper from either a straw wrapper or napkin, and others just had the appearance that there was residue left over. Made drinking the water a bit more of a task than it should be and kind of an afterthought. I ended up going with tea which you have to sweeten yourself, so you can have it as sweet as you want. As for my meal, since this was an early meeting, I went with a breakfast, which is really rare for me. I went with the Biscuits and Turkey Sausage Gravy. I find it interesting that they say biscuits in the title, in actuality it is one huge biscuit that has been halved. The gravy, could use a bit of attention. Yes it is made from turkey sausage, but you can tell that it was links and not crumbled sausage. The eggs were cooked the way I liked, scrambled. And the breakfast potatoes were a bit of hit and miss. The potatoes that were cooked appropriately were amazing. However, some of the potatoes were burnt and gave a bitter taste. There were a little more non-potato items than there were potatoes, or at least it seemed that way to me. Overall, it wasn't all that great of a first impression. Would I come back, yes, but during a time where I'm not squeezed into a table and on my own. That way I could be on a more one on one way to take it all in. read more

Visited here on a Sunday morning and had an overall good experience. No wait time around 8:30am. Our server asked us for drinks right away and was very friendly, checking in on us 2-3 times while we ate. The menu is pretty big and there's something for everyone. One thing I liked about the menu is that everything has the calorie count, which helps make conscious decisions--to indulge or not to indulge? I ended up having the turkey and egg white omelette on a roasted tomato wrap. My wrap was served with fruit that was perfectly ripe and delicious. Coffee was also on point. My family is obsessed with First Watch. We love their food. Whatever you order is always delicious. My family even comes from Youngstown to go with us since they don't have one. My cousin is obsessed with the chicachanga. He talks about it constantly and can't order anything else. We all love the million dollar bacon because it's super sweet and unbelievably delicious. I also like ordering the side of chicken sausage on an English muffin. We all love the potatoes. Some family members love the omelettes. You can't go wrong wit anything on the menu. The wait is always crazy. Go to their website and get in line. It'll tell you the wait for your party. Get there and check in. You still typically have to wait but not as long. It was no lie THREE hours last Sunday. Life's too short. The only thing that sucks about their waiting system is there are no updates like you used to get in the Yelp App. They need to add that. I got the Farmhouse Hash, and the avocado was not really that ripe, and the potato was undercooked. There was one time that I got my coffee, went to run errands, and someone ran into me, so I dropped my coffee from them. I went back to get another cup, and they gave it to me free of charge. First Watch is known for using high quality, fresh & organic ingredients with many healthy options and fresh pressed juice offerings. I enjoy many of their meals including their egg hash dishes. The "Skillet Hash - Parma" is two cage-free eggs atop fresh, seasoned potatoes, Italian sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with melted Parmesan, Mozzarella and fresh herbs.
