Amazing hidden gem! Easy parking, tables are already set with 4 types of jelly, two types of creamer, syrup and ketchup. Service is quick and friendly, continuing to fill your coffee cup, giving you extra napkins with your silverware, quickly taking your plate away when you're finished. Delicious fresh food! I had the hillbilly omelette which had delightfully seasoned hashbrowns inside with cubes of deloius ham, fresh green peppers, American cheese( my choice on the type of cheese) I chose rye bread to accompany and was happy to receive perfectly toasted marble rye. My fiancé had lightly scrambled eggs, with a beautiful piece of ham steak and pancakes- they give you at least 5 types to choose from- he chose blueberry and the 2 enormous pancakes were filled to the max! This place used to be amazing!!! Used to be where you went to get good food and service. Now you won't get either of those things here, especially the service. My wife and I as well as our 3 kids were ignored for 30 plus minutes before leaving. They only do breakfast now and have the worst staff ever. Good luck staying open. read more

Went here twice while I was home and the second time I cleaned my plate. This is an off the beaten path diner with a true diner feel. When I say true diner feel, I mean they will make you wait forever for service. Well at least the food was good. Both times I got breakfast. Loaded locomotive with no mushrooms. The only issues I had with the food was that everything was touching. Eggs on top of potatoes, cheese on top of everything. I'm just not a fan of my food touching. The waitress was kind enough to give me coffee to go that she fixed for me and everything. Much appreciated! This random little restaurant is a hole in the wall but the food was good. The State Health Department NEEDS to get back in here and do SOMETHING! This is ridiculously GROSS!! I had to ask for clean silverware. We watched the cook (who had longer than shoulder length hair, NOT in a hairnet) never change her gloves after coming out of the kitchen, touching doors and more then return right to cooking!! Never brought our waters. Food was awful and burnt. I meant we orded the simplest things too. Kids didn't get the fries we ordered (lucky they weren't on the bill either!!) Table and both were FILTHY !! Silverware was DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY!! ONE MENUE PER TABLE and it was, you guessed it FILTHY! I know I will NOT BE GOING BACK THERE!! Its been shut down before for violations and apparently they still have A LOT to fix! Makes me wonder how they keep the lights on there! read more

I tried the Loaded Locomotive; which is home fries or hash browns, onions, bacon, peppers & mushrooms topped with 2 eggs (done your way) and cheese. This would have been good except the bacon pieces were way overdone and hard, plus the sunny side up eggs I ordered came out more like over hard. If it was done correctly, I could have had the yolk oozing over everything making the dish so much better. Husband had the country fried steak which was a good size portion. For his sides he got mashed potatoes & cottage cheese. The funny thing is the server (who I think may have been a cook filling in) put the cottage cheese in more of a soup bowl. There was probably 2 lbs of cheese (we took most of it home!). Said his was ok. read more

We enjoy going here for breakfast and lunch several times a month. We have always been pleased with the friendly service, food selection (as large as a typical diner menu) including daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert specials), cleanliness, and low prices. I really don't know why there are several negative reviews for Track's End---this is an inexpensive railroad diner that serves the public decent food at a decent price--not a high-class restaurant. If you want to pay more you should go to Denny's or Cracker Barrel. The food here is just as good. read more

Its close to my house and always open so anyways: So I was in there this one time and asked the waitress about the chili.. She said "DONT order the chili" which was a large red flag my group and I. So after that I believe I ordered some eggs which were fine.. At this point I had eaten there probably about a dozen times and assumed everything was kosher, it being a new establishment with new equipment and all. So after work one morning I stopped in for some bacon and eggs. Still sitting in my car, I was in the parking lot gathering my phone and other items to take in to the diner when I heard the sound of someone spitting hockers on the sidewalk. As I approached the side entrance (while subsequently also getting closer to him) I realized much to my dismay that this person who was slouched on a milk crate, sniffing his nose and wiping his hands all over himself was the one and only cook. I just ate there this morning. Just like almost every restaurant in Ambridge, this place is awful. Hash Browns? A pile of warmed up potatoes with no seasoning. Not heated, just warmed. Not browned and crispy like hash browns are supposed to be, just lazy cooking. Why would a restaurant hire a cook that has NO IDEA what they are doing? WHY? I was promised by the towns locals that I could get their legendary bacon wrapped chicken wings.....but the waitress said the cook wouldn't make them for such a large order (45 wings) so I asked if they would just do 10, to which they said no. So......i guess I don't get any wings! but in all fairness it was 4am.....but still if you make a certain dish and that draws people to your place......you should probably make that dish! read more

Had a great lunch several times I have been here. The place is great looking and clean. As it is new, some of the wait times were as expected, but it is easy to tell they are working out the kinks. One of the most modern restaurant facilities in the area. I have yet to try breakfast there but lunch was great. A simple menu, but for the area, and demographic, this works out perfect. read more

Hopefully the quality is just growing pains from just opening but it is pretty hard to screw up a breakfast this bad. Ordered two eggs over-medium, homefries, sausage and toast. The restaurant calls this meal "The Brakeman". The eggs were so under cooked the whites were not just runny, they were still translucent. The homefries were made from an extremely bruised potato and were only half cooked and still hard. The whole time the cook was hacking and coughing non-stop as if he had the worse cold of his life and should be confined to a bed. On the plus side, the sausage was quite good although pretty greasy. The toast was ok but I completely lost my appetite by that point. With breakfast this bad, who knows what a dinner would be like. read more

Totally awesome place. Open 24/7 except Christmas. Food is usually done in 4-5 minutes. Everything is made fresh except the deserts. Awesome diner. The prices are very low (average 5dollars)compared to the HUGE portions of food you get. Definitely worth a try. read more
