    Turkey dinner $11.99, not $7.99!
    Sandy W.

I was very disappointed with my meal today at Bob Evans. I ordered the Thanksgiving dinner, which I thought was $7.99 from a email I received from them. That's what I told the server. My meal came and everything tasted weird. I couldn't describe what was wrong with the carrots, just the taste was not good. The stuffing had little pieces of something that wasn't identifiable and was okay. The turkey was paper thin cut and dry. Mash potatoes okay only because of the gravy. Service was good. However I was charged $11.99 for my meal. I said something to the cashier and she stated since I got two sides I didn't get the special for $7.99. It wasn't worth arguing over what I said to the server when I ordered my meal so I paid it and left ( most of the meal wasn't eaten). This was not a good experience!

The food is ok. Average fair. Standard Bob Evans, but twice when we ordered for pick up we found that the portions were off on the food we ordered. Tip, never order hash browns because you get less than a child's portion. The food was fine just feel cheated for what we paid. Probably the last time we eat there. Picture explains my disappointment.

Been going here since I was a kid. You can't go wrong with this place when you need a nice wholesome meal. This day I stopped in and picked up breakfast to take home. Their family meal is very big portion and tasty. After you have this you will not have an empty stomach. It was very very good.

Cheese burger and missing fries , with a side of onion stump.

I went in to order takeout. Ordered a cheese burger, FF and coleslaw on the side. As I was going to my seat to wait, the cashier apologized to the customer behind me for the wait. What wait? Ok but I digress. I get home and this is what I got, a child's portion of FF and the end of an onion. I cut the burger in half I stopped going to the BE in Groveport because of poor service and a decline in food. I guess I need to break up with Bob all together

I obviously don't blame the waitress for burning the bacon, I blame her for allowing it to be served.

Brought the family here on a Sunday morning before the church rush. We were seated immediately, but that's about as good as it got. The waitress got our drink orders wrong and our coffee cups sat empty for 15 minutes. They were promoting their prime rib breakfast, so that's what my wife and I ordered. They came back 30 MINUTES LATER let us know that they didn't have enough prime rib for both of us to order the breakfast, so they said we could split the prime rib that they had into two omlets instead. After waiting an hour for our meal, they brought out the most burnt piece of bacon that I'd ever seen (pictured). When the waitress finally refilled our coffee, she dumped coffee onto our biscuits (which I can understand was an accident), but she didn't even acknowledge it and walked away. It turned out to be a good thing she ruined our biscuits though, because as I cleaned up her mess, I found a hair on the plate. Overall, it was just one frustration after another, the manager was nowhere to be seen, and we cancelled our plans to come back here for Christmas and likely ever again. P.s. they freaking took crepes off the menu! Wtf?!

This is how my food came out

I ordered cribside pickup for 12:29pm. I arrived there around 12:30 they advised my food was not done yet. I said ok im going to leave and get coffee and come back. Got back and food still wasn't done. Didn't get food until after 1pm. Only for it to come out like this. Called in and got fasted talk off the phone twice by the same girl. So I decided to make a review. Do better Bob evens

Then we waited for 20 minutes. We didn't even get menus. Two tables were seated after us and were already ordering when we decided to give up and try another place. I don't like assuming people are prejudiced. I want to believe our server just happened to overlook the one table of brown people because they're a teenage girl going through a hard time. So that's what I choose to believe. I just hope the place shapes up, because someone else might not have taken it as well as we did. On the bright side, the staff seemed friendly (when we left, two servers near the entrance told us to have a nice day) and the dishes at the tables around us looked really good. I hope to come back and successfully try that chicken noodle soup someday

I'm not going to completely bash, because for one this place is hip, no question. This place is clean, the restrooms were very clean, and that is something unfortunately some establishments struggle with. The service was great, very friendly and very prompt. What got me is the prices set for these little sliders. Ouch! I'm not going to place the prices on here but c'mon, give us some slack on the price gouging. This is a huge deterrent for me, snd almost makes the food taste a certain way, even knowing it may me a 2 star Michelin chef in the back grill. Again the price is what threw me for a negative loop, was it bad, no. Was this overpriced like most bar n grills, well absolutely it is! Can we go back to the red plastic cup prices that we grew up with back in the day. Sorry, I'm being nostalgic.

I thought that I would give it a shot again, but the food was just as disappointing as my first try. The service is great though! Everyone seems to be friendly and kind! We stopped by around 10 AM today (Saturday). Every table was full (so clearly others do like the food/service). My husband and I started off with a cup of coffee while our daughter got a glass of chocolate milk. The coffee was watery and bland (although they have a sign up front about having the world's best coffee). Be prepared to wait a while for your food. It took almost 45 minutes for us to get ours; however, it was understandable considering every table was full! For food, my daughter got the cinnamon roll. She absolutely loved it! She said that it was super soft and ooey-gooey! My husband ordered the steak and eggs. He ordered the steak medium, but it came out very well-done (super chewy). I tried his home fries with his side of bacon and both of those were good! My daughter enjoyed the bacon too! I had the biscuits and gravy and a side of "cheesy" scrambled eggs. A big no to both! The biscuits were undercooked and the gravy just tasted like a large clump of flour! The "cheesy" scrambled eggs were tough scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese sprinkled on the top! While the food was not "it" for me, there are other things that I do enjoy about Canal Wigwam! It's a cute little diner located in the center of our comforting and cozy town! They promote many other local businesses through their "decor" - the dining tables are designed with local businesses flyers/contact information, their coffee mugs promote another local business, etc. Again, I really want to like the food here, but for some reason - my taste buds do not agree!
