We had a great experience on Saturday night at Bigham Tavern. We were there with five other family members and had a great time. We had several drinks and the fry appetizer...odd combo but wonderful taste! My husband had a Turkey sandwich, I had the wonderful pot roast, my dad had the hot ham bbq that he could not stop talking about, my mom had the macaroni and cheese with a salad, other people got salads, wings and sandwiches. Nice Job Bingham Tavern Bridgewater!!! On June16th I made my first visit there and met my father and two brothers. In keeping with the Mt. Washington location, parking was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to find a spot. I drove two hours from out-of-state and was really hoping it was going to be a nice dinner. We were greeted immediately and with enthusiasm. It was "music bingo" night and was already getting busy, but we found a fantastic table on the patio, under the awning, overlooking the marina. It was quieter than inside but still had a nice buzz about it. The weather was perfect for eating outside. After dinner there was a quick rain-shower, but the awning did its job and we weren't interrupted or sent running! We were attended to quickly and soon drinks and various appetizers were served. A little later we had our main courses of assorted wings and a burger. Nobody had any complaints about the food whatsoever. It was all well-executed American tavern food; unpretentious, honest, and delicious! We were there for a bit over an hour and a few different servers checked with us regularly. Fresh drinks and extra napkins were provided as needed and the servers always had good energy and smiles. We were never rushed and were made to feel very welcomed. Overall I loved the whole experience. The service, atmosphere, food, and prices were all excellent. If you are looking for a solid tavern experience with a nice riverside location, I highly recommend you give Bingham Bridgewater a try. read more

Came here while visiting our family to enjoy a family dinner on the river. We were able to sit out on the patio which was very nice. Since it was taco Tuesday I ordered one fish and one chicken taco. The table also ordered the smash burger, the turkey club and a few appetizers. They served a fried version of the pierogi and I thought it was pretty tasty. My husband likes the steamed/boiled version better but said it was good. All those who ordered the tacos were somewhat disappointed as there was not much filling or flavor and the tortillas were not fresh. My mother in law who ordered the turkey club said the turkey was more like deli meat so she was an also disappointed since she was expecting freshly roasted turkey. The hit of the table was the smash burgers. Those who ordered this were happy with their meals. With this said, it depends on what you order but most dishes we ordered were a miss and we would not order it again. read more

I've been several times to the location on Mt. Washington and enjoyed it. When I saw one closer to home (only slighlty) I thought I need to give it a try. The place was very busy and we had a little wait despite being the only folks obviously waiting. We finally got seated and it was cold out, they seated us in a back corner that allowed cold air in to constantly blow on us. So we froze. I ordered the cheesesteak and fries. The fries were limited. The cheesteak unfortunately had a little gristle in it which was disheartening. My wife had a Rachel and enjoyed it. The service was somewhat slow and not the best when we went. read more

Waitresses need trained. We sat at our table on the patio for over 10 minutes before the waitress showed. If she was busy she should have at least acknowledged us. She took our drink and food order. A different waitress delivered our food (no big deal). My friend had tater tots and had to ask for ketchup (waitress should have anticipated the ketchup). She brought a condiment basket. There was no salt and my friend had to go searching inside the restaurant for salt. Waitress returned about 20 minutes later and asked if we were finished. She brought our checks and disappeared for another 10 minutes. She came to pick up the checks and asked if change was needed. Why would she assume that the change was hers. Our first experience at Bingham's was exceptional. This visit was so disappointing. The wait staff definitely needs trained to anticipate the customers needs. Seeing our waitress only 3 times did not impress. Food was okay but not as good as first visit. I will probably return again, but it will be awhile. read more

First time there, last night came in ordered appetizers and sandwiches, our sandwiches came out and we never got our appetizers, my wife also ordered French onion soup, which didn't come either until I asked about it. We tried this newly opened location today and WOW! I can't wait to try this place in the summer. There are plenty of tables inside and outside and it is right along the river, which will be really fun during the warm months to watch the boats go by. We were greeted by a hostess right away. She was very kind and took us to a table. We had an excellent server. They have plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant to watch a game. We ordered their animal style fries as an appetizer and tried some boneless wings. Both were delicious. Their fries are great and well seasoned but had plenty of toppings without being mushy. The boneless wings were also very good and both sauces that we tried were excellent. I look forward to coming back on wing night on Wednesdays to try more flavors. Service was very slow, with food taking over an hour to arrive. When it came out, it was cold. The water also had a strange taste. We were served soup without a spoon, and it took about 15 minutes after asking to get one. We also had a 2 year old with us, and the long wait made the experience especially difficult. I recently went for wing day and tried their Texas Tingle flavor boneless wings! They were AMAZING! I also recently ordered from their Brunch Menu and had The Black & Gold Rogie Bowl! It was delicious and packed full of flavor! I highly recommend giving it a try! The atmosphere is great! I have great quality service everytime I visit! Second visit. Friendly, attentive service. Don't care for the loud country music and it was cold in the dining room. Skip the appetizer pierogies. Just deep fried frozen pierogies that are not worth it. Tried Taco Tuesday and regretted my choice. Quesabirria was as just pulled beef and heat - no flavor, not even salt. The side dip was cold and greasy with no flavor. Fish taco was a little better, but had 2 tiny bites of fish and none of the other elements on it made it better. Come check them out! We've been long time fans of the Mt Washington location, but being Beaver Countians we don't venture into town too often. Been waiting for this location to open forever. And finally it's here! I'm seeing some familiar faces from the other location. Chatting with the hostess there's a bunch of folks from there helping get the staff here trained up and good to go. Cozy atmosphere inside on Thanksgiving Eve. The place is nicely done, and glad to see a few nods up the original decoration here and there. Food is top notch and what I expected. Hostess said 40 minutes, so I said we would wait at bar. After a few minutes went back and asked if she wanted our name for wait and she said, thought you were eating at bar. So we were put on the list after others came in. When seated I decided on wings at market price, maybe the way they hide they are 21.50 a dozen? They do not have a buffalo flavor? I ordered one that had at least buffalo in the flavor. They came sitting in grease and were cooked well but were of course greasy and boring. I was surprised to see that the tavern was open. I had been anticipating it for a long time and immediately decided to order takeout. The order was screwed up to a point that I didn't think would be possible. I ordered three items and five things were screwed up. I ordered hyena wings with blue cheese and celery and carrots. The wings came without a sauce or the blue cheese and vegetables. I ordered a Rachel sandwich with fresh cut fries. The Rachel was lacking the coleslaw and I did not receive the fries. I also ordered a burger and chips which were fulfilled as ordered, but on a sidenote, packing the chips with a burger in Styrofoam didn't seem to work. The chips were soggy and awful before I got halfway home. On the plus side, the food was delicious, excepting the exclusions. I will definitely be back soon, but only to dine in, I think. I fully expect them to dial in the drive-through eventually, but they are not there yet and have a long way to go. read more

We ordered take out which was a big mistake. I saw other reviewers complaining that the order was wrong, but I thought, maybe it was just a bad night on their night. Nope. It's obvious that whoever is packing the to go orders doesn't bother checking the actual orders. We ordered wings with veggies and ranch and two Pittsburgh salads. Pick up time was listed as 6pm. My husband was early to pick it up. Everything was cold when he got home 10 minutes later. The wings weren't even lukewarm so it's obvious they had been sitting for awhile. The steak and fries on the salads were also not even lukewarm. We ordered 3 ranch dressings for the wings and salads. We got 0 dressings at all and no veggies with the wings. Why are there even options to select these items on the order form if you aren't going to provide it? So now my husband is at the grocery store buying some ranch dressing to eat with our cold food. $63 for 6 wings and two salads and they couldn't even get the order correct. This was our first time to try Bigham's and it pretty good. Parking is limited and it seems small inside . I had a steak sandwich which was very good and my husband had the hangover smash burger which although he said was rather spicy , he enjoyed it. We also had chips with beer cheese - I personally didn't like the chips but I was addicted to the cheese. Service was really good too - our waitress (Rowan) was attentive and friendly. We definitely want to return to try other items from the menu. We went on a Saturday evening and had about a 35 minute wait which wasn't bad since it was really busy . I say give it a shot .
