Had an awesome breakfast here today. Huevos Rancheros with chorizo sausage. I'm breakfast lover and a huevos snob and this is now in my top three! Will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

A breakfast spot with a large menu near Portage Lakes. I'm always hesitant when I see a place with such a large menu but I thought I would give it a shot. Service was slow for food but the waitstaff was responsive. We had the corned beef hash, French toast, cinnamon roll French toast, and the biscuits and gravy. No clear winner from the lot but the biscuits and gravy was sub-par. Almost no sausage and the gravy was very gluey and over-peppered. My hesitancy with the large menu was correct as the rest of the food did not hit the spot. Was excited to try this place but probably won't go back.

This is a cute little diner in a small strip mall. We arrived for lunch and got to choose our own seat. There were 4 of us and the booth was a little small as we forget how the kids have grown. Our server took our drink orders quickly and returned for our food order. One child got the children's chicken strips and fries and the other got the adult portion of country fried chicken. My husband got the senior pancakes and sausage and I got the pastrami on rye. The chicken strips were a hit, as were the fries. The country fried chicken was large with lots of gravy and mashed potatoes. He isn't a vegetable kid, but there were loads of mixed vegetables on his plate. He thoroughly enjoyed it. My husbands' senior portion was also large. The pancakes were good as was the sausage. Then came my pastrami. It was so tough and chewy and actually pretty scant. I didn't like it at all as it was too hard to chew. The fries were good. Three out of four good meals isn't bad. Next time I would order something different and think I would have a better outcome.

Weird comment for a hole-in-the-wall restaurant

First and last visit. Very tired and worn looking cafe with apathetic staff. When I arrived a little after 11 am, there was a group of 3 already eating, a group of 2 and a group of 4 waiting to order. 9 total people besides me. It took 30 minutes to get a turkey club sandwich and potato salad. The sandwich was made with really thick clumps of lettuce, which made it hard to eat but it tasted fine except for the half that tasted of onion and peppers, presumably someone else's meal prepared too close to mine. The potato salad was awful. It was full of pickles or relish and way too much mustard. One waitress, one cook, neither with a friendly bone in their body. I left a little after 12 noon, and only 2 more people had arrived. Obviously people know this is not the place to eat and stay away. I found this statement on the back of the menu off-putting so took a photo to add here.

The pork tenderloin was huge! But better yet crispy and juicy at the same time! Reminds me of my local small town restaurant as a kid!

The ambiance, the fresh juices, espresso, FLAVORFUL FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, (shoutout Ashley). The owner Paul is such a peach too! The shrimp and grits is the best I've tried and Bloody Mary flights are definitely a plus! Very eclectic menu that thinks outside of the box and you're able to modify menu items which makes it easy to get exactly what you'd like. Nothing but good things to say! Hoping for success for Paul's business and ASHLEY NEEDS A RAISE!

An interesting place similar to the new breakfast restaurants popping up all over. Very modernized…read morefrom QR coded checks, rectangular plates and coffee served in a carafe and left on the table. Our server Ashley was very polite and had a nice smile and served breakfast with a flourish. We were there for breakfast with my order being the Corn Beef Benny (Eggs Benidict with Corn Beef instead of Canadian Bacon) and my brother being Corn Beef Hash. We are both seniors with much smaller appetites than in our earlier years. Both breakfasts were good with the Corn Beef being shredded rather than ground. Eggs came out as we ordered. My home fries appeared to be from frozen not previously baked/boiled, cut up and then fried. A bit tasteless. A few things stand out. * The Corn Beef Hash did not come with toast (as traditional). I had not expected it for my Benidict but was surprised that my brother's didn't. * The portions also were (in my opinion) small. My brother and I finished our meals without a problem whereas in our earlier years we would still be hungry. * They didn't have standard condiments associated with breakfast especially hot sauce. They had Cholula hot sauce, that is all. * The coffee in the carafe cooled quickly and allowed for only another half cup or so per person. I always enjoy when the server comes by with fresh coffee to warm up our cup and maybe exchange a few pleasantries. * While pleasant, Ashley left us the check without asking us if we knew how to use the process. Fortunately, I did. One disadvantage is I almost always leave cash tip if not on business but indicate on the receipt. With the new process, this was not possible. I still left a cash tip but gave 0 on the electronic bill. No where was there an indication if we didn't have the QR code savvy or wanted to pay cash. To summarize, food decent, server mostly good, price value not so much. At roughly 50 dollars, while good, I think overpriced. Would I go there again, probably not. I like a good old fashion type restaurant where there can be exchanges between the diners and servers.

Fun, original cocktails. Today, had the BEST grilled cheese I ever ate! I take mine with mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion. Bread was perfectly toasted with crisp, crunchy edges. Tomato slices covered the entire sandwich. Perfect consistency. (Thank you, Ben!) Previous visits: had a Grecian omelet - generously filled; a cheese burger like homemade. They're having a special Arabian Nights menu with middle Eastern foods coming up. Recommend you visit this little gem of a place!

They were reasonably busy but we got seated quickly at a table for four. Service started out friendly but we were pretty much ignored after the onset. Our waters were empty and never refilled and we had to get another server's attention in order to get a refill on coffee. The food itself was just okay...not bad but nothing remarkable, in our opinion. Our party got a western omelet, a pancake and slice of French toast, and the beef tenderloin and egg special. My pancake was good but I did not care for the French toast and the syrup it was served with was just a packet of Smuckers. My husband said his omelet was just okay and the hash browns were pretty greasy. The others in our party liked the special but it didn't sit great with them afterward. Not a horrible experience at all, but I'd choose another spot for brunch next time.
