It was a holiday so they were quite busy. The staff was working together perfectly to make the most of the experience for the guests. The Crab cake was perfectly cooked and on top of a crisp English muffin with a tender poached egg on topp. The hash browns were buttery and warm. Came here with some friends thanks to yelp reviews steering me in this direction. Was impressed with the service and the price of the food as it was affordable and still a quality meal. My friends had the uncle moose man handler which I tried and thought was good. Personally I had the biscuits and gravy with egg meal. I had a blueberry muffin as well on the side just to try it which was delicious and fresh tasting! The meal for me was like $16 for meal, muffin, and coffee. My friends spend like $12 for coffee and a meal. Wait to be seated wasn't long. Only complaint is semi weak coffee. This is a nice Scramblers. There can sometimes be a wait so plan ahead. It is very clean on the inside and the staff is nice. I had the Mini Westgate Skillet($9.99) with sourdough toast. Wife and I had breakfast here recently. Wife had the all American classic, with over easy eggs, bacon, and two pancakes. I had the south of the border omelet and a side of hash brows, loaded with sour cream, cheese etc. Plus some 9 grain bread and hot tea (which was warm tea). Wife enjoyed hers. Had a great experience this mid morning for brunch time meal. Went in right near 11a.m. it was busy but we were luckily seated right away. It got super busy right after we were seated. Our server Alyssa was amazing. Super friendly, gave recommendations and gave us an extra minute as we had two kids with us that were not quite ready to order. We had breakfast skillets, one modified, one not and two kids lunch items. They all came out at the same time, hot and fresh. We did order one pancake to split. We hadn't read the menu correctly and it came with nuts and berries on it, so we ordered a second with none on it and Alyssa brought it right away with no issues. My food was too big, had to take half home with me. Other staff stepped to bring food, to clear plates, bring water, ask if all was o.k. Great for efficiency and how they can get folks in and out of this place smoothly. Restrooms are clean, restaurant is clean. We will be back. read more

This place is sooooooo inconsistent. I've eaten in and it was really good, but I've had other times that it was just okay. I got take out today and it was DISGUSTING!!! Eating inside Scrambler Marie is like eating in the kitchen of any Midwest middle class kitchen. And this should come as no surprise because Scramble Marie is Ohio born and raised. The soft yellows with the dark wood finish in the dining room reminds me of a model home, designed to relax and welcome you. There's something quaint and charming about Scramble Marie. Maybe it's the story told on every menu, this is a family place through and through. All the menu items tell different stories about the family, with Molly Marie offering up bottomless pancakes (!), Heidi Marie's Omelette's and Uncle Moose's "Manhandler" skillet. My favorite slice of Americana comes from the "Mike's All American Breakfast" menu. I swallowed my pride and ordered "The Patriot Biscuits & Gravy". And then I swallowed some delicious biscuits and gravy! So I've been in twice now, probably about time to jot down some words and do an actual review. To start off, I know the star rating says two thumbs up, but my comments for their hostess' is two thumbs down. On both of my visits the young ladies at the hostess stands have been less than inviting and generally cold. They almost seem annoyed that they need to work and show me to a table. I'm not factoring that into my star rating as this accounts for minimal time impact on my overall stay. But hey, FYI. Onto the meal. Both times I've visited primarily for breakfast, I'm not really sure how they are for lunch so keep that in mind. On my first visit I had the pancakes which are god awful huge. Holy breakfast cakes batman, don't order many unless you have formally trained your stomach to eat insane quantities of food! Overall flavor is good, very rich, light and fluffy. For my second visit I had the french toast. This is a sour dough bread dipped in their home mixture of batter. The batter is fairly thick so it doesn't saturate the bread. I typically shy away from the sour dough, I usually prefer a lighter bread with a faint hint of sweet. The sour dough isn't over the top and really works well with the batter. The bacon and hash browns I had on both visits. The bacon is....well, I've had better. It's not super crisp and I would describe as "soggy". Some people prefer it this way, I like mine crisp so I wasn't a big fan. Still ate it because who turns down bacon? I'm human, not dead. Sheesh! The hash browns were good on both occasion. Very buttery and soft with the right amount of crispness. They were very tasty. Our server was very speedy and super nice. She also stayed right on top of our drink refills and didn't let us wait a crazy long time for our check, I appreciate that. Would I recommend? Yes, two forks up. read more

I had a overnight layover in Columbus, Ohio and stayed with friends. Thursday morning, my cousin suggested that we come to Scramblers for breakfast. Boy did she pick a winner! I ordered the Awesome Avocado omelette, which was filling and delicious. This omelette came stuffed with ripe avocado, lean bacon, bell pepper, a blend Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses and topped with sour cream and chives. The sour cream was a fresh take on garnishment. The combination of bacon and avocado paired well. The entire omelette was seasoned perfectly...however, I did add a bit more pepper to it. Add a bottomless cup of coffee, toasted English muffin and perfectly seasoned home fries and you have yourself a winning combination! If I ever get back to Reynoldsburg, I'll definitely frequent this place again. read more

Always have good food here. Be careful on weekend mornings after 9 - it gets BUSY! I've liked everything I've tried here. The rocky-top toast is great and will fill you up (bottomless French toast and pancakes, but you may not need it). Get your hash browns crispy - I believe they cook in butter! Solid choice for breakfast; though it is a chain and I'm not all that fond of chains for breakfast especially, they do have some things worth going for. Besides the usual breakfast fare, crepes and quiches are very good. Today I had the Harvest Benedict with portobello mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes, delicious! The service was lacking I thought, and the locale (it's a unit or two in a strip mall) pretty unexciting, complete with a lot of bare wall space. This was my first time trying the Reynoldsburg location as I usually frequent the one in Pickerington. With it being New Year's Day, the crowd was large but I was seated with no wait. The place is much larger on the inside and the entire staff was very helpful, regardless to who my actual server was. My breakfast partner ordered the Quiche and I ordered the Portabella and Swiss Angus Burger. Her side was the Fruit while I ordered the Hash Browns with my Angus Burger. . Our server was good, but not great, still, she filled out our needs in a timely manner and was friendly. Our order came in about 10 minutes, so that was good, too. . My friend complained tht heer quiche was more like an open-faced omelette than a quiche and bordering on something you'd get from McDonalds, with a perfectly formed egg circle and a garnish of various "fillings". I might have high expectations for my Burger, too - but it had words like "Portabella" and "Angus" in the title, so I should've had high expectations. . However, the Burger was completely unsatisfactory. The bun was pre-packaged and not toasted or even warmed The burger was cooked medium well, ( I was not asked for a cooking temperature) and was dry and tasteless. The only glimmer of sunshine from both our plates were my Hash Browns. They were buttery and crisp, with the slight remnants of potatoey goodness underneath. Our bill came to 19 dollar, and that's only with 2 entrees and one soda. A little on the high side, and given the low quality of most of our food, not worth it. I cannot think I'd give this place a second chance - even for Scambled Eggs and more Hash Browns. This has all the expectation of First Watch with the quality of a poorly run Hardee's. However, there's no way I can give it a 1Star Rating, because there were things (Hash Browns and Happy Staff) that worked very well. Maybe I will give it another chance after all, but certainly no time soon.. read more

I have been here a few times with my family and I always try something new because it's all good. I recommend the avocado omelette (awesome avocado) and the dishes they have with quinoa are also good. My dad always gets the Caitlin's choice quinoa. I have also had the harvest benny which was good and also the westgate skillet. If you try any of those, I think you will be happy, but I'm sure their other items are also great. I must say it will never beat Bob Evans as my choice for breakfast but it's nice to have a large variety-which they do have. Love almonds in my pancakes and hot granola is a healthier choice for me when I am seemingly conscious of what I put in my mouth, which is more often that not. They usually have really good specials every morning which makes decision making even more difficult. The only draw back is this place's popularity. On a Saturday or Sunday morning it is guaranteed to be crowded. The wait can vary from 5 minutes to 35 minutes. I am not a patient man so when it hits more than 15 minutes I usually leave. The service is really good here considering how busy they all are. They always find the time to make sure your coffee thermos is still full and to see if everything is satisfactory without making you feel rushed or sending the message that they want you to clear out so they can have your table. read more
