Brand new restaurant in Bridgewater, PA. Sits right on the Beaver River with a view of the river while dining. There is also Al fresco dining available! Food is top notch! The Brickstone Seafood Trio is fantastic! A HUGE scallop so tender and cooked to perfection! Yes we were able to brag to the chef how well it was cooked. The shrimp were also cooked perfectly and were so meaty and seasoned well!! The steak fajita was amazing!! The steak was so flavorful and again cooked very well. Nice sized portion. We also ordered the crab fundido. Every single bite was with plenty of crab meat. It was plenty for 2 people. There was definitely more dip than chips and we enjoyed the extra dip with our forks! The wait staff was great. Lexi was very attentive and kept checking on us. The space is huge! Perfect place to meet with a group of friends. Our server was very nice and attentive. The view from our table was beautiful. These are the only positive things I have to say. OUR EXPERIENCE WAS AWFUL! We ordered THREE RIVERS CHIP & DIP, the chips were very overcooked and flavorless. Three people in our group ordered BOATHOUSE FAJITAS - one of each Grilled Chicken, Chipotle Ribeye, & Shrimp. They arrived at our table swimming in oil/butter, the flour tortillas were cold and soggy from laying on top of the lettuce and Pico de gallo. The portion sizes are grossly undersized for what you pay. One ordered the BOATHOUSE BURGER which was very overdone, they were asked what temperature and he wanted medium, NOT We also had a child with us which she got a cheese Quesadilla, hardly any cheese was on it, it was basically a grilled tortilla for $8.00 One person in our group got a tap beer and he was drinking the last bit he discovered a plastic condiment lid a the bottom, I wanted to throw up. It had rained really hard and when my daughter got up from the table she almost fell due to water that had ran in during the storm. $120.00 for 5 people for very disappointing meals. I have been wanting to try this new restaurant- I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service was excellent. Everyone seemed to enjoy their job- the view from my seat was amazing- was offered to dine outside on deck but chose to eat inside. The hot honey margarita was delicious and the crab dip appetizer didn't disappoint. My husband had fajitas and I had the seafood on a stone- we loved both! We'll be back! read more

The view from the deck was very nice. That is the only good thing I can say about my experience at this establishment. If you're planning on trying this new place in Bridgwater, PA give it another think and go elsewhere. Atmosphere rates a zero except for the outside deck which isn't very inviting. Service was non-existent. The server was nice enough but failed to check on our needs and never gave us his name. Told me they were brewing a fresh pot of tea for me but never returned to tell me they didn't have any tea in the house so I had water that I had to ask for a refill. The menu is not inviting and the prices here are over the top for the area compared to other venues. I did enjoy the seafood trio as all items were cooked correctly. The side of vegetables was acceptable and the beans were tasty as a soup that wasn't served with a spoon. I had to ask for pepper for the table and that's all they delivered. I didn't ask for salt so I guess that was my mistake. Our other order was the chicken fajitas. Came with only two shells and no plate to build the taco. The chicken was okay but came with a long hair attached to a sautéed onion. When we pointed this out to the manager her response was eww. But she was kind enough not to charge us for the dish and the iced tea they didn't have. In short, I have no reason to return but hate to see another restaurant fail in this location. We disliked won't be going back ! Our food was cold , I had fajitas they gave me two soft shells I guess after trimming all the fat and gristle that is all I needed ! My fiancé had steak on a stone extremely fatty and gristly had the appetizer, chips and three different sauces which salsa tasted leftover was chilled and watery , cheese sauce,& guacamole was not good ! read more

This was the worst meal I've ever had from the appetizer to the entree and everything in between. Spent 95 bucks. Yuck it was gross.

Unfortunately the menu is much better on paper than on plates. The crab fondito dip was cold and there was not an ounce of chorizo in it. The fries were cold. The soup, hot however, thicker than the dip. Our waitress, very nice, had enough perfume on to kill everyone's taste buds. And the ambience, yikes, cafeteria anyone? read more

The food was very disappointing and subpar. Two of our group had tacos, which were listed on the menu as three tacos with sauteed vegetables (peppers, squash and corn). Only 2 tacos were on each plate with watery sauteed squash; no other veggies on either plate. When we asked our waiter about the missing tacos, he said they had to use larger tortillas because they had no shells but they "put in more of the filling." Each of the tacos had only about 2 Tbsp of filling; we were told that "the extra" (!!) filling made up for the missing taco! When the manager arrived and asked how our meal was, we were not rude but honest. My husband inquired about the issue with the tacos, she took it personally and retorted, "Do you want to come back and see what I have in my kitchen?" When the wedge salad that our friend had ordered, my friend and I noted that it looked as if it had been frozen and thawed. The manager then said they never freeze their lettuce. Well, no one in the history of meal prep would ever do that! She missed the point that it was soggy and inedible. I didn't expect her to be argumentative; I thought she was being genuine when she asked about our meal. The final insult: Our friends were given a 50% discount on their bill because their meals were horrible. However, the bills were tallied incorrectly and had to be re-done. On their final bill, the discount was removed! They were now "unable" to give them the discount. If this visit was indicative of what they have to offer, there are many other dining opportunities within a mile or two of this place, many of which provide delicious food and good customer service. I normally go easy on new restaurants but this was a awfully painful meal and overall experience. The service was horrible, it took forever to get our initial drinks and even longer to get refills. The appetizers were subpar after waiting almost 40mins, the main course took even longer and was delivered at different times for our party of six. Special requests for the main course were ignored, and when we questioned the server they were hardly fulfilled. There were unattended children running around the restaurant that we believe were those of the servers. The ambiance and decore was underwhelming at best. This restaurant has a long way to go, I would have given more stars if it was located in Tijuana. read more
