This place needs to be closed. Seriously. Went tonight. My plate of food sat in the window for 8 minutes. Yes, I timed it. They were waiting for my husbands hash browns so mine sat. By the time we got our food mine was of course cold. Asked to see a manager. Phillip told us he would remake our meal and we didn't have to be nasty about it. Are you kidding me?! If your looking for a long wait, sub par food and service and gross menus that you'll need to wash your hands after touching then YOU'VE FOUND YOUR PLACE!!! This Bob Evans is nestled in along busy Arlington road which is sometimes quite busy so you will need to fight through traffic to get to this below average place to eat. Also I would not recommend this place if you have small children. The slings and booster seats are dirty and the safety straps are broken on most of them. read more

I didn't get my biscuits until after I was done eating my dinner after I asked her for them when she dropped my food off initially... food was mediocre at best. I won't be back. read more

This Bob Evans has a local negative reputation. Well, the hash browns were cold, the eggs were overcooked, the coffee was old. My general assessment is that this restaurant is currently taking the path of least resistance. The service was good though. read more

I ordered two quarts of Chicken Noodle Soup, first they said 20 mins., then 5 mins., I arrived to pick it up and was told they were out. That's what they should of told me before I drove all the way there to get it. I didn't want to leave one star !! read more

Please do not discount the negative reviews. I tried them again today and got the same sub par food and the service was marginally better. I am being generous with the word "marginally'. If you want to leave hungry, this is the place for you. Maybe just order double. My eggs must have came from robins or sparrows since they were so small. My biscuits were hard this time. For the price points on several menu items especially ala carte items were too high. The service is not consistent. Try some other places on Arlington Rd, avoid this place. read more

Not bad. In a pinch, it will do but not a go out of my way breakfast location. Meet one of my wife's friends so she was happy with the company. Neither of us that happy about the food. I have no idea where they found eggs that small. The biscuits had a sheen on the top of them you would think was butter,m but it added nothing to the flavor. I have order chicken salad and fruit plate to go . I Waited for awhile when there was 4 people up by me ( they were not buzy) before someone else came got my order which was filled. I seen it up on counter( not cold) some of the fruit taste like it was mildew. I have been coming to this Bob Evan for years always had great food until they sold it. I'm not sure what going going with them but hope they get it together! They are taking corners and making ther food quality bad. I only have them 2 stars because one e I came in there sat at a table they mess up my food waited one hr. The manger came over said he didnt know what to do they had all new help. It pains me to have to write this review. I used to visit this location semi-frequently over the years and my past experiences were always positive. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case recently. My order: The Farmer's Choice. I chose my eggs sunny-side up, a blueberry crêpe, hashbrowns, sausage links with an extra side order of links, and a hot chocolate. Of course, the hot chocolate arrives first. I take a sip and notice, almost immediately, what looks like a piece of lettuce between my lips. Confused, I take it out, inspect the hot chocolate, and come to the conclusion that maybe the spoon I used to eat the whip cream was unclean. Cautiously, I sip again, using my teeth as a barrier to detect any more stray items in my beverage. This time, the same thing happens. I notice another, unknown object in my mouth. At this point, inform the server that something is wrong with my drink and that I need a new one. She takes it back, returns with a new beverage, and informs me that someone had left the previous cup inside of a can of coleslaw. I have mixed emotions at this point. On the one hand, I'm glad she told me what I had in my mouth. Maybe others would not be so inclined, but I'm the kind of person who likes to know the bad news first. On the other hand, how exactly does one accidentally put a cup inside a can of coleslaw? In the chain of events in the kitchen, multiple people would have had to miss this rather obvious error: the dish washer, who, one assumes, inspects each dish as he or she washes it, and the server, who would have to look at the cup while filling it. I was bewildered. My breakfast order arrives. As though a cup of hot chocolate coleslaw wasn't enough, one of my eggs looks it a little overcooked. Feeling adventurous for reasons I'll never quite understand, I took a bite only to find that the egg white had the texture of silly putty. The crêpe also was a little light on the fillings, but I ate it in an effort to salvage what was left of my utterly terrible breakfast. After informing me of the hot chocolate coleslaw mishap, I could hear my server speaking loudly to others in the kitchen, ostensibly to figure out who was responsible. While that's wonderful, one would think she would've offered not to charge me for the beverage and, perhaps, had the manager offer an apology. But there she was, making softball jokes about how it's good that it's Friday and pretending that nothing happened. In short, if you like a little bit of coleslaw with your hot chocolate, check this place out. Otherwise, make the short trip down South Arlington Road and go to IHOP, the Waffle House, or Denny's. My boyfriend and I were highly satisfied with our meals. We went for dinner and the wait was somewhat long, but we'll worth it! We both had breakfast meals, and they were great, especially his country fried steak. One of the best Bob Evans I've been to in regards to the meal, and service was ok too. Definitely improved since the remodeling of the menu. read more

Bob Evans does tend to be hit and miss but tends to solve poor food prep, inept spotty service and general poor experiences. This place seems to be the exception to the rule. Lately we've gone here three times for our generally good salads, chicken and burgers, oops!! I've never given a Bob Evans two stars but this one worked hard to have a bad management staff who must have a tv in the office and McDonalds as work experience. This team hires to put bodies where qualified cooks, waitresses and staff belong. Everyone of these they fire and replace will be an improvement as long as they start with management first!! The food and portions are sub quality but pass minimal standard that my dog would pass on eating but work only if you're really in need of food. If thirsty order two waters. These folks like ice is free and are filled with liquid gold. If you like a place where the fried chicken might chip a tooth, the fries are heat lamped to death and the salads have a serious shortage of not fresh lettuce then this is your place, I'm going somewhere else. read more

3/12/17 Went into the restaurant for dinner, was seated by the hostess, -15 min later no waitress, I found a waitress who liked at me and said " well it's not my section"!! I finally get a waitress who was upset as it was not her section. Chicken Fried steak was horrible with pool of grease under the steak and soggy, the bread had big gobs of butter in it and was not toasted. Service is horrible food is worse save your $$and go to McDonalds. read more

Bob evans used to be a good place to eat, but ithink they changed food companies because it just doesnt tast the same. And what I really dont like is the they just stare at me, I guess because im black. When I go look at the gift area they all start waching me ,like im gonna steal somthing, but if a white customer goes to the gift area theyll treat them diffrent. The food is terrible and so is the customer service. I used to like this restaurant and it has gone downhill. Me and my family didn't have much time to waste. The lady said she would be with us shortly and we waited over 20 minutes. I could understand if the place was busy but it wasn't. So anyways we seated ourselves. The lady took our order and we waited awhile and got our food. Everything was over cooked and cold. When I came out of the restaurant I was feeling sick. The waitress was really kind though. Not surprised with their current rating score, and I am sad to say that bc I love Bob Evans. Went in on a weekday morning, waited 20 mins for a table, ok no problem they were busy. When we got sat total party of four, we were greeted in about 3-5 mins, ok they were busy, got it. Server comes gets our drink order, brings drinks, and takes food order, then drops off check even before food ever arrives. that is weird to me bc are they rushing us? or do they know we are not ordering more food? or is that the end of the interaction with our server? Well I guess so, 20 mins later food arrives and I am missing part of my meal. Our server never, not once, checked up on us. nothing, nada. We ate our food and at pay counter I informed clerk I didn't receive all my food. She adjusted the bill, and that was it. Was not happy about this experience. Will I give them another try? yes, and then I will give an updated review, hopefully it will be 5 stars. read more

When you want some carry out fast for lunch they will get your order wrong every time. I avoid this place now.

I worked here for three months and it was absolutely horrible. Employees are treated like crap, busers make minimum wage and don't get tips after busting their ass all day hauling 45 pound tubs. The server's tips are taxed TWICE, and make almost nothing after an eight hour shift. It's no wonder everybody there hates their job. I was accused of stealing tips by waitresses on two different occasions and almost lost my job due to the false accusations. The mood there is very depressing, the food is overpriced and the restaurant is very dirty overall. If you treat your employees like crap, the food they make is going to taste like crap. We dined at this resturant on the evening of 1/25...I ordered a cup of soup $2.99 & a baked potato for $1.99...when I received the bill it was for a lunch combo for $6.99. I questioned the cashier, Dakota, and was told that it is set up by corporate this way & they can't change it. Therefore I actually overpaid by $2.01 & he didn't offer to adjust in any way and really had the "I don't care attitude". Last evening 2/1, we returned to the resturant & was told by Dakota that they were closing in 15 minutes at 7P, however he said they couldn't turn us away since it was their policy, so he reluctantly seated us. We had the same waitress as we did on our prior visit and she was great both times. When paying, both my husband and another person in our party asked for the itemized receipts due to the requirements of their company for reimbursement of expenses.....the looks of Dakota wasn't very pleasant. We dine at Bob Evans in many cities & have never experienced the service we have received at this particular resturant.......our comments as we left, "we will write this one off our list"! read more
