For those who enjoy late lunches know this isn't open until three. When I arrived shortly after three there was a line formed at the hostess station. Wow. I waited in line for maybe fifteen minutes because the hostess had to answer the phone first before addressing any in person customers. At least that is how things worked out two times. Arrived on a Tuesday night at 5 and there was no wait. The restaurant was pretty slow. We had 4 adults and two babies at our booth. We ordered our drinks shortly after that and then our food. Drinks took about 20 minutes. Our waitress came back 3 times and asked if we wanted more rolls and each time we said yes. We never got more rolls till the end. At this point, it was 5:50 before we got the salads we ordered with our meal. We had to find someone else to ask if they knew what the hold up was. Our order was never put in. We got our salads and then food arrived around 6:10. Food was ok other than one of us ordered a salmon and it was completely raw. At that point we just wanted to pay and leave because little ones were starting to get fussy. We never saw our server again after the manager brought our food out. We went to pay on the Ziosk and to our surprise there were 5 different checks on it. Could not even pay on that because the bill made no sense. Our server again was no where to be found so we had to ask another worker if they could help us. They brought the manager over who then finally printed us a correct bill. Ava was our server and she was great! It was really busy for how early it was, she was mindful to check in and received our food hot! I got the 8 oz Dallas filet with a salad and baked potato. I chose to get the mushrooms and onions as topper but ate the mushrooms without the steak (I love the seasoning). This is my favorite bc the steak is always seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The wait after ordering was very long, about 40 minutes. The ribs were dry although covered with bbq sauce, way overcooked. The green beans described by the server as special with oil and bacon seasoning are canned, not good. The macaroni and cheese was barely room, temperature and bland. The sirloin steak ordered as medium rare was very well done. The server did replace it for a medium rare. The server was very pleasant and personable, but she only asked us if we were OK BEFORE we got our food which took a long time as I stated. We got take out for the first time from this location and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was very well packaged, toppings are on the side, and there was a separate hot and cold bag. My food was ready about 10 minutes sooner than anticipated and it was very easy to get in and out even on a busy night. Very enjoyable meals had here recently. Had a ribeye steak one visit and a steak kabob another, both times having wine as well. Once it was pretty packed but you can wait in your car and they text you when your table is ready. Worked like a charm. So, I completely forgot this restaurant even existed until now. They offer a free appetizer for first time customer and have a rewards program. The larger selection of drinks was unexpected, I got the mango margarita ($10) which was surprisingly large and a good kick to it. Entrees have two sides. I got the steak and shrimp with rice (buttery and a lot of flavor!) and broccoli (not pictured however the best cooked broccoli I had as finally well cooked), the shrimp came with toast seemingly soaked with lemon from the shrimp. Went to this TR as a friend was hosting a benefit there and the location was offering 10% of the bill for the charity...which was very nice of them. We were seated quickly by a friendly hostess and our server came quickly to get a drink order. Our orders were taken and the food came out prompt and hot. I'm typically not one for chain steakhouses, but our salads, sides and entrées were good. No issues with the service, food or the price (and they offer a military discount - I'm mil retired). We went here over the weekend. We enjoyed our server, Todd, who was covering our area in addition to bar tending. We had salad, I had ribs and my wife and daughter a big steak. My other daughter had a burger. All were cooked to the correct temperature and well seasoned. It an enjoyable place to eat although the wait is a little crazy. We dined here 12/27/21 to celebrate a late Christmas with family. We have previously visited this location so were excited to dine here again. We put our name on the waitlist from the website and was told 55 mins to 1 hour and 5 mins. The 55 mins was accurate. There was a good number of people waiting outside the restaurant or in their vehicles due to Covid restrictions. We had a pair of severs who were very energetic. They could have worn their masks over their noses but to each their own. My husband and I ordered the Dallas filets and my father in law ordered the sirloin with ribs. Unfortunately, the ribs were extremely dry. When the manager came around to ask us about our experience we shared that the ribs were dry and she basically said "sorry to hear that" and walked away. I would have expected her to offer a new plate of ribs or offer to take money off the bill or give him a free dessert. Very disappointing. The servers let us know our salads would be coming out after our steaks because the kitchen was a "hot mess" and the salad girl was backed up. Did I mention the warm rolls and butter? :) We ordered the jalapeño cheese balls, I would definitely get them again, they do have a little heat to them but they are very tasty. I often have trouble with steaks so I decided to try the tips. I ordered them medium well...they were perfect. The tips are served with rice or potato and have a dollop of sour cream. We arrived here on a Saturday around 445pm, trying to beat the dinner rush. I guess everyone had the same idea because it was about a 35 min wait. We were eventually seated and our server, whom I think was Bree, was very friendly and helped me decide on a drink (Leine Summer Shandy) and my fiancé ordered the Texas Peach Fuzz. We both ordered steaks. Myself getting the 11oz sirloin and her getting the 8oz sirloin and shrimp combo. Both were ordered medium rare. They brought our steaks out and had us cut into them to check for proper cooking, I mistakenly cut into the edge and it appeared pink so I said it was good. Now normally steaks get pinker or more rear the further you cut into it, this was not the case. It just got more cooked, by the center it was almost well done. My fiancé gave me a bite of hers which was cooked properly medium rare but their was absolutely no flavor, thank goodness she ordered it smothered with onions and mushrooms. I didn't want to be the customer that eats half their food and sends it back or seem like I was just trying to get a discount, and based off my fiancé's steak I didn't even see the point of trying to get another. I was simply disappointed. I still tipped 20% to our server because she was awesome and it wasn't her fault my steak was cooked improperly. The parking lot seemed very full but our wait was only 15 min. There is seating inside and outside while waiting The food and service were great. Loved the bread and butter as always. I ordered a chicken salad and my husband ordered a steak. Everyone was friendly and the managers stopped by to visit. For drinks, I had the Hurricane Margarita which was delicious. Drinks have a ton of ice though and it's kind of pricey so extra ice is rather annoying. You can add a patron shot for $2 on the side so that's cool. Drink was average in terms of how strong it was.. not a super fantastic strong drink but not a crappy one either. If you aren't familiar with Texas Roadhouse they play county music in the background. Lots of seating options including seats at the bar. The staff was friendly to us and our waitress very kind. The warm rolls with the cinnamon butter are the best! The cactus appetizer is a fried onion like the bloomin onion. Every table gets a bucket of peanuts too. My grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The portion was large with 2 sides. My husband's steak was a little under but he said was good otherwise. The menu is pretty large with lots of meat options. Few non-meat options so not the place for a vegetarian but you could find something. It is moderately loud so I would not call this an intimate setting. Food is good. Don't understand why they have a waitlist when you arrive they say another 15 minuets. I thought the whole point of having a waitlist is not to wait. On another note. They will sing to you for your birthday and make you sit on a saddle if you're inclined. If you don't like country music I would suggest not to go. The music does get loud.
