American eggs scrambled with cheese extra crispy hash browns and amazing bacon!!!!
    Sara C.

I got the American scrambled eggs with cheese, hashbrowns, extra crispy, and the most amazing bacon. One of my favorite breakfast place now.

The server greeted us when we arrived. Everyone was so kind and the service was wonderful. I ordered the western omelette with sausage instead of ham. It was cheesy with fresh veggies. My husband ordered the chili omelette and I ordered wrong. The chili omelette was a wonderful blend of chili, sour cream, cheese! It was the perfect omelette to start the day.

It was a holiday so they were quite busy. The staff was working together perfectly to make the most of the experience for the guests. The Crab cake was perfectly cooked and on top of a crisp English muffin with a tender poached egg on topp. The hash browns were buttery and warm. The option of gravy on the side helped to pace the meal for the scramble dish. A wonderful morning out.

Came here with some friends thanks to yelp reviews steering me in this direction. Was impressed with the service and the price of the food as it was affordable and still a quality meal. My friends had the uncle moose man handler which I tried and thought was good. Personally I had the biscuits and gravy with egg meal. I had a blueberry muffin as well on the side just to try it which was delicious and fresh tasting! The meal for me was like $16 for meal, muffin, and coffee. My friends spend like $12 for coffee and a meal. Wait to be seated wasn't long. Only complaint is semi weak coffee. Drank like 4+ cups and barely got a caffeine buzz lol but other than that it was a place I'd definitely try again. Was visiting from California and this is a spot I would recommend

This is a nice Scramblers. There can sometimes be a wait so plan ahead. It is very clean on the inside and the staff is nice. I had the Mini Westgate Skillet($9.99) with sourdough toast. It was delicious! The food was great, the service was great and so was the atmosphere. I highly recommend you give this location a try!

South of the border omlette plus loaded hash browns

Wife and I had breakfast here recently. Wife had the all American classic, with over easy eggs, bacon, and two pancakes. I had the south of the border omelet and a side of hash brows, loaded with sour cream, cheese etc. Plus some 9 grain bread and hot tea (which was warm tea). Wife enjoyed hers. Mine was okay but seemed a little overly buttery? Was not really spicy as I had hoped. But I ate it all. I usually order the corner beef hash here, and it is always fine. I just might have been over expecting. But the breakfast was good enough that I finished almost all of it.

Great location for brunch time food!!!

Had a great experience this mid morning for brunch time meal. Went in right near 11a.m. it was busy but we were luckily seated right away. It got super busy right after we were seated. Our server Alyssa was amazing. Super friendly, gave recommendations and gave us an extra minute as we had two kids with us that were not quite ready to order. We had breakfast skillets, one modified, one not and two kids lunch items. They all came out at the same time, hot and fresh. We did order one pancake to split. We hadn't read the menu correctly and it came with nuts and berries on it, so we ordered a second with none on it and Alyssa brought it right away with no issues. My food was too big, had to take half home with me. Other staff stepped to bring food, to clear plates, bring water, ask if all was o.k. Great for efficiency and how they can get folks in and out of this place smoothly. Restrooms are clean, restaurant is clean. We will be back.

Avocado omlette with loaded hash browns and English muffin. Great!

I definitly still recommend winking lizard for a good American sports bar meal. Service is always great too and their seasonal items are always really good! I did notice a couple of things, and I don't know if this is a trend or a 1-off. The blue cheese sauce was super thin, the wing sauce was also thin and would not stick/coat the wings, and the draft beer menu seems MUCH smaller that I remember. All FWIW.

Stopped into Winking Lizard on Monday night with some friends to check out their Monday Wing Night…read more Bone-in wings are $0.90 each and boneless are $0.85, ordered in increments of five, which is a nice setup if you want to mix flavors. I went with 5 Bourbon Barrel wings and 5 Spicy Garlic, both bone-in. The Bourbon Barrel wings leaned sweet with a light bourbon note. Flavor was decent, but they were pretty light on sauce and didn't have much crisp for being fried -- honestly, they almost tasted baked. The wings also weren't very tender, and I had to work a bit to get the meat off the bone. And yes, I know some people would say "just get boneless," but I'm a bone-in guy -- the bone adds flavor, and boneless wings are usually more breading than chicken anyway. The Spicy Garlic had a nice kick and solid flavor, but unfortunately had the same texture issues as the Bourbon Barrel wings -- not crispy and not very tender. I also ordered blue cheese and celery. It was fine, but nothing special. The blue cheese flavor was pretty muted and didn't have that bold, tangy punch I usually look for. On the plus side, the steak fries were cooked correctly and did their job. One highlight was their Mardi Gras menu. We tried the beignets with bourbon maple glaze, and those were a pleasant surprise. They came out piping hot, dusted with powdered sugar, and while they're not a traditional beignet, the flavor was really good and easily the most memorable part of the meal. So was the experience great? I'd say it was good. The food was fine, serviceable, but not especially memorable. Would I come back? Probably -- just maybe not for the wings next time. But, let me add. We had Jordan as our server and he was a great server. He did an outstanding job!

So after a quick Yelp search of lunch near me, the first hit was Olde Towne Cafe and Inn which had five stars. I decided to check it out. I have to say I drove right past it! I was expecting for something a bit more store-fronty this really looks like a house and I missed their signage. I turned around on Rail Street... got distracted at Porters but within five minutes was back on track to Olde Towne. They have a small parking lot which had a space, so I eagerly parked and popped i side. It is super cute. Very farm house-ish. Definitely a old house converted i to a bed and breakfast with most of the downstairs rooms dining. The kitchen can be seen from the room I sat in. It looked very clean and organized. I browsed the menu and decided on pancakes. They are served with bacon or sausage.... Im not a huge meat eater so I chose bacon and crumbled up on the pancake.... Ended up pushing it off the pancake and not eating it. Not their fault. Bacon is fine but Im just liking bacon less and less. Today was a no bacon day. Lol. However the pancakes! Wowzers. Huge. Fluffy. i got two that were each almost as big as the oblong platter they were served on. I couldnt finish all of it. They were delicious. I see why people give this place a good rating. The staff was welcoming and make you feel at home. Its just a good old fashioned breakfast/lunch spot. Not bougie at all... which to me is a plus "not" to be bougie. Sometimes you just need a place that feels like home. This is that place.
