When I check my bread with my main course of an omelet which was actually amazing I find my banana bread molded.

The food was amazing until I saw mold on my banana nut bread . It disgusted me and makes me want to stop ordering here .

Food was great, I wasn't a fan of the pancakes or French toast but everything else was good. Service was quick and accurate. Our waitress was awesome.

This was GOOD!

New Menu Items!! Protein bowls are now on the menu!! I thoroughly enjoyed the Avocado Veggie Bowl-- green and red peppers, onion, corn, black beans, sweet potatoes, cheese, tomato, topped with egg of your choice. This was delicious!!

Bob Evans is one of my favorite breakfast place! I love the fact that they have a good bit of breakfast selection. I always go for Farmer's Choice where you get a choice of meat, two eggs, hash brown and buttermilk pancakes which you can upgrade if you want. Service is always good. Servers are nice and always make sure we got our orders right, always check on us to refill our coffee and bring us whatever we need in our table. We'll keep on coming back!

It's fine. What can you expect. The only complaint is that the staff yell to each other like no one is in the restaurant.

Dining area & restrooms are bright, clean and inviting. My brother ordered fried fish with a chicken wing,, cabbage and sweet potatoes. He loved the fish & chicken- well seasoned without feeling your blood pressure rise as you indulged- LOL. The sides were good. I did the smothered porkchops - WOW, best that I have had - really enjoyed the main entrée and my sides (greens, black-eye peas). Both meals came with cornbread (another option was a biscuit). I have to say the food, the Staff and the establishment has been my best taste of southern cooking in the DMV area. I ordered chicken wings (6) to go for wife & I to enjoy later. Definitely worth a visit, we will be back - The smothered chops are calling me already. Lunch for two with a take home order of wings & 2 deserts plus tip was around $100.

The fish (catfish and croaker) always tastes like it's been fried in grease that needs changing. There's no flavor profile in the food which is weird for a soul-food restaurant. The mixed veggies were absolutely disgusting-- gave them back. I paid $65 for fried catfish with two sides, fried croaker with two sides, a cookie and two drinks---and sadly, the only thing that was sort of worth it was the cornbread, but it tastes like it has coconut in it. I hate coconut. The item that was the most flavorful for me was the black eyed peas/hoppin John (minus the big pieces of fatty meat in them).

We arrived around 3:30 on a Saturday for a late lunch. We were seated immediately and had a very friendly and attentive server, Farah. I ordered the watermelon margarita which came with a cute note attached. We dug into the old bay wings before I remembered to take a picture. They were good and flavorful. I ordered the salmon BLTA. It was okay - not a lot of flavor, but the proportion of bread to salmon definitely didn't match up. I ended up leaving a good portion of bread on my plate. My husband had the fish and chips. Talk about a huge portion- his fish was huge! He said it was good though. My only serious complaint was that the first stall I went to in the ladies room had a broken lock on the door. That's concerning. Fortunately there was a second stall. Hopefully they get that door lock fixed soon though!

The steak was tender, the eggs were cooked just right, and the chimichurri brought a fresh, herby brightness that balanced the richness of the dish. The feta added a nice salty finish that pulled everything together. If I had one small note, the potatoes could have been cooked a little more for a crisper texture, but it didn't take away from the flavor of the dish at all. The overall taste was still very strong, and the components worked really well together. The pancake was another highlight. Huge, fluffy, and beautifully browned, with chocolate chips throughout and just enough sweetness to make it feel indulgent without going overboard. Simple, classic, and very well done. Service made the experience even better. Bria was personable, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. She kept everything moving smoothly and added to the welcoming feel of the visit. Overall, a very solid brunch experience with flavorful food, strong portions, and great service. I'd absolutely come back, and I'd order the Chimichurri Steak and Eggs Hash again.

No long waits to be seated or for a waiter to come and assist you. The ambiance is like any other sports bar/pub. TV's all around for sports and a long bar. towards the bar there's additional long/high chair tables to continue happy hour fellowship or group gatherings. (wish i had pics, can't find them!) I ordered the margarita flight and i asked for LALO tequila in all of the drinks. All of them were pretty interesting. I didn't really like the blood orange margarita, but the others were cool. I decided to order a ribeye steak (never had it before at BJ's decided to step out of my norm) As did my Bf. I was a little disappointed when received our food because our steaks were different shapes/thickness, too salty & not properly cooked to our preferred doneness. We brought this up to our waitress and asked for the Head Chef to re-make the steaks. She apologized and sent it back. In the interim, we enjoyed hot honey wings & you can never go wrong with the wings! no complaints, always a solid choice. The kitchen brought us both fresh steaks, and asked us was it cooked to our liking. The ribeyes looked like ribeyes, and rather than less seasoning, it tasted like there wasn't any seasoning at all. It was better than before but not 100%. However we agreed to avoid feeling like we are complaining too much. We continued our meal, paid, tipped & left. This felt like an honest accident as this location was fairly busy due to graduation season in the area. I also felt like I couldn't expect steakhouse quality from a tavern-styled restaurant. Moreover, it's BJ's food is good for what you get. I do enjoy BJ's, I do enjoy sticking to the food I know from there, and will see myself visiting again.

Come to enjoy your time. Now let's talk food. I ordered the steak, and it did not disappoint--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. But the real surprise? That biscuit and butter. Listen... I could've made a whole meal out of that alone. And the mimosas? Nice and light--exactly how our group likes them. I didn't get the oxtail and grits, but I didn't need to. One look across the table told me everything I needed to know--full-on bowl-to-the-chin action. If you know, you know.
