Not sure what happened to IHOP, specifically this one, but for a place that wasn't too busy and had plenty of staff, having the bus-help providing coffee (because the wait staff isn't around), and then bringing out stone cold food after a prolonged wait is just unacceptable. We went in for breakfast at 11:30 the hostess ignored us and proceeded to play with his 2 children who he appeared to be babysitting or playing with at work. Another hostess came to greet us. The waitress informed us that she was new and training. My boyfriend and I went for brunch together and it took awhile to even get sat. Once we were sat all of the tables around us were dirty even though there was hardly no one in the restaurant. Many people got up and didn't order food because they weren't getting served. Many of the workers were walking around with cigarettes and vapes in their hands, and eating food even when the customers were waiting for a while and didn't even get food. Many of the servers were on their phones or had AirPods in not paying attention to the customers. Once we finally got our food it was cold and had green all over the pancakes and the one even had fuzz. Food is good. Service is extremely poor. Came in, no hostess, no cashier. We waited. No hostess no casher. Nobody came to tell us what was going on, or how long a wait, or even take our name down even tho there was a crowd right inside the door. People from the back would come out, look around, button would walk back without even saying "hello" or tell us what was going on. BUT... we had 3 coffee pots sitting at the other end of our 4 top table through our entire meal for no reason. Hubby's pancakes were fluffy and my breakfast crepe was salty cheese sauce with large deli type ham slices, bacon, and eggs for a filling... not breath taking... not terrible... just what you need when you find yourself on the highway at 11 pm and all the mom and pop places have rolled up the sidewalk. read more

Breakfast for dinner? My husband loves it, so there we were at IHOP. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings, and both were served fresh and hot. My husband had a special where you got two pieces of a specialty French toast, eggs, ham, and hash browns. Everything was cooked well and he enjoyed it. The best experience I've ever had at iHOP in my entire life. Walked in thinking about my past experience at any IHOP hoping this one wasn't gonna be the same. First impression is it's nice inside. See a sign saying please wait to be seated. (In my head thinking we're gonna be ignored) server acknowledges us two seconds after walking in. The service is amazing, and the food was so good. I was full, but I kept eating. I tried a few new items on the menu which was the chicken and waffles with cheese (think that's what it's called), and the cannoli pancakes. this def changed my mind on how I think of IHOP. My kids and I used to make it a weekly occurrence to go for "breakfast for dinner" at IHOP. The kids love the creative ways the pancakes looked like animals. We always had the nicest servers that treated us very well. One day the kids and I went to dinner and sat at the table for almost 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table. We thought it odd because it wasn't very busy- when we finally did receive service it was 30 minutes later, the food seemed to be thrown together, and the atmosphere seemed cold. I have liked IHOP for a long time. This particular location is the one I go to pretty much every time I go, since it's the closest. I've been here many many times. I had pancakes, egg, bacon. The service was good considering it was fairly busy. Sometimes I think you actually get better service here at a relatively busy time than when it is very slow. I took my 85-yr-old mom yesterday for a treat during an unseasonably warm November day. I had the turkey bacon club sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. My mom had scrambled eggs, toast, sausage, and hash browns. The sausage had a burnt ring around it. The top of the hash browns looked kind of overcooked, and the entire batch moved as a single entity when she touched them, so I finally asked her to turn them over. We both burst out laughing so hard we couldn't stop. The bottom was so overcooked that it almost looked carmelized. I've added a picture of her meal. What gets me is when restaurants do this, it's an arrogant attitude of apathy. The cook knew it was burnt and just turned it upside down on the plate. This place was filthy! There were two patrons when we walked in with the hostess sitting in a corner on her phone. I had to ask if we were to seat ourselves, that got here attention. There was another employee sitting with her. After we finally found a booth that was not dirty we ordered. The food was pretty much status quo for IHOP. However, with only two diners to serve, a perfect opportunity to clean the booths, seats and flooring swept was missed. There is nothing more unappetizing than a dirty restaurant. read more
