Average is a good word for this place. Their menu is gigantic and they don't seem to have a handle on exactly what they specialize in. The apps we got were ok, and my partner's fish was good. I got the crab cakes and was kinda underwhelmed. They have a giant beer selection so that's definitely a plus. So coming back for the bar is definitely an option. Tara, the manager is just plain rude. I questioned the size of a glass of wine that I ordered. And all she told me is "that's our policy". I don't care what other bars serve we only serve 6 ounces. I've been going to Z-Pub for a number of years somewhere along the way they reduced the size of the drinks or the alcohol in the drinks. I used to get a Red Stagg Manhattan every Friday night and the last couple that I got we were so weak, I might as well been drinking and plain water. I guess HAFFY HOUR MEANS HAFFY DRINKS ALSO! I wanted to update to say that like some other reviewers mentioned, Zpub dipped but they have rebounded in a great way. We've also ordered takeout and been really impressed with everything. Their steak and chicken salad is a typical winner-dinner for our house. Another regular request is their kids pasta meal which has yet to let us down. A great place for food and drinks in Beaver County. We had a great dinner on a very crowded Saturday night in December. The only thing lacking is the layout of the restaurant. If you are by the bar, everywhere else makes you feel all by yourself in a big room. I had a chicken chipotle sandwich and my husband had a grilled cheese French dip. We both loved our sandwiches and the fries are always amazing! Our waitress also was so so good. read more

What a cluster...first I ordered a water with no lemon. Well, it came with lemon. No big deal. My side salad came but we had no silverware. Not thirty seconds later my entree arrived, still no silverware. I didn't have a chance eat my salad before my meal. I asked if they had olive oil for my salad and was very clear I wanted olive oil and not any other type of oil. She assured me it was, but guess what, of course it wasn't. Eventually I asked for a box to go. She delivered it with my check on top. No thank you, hope everything was okay, thanks for coming etc. Help these days is hard to find I guess but horrible service is not acceptable. My tips are reflecting this. No more automatic 20%! I definitely recommend the Picka Dippa appetizer. My friend and I shared the pitta bread and buffalo chicken dip. I ordered the BLT - very fresh, and the bread was perfect (not overly seasoned or covered in buttered). Same could be said for my friends sandwich, the French Onion Grilled Cheese. Our server was an absolute angel. Very attentive. The restaurant can be very dark inside, especially when you sit further back near the kitchen. However, the overall experience was great. The 10-oz. ribeye was cooked to perfection at medium +1. I would have order dessert but literally had no room. The service was great and the server was friendly and quick. I have frequented Z pub since they opened. I had an experience tonight. That makes me say I will not go back. A selection I often order on their menu is steak, cakes, and spuds. This is steak tips, crabcakes, and potatoes. When I received them, unlike anytime before, the crabcakes were very spicy. I brought it to the attention of my server and waited a long time before I had to call her back over to the table again when she offered to get me something else. I agreed to a salad, but that certainly isn't comparable to crabcakes. The price of the meal was $17.99. When the server came back to give us our bill, I brought to her attention that I felt some adjustment should be made to my bill. She took it to the manager, Tara, who eventually came over to our table. I asked if there could be an adjustment made to my bill, she was very rude, took my bill and adjusted it by three dollars. She didn't come back to the table herself, but sent the minimally adjusted bill with the server. I paid the bill and left the server an appropriate tip, but I do not ever intend to return to Z Pub! read more

1st off, this review has nothing to do with the food. We have always had good food, and exceptional service from wait staff. I wasn't going to write this review, but after seeing others having an issue with Tara the manager, I knew we weren't the only ones with a complaint about her. We used to frequent Z-pub almost every single Friday. We hardly go anymore. We have witnessed her belittling some of the wait staff in front of everyone. (Not very professional). There was a problem with our check, she came over to our table,rolled her eyes and was extremely snooty. She doesn't know how to talk customers or the staff. Nepotism is going to lose the owner a lot of business. I have a lot of friends that feel the same way. read more

This place is pretty good. Sometimes the decor and ambience can be a little dated. But, there is always local games on and people having a good time. Foodwise, I really like their food. I have recently got the melts which is almost like a savory fry dough with toppings. Zucchini fries are also a must as they are more zucchini than batter and taste great in ranch. Salads are good with green lettuce (not iceberg that has browned) and have more toppings than just tomatoes. Prices are fair. Once inside the atmosphere around was awesome . People were smiling and the front lady greeted me with a smile and asked if I was dining in. I said no but wanted to order the stood to go. She took my order right away and told me the order would be completed in 30 mins. I came back and again a smile and she got my order right away. Really great service and very friendly. The food looked good. But believe me when I say this it was the best burger I have ever had. And the price was around 8- 9 dollars. And it was not a thin patty but a thick burger with plenty of flavor and on a Kaiser roll. All the ingredients were fresh the tomatoes and it fit the burger perfectly the pickles . Why do restaurants always short you something when you get take out? Ordered three meals. One of them was a meatloaf dinner and they shorted the mashed potatoes. While this is normally a good meal from them, it was ruined by leaving out the mashed potatoes. I was looking forward to that combination. We've been going to ZPub since they opened. While we normally love it, their take out has become pathetic. Every, single time we get take out/pick up, the order is messed up and/or the food is crap. This time, the Philly Cheesesteak (Chippewa Cheesesteak) was pretty much all bun and no meat/cheese/peppers and onions. The person who takes the order on the phone also has no clue when taking orders and it has to be repeated several times. The wife and I frequent this restaurant usually twice a week as it is one of our favorites. Last night 1/7/2025, at roughly 5:30 pm, was our first visit of the New Year, and frankly I was disappointed with the experience. We have observed that the service we receive on Mondays and Tuesdays is slower, and the staff not as attentive. Upon arrival we were seated in the back and the wife and I noticed that the Tuesday crowd was thin with maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of the seats filled. Our server brought our drinks and took out orders. The wife ordered soup and a salad, I chose the breakfast steak and eggs. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. While waiting, we observed Door Dash orders flying out the door. After waiting 25 minutes, my wife's soup came out. I flagged our server over and asked where our food was, she said she'd check, but she thought the Door Dash orders were being sent out first. I reflected that while important to fill, Door Dashes should wait until the seated, physical customers were served. 30 minutes from seat time our order was finally served. My food was barely warm. According to my wife, her salad was fine, but quipped how hard is it to plate a salad and bring it out within 5-10 minutes? The server came by to refill our drinks and I asked to see the manager. The server seemed upset by that request and stated that "TARA" was bartending/Manager for the night and she would ask her to come by. After another 10 minutes, TARA finally arrived table side. I explained how long we waited for food once ordered and stated I observed many Door Dashes going out the door before seated customers being served. Her response was in a snarky tone of voice with a condescending smile, "Door Dashes have a separate ordering system and cook to fill those orders". My response was, "Well, maybe you should "manage" the kitchen better that if the orders get behind for seated customers, you take care of them first?" Of course TARA wasn't happy with that and asked " Is that all?" No further explanation, no promise to do better, and most importantly, no apology for her frankly, quite crappy attitude. I remarked as she was walking away that I guess I would have to speak to the owner about the experience and her snarky remark was that "Oh, he's my brother. I'll make sure I tell him about your wait time when I speak to him." I stated, "Get him on the phone, I'll talk to him right now", TARA just walked away back to the bar. No apology, no bill adjust, nothing. Now if the owners reads this, and I hope he does, go speak to Betty or Dugan and ask what kind of customers Al and Dawn are. How we tip for great service, and how much we frequent the establishment. TARA at best, is a crappy bartender. She is NOT manager material. In the future, if I were the owner, I wouldn't want TARA to manage the clean up of the bathrooms, much less the entire establishment. read more

I've only been here for Breakfast. Solid diner food for Breakfast. I really enjoyed the French toast. There was no wait on a Saturday at 12:30 for a booth for a party of 2. The seats at the bar were full. There are televisions tuned in to sports. We could easily hear one another across the table. A very casual atmosphere. The server, Aaliyah provided great service!
