Just a solid basic breakfast place. Great service, kept the coffee filled and hot. Basic diner style restaurant but we just sat at the bar. Cheap prices but great food, and very clean restaurant. We will be back for breakfast there

I had the special pot roast dinner. It was fantastic. Reminded me the wood we used to eat years ago very good.

The food was overpriced and not very good. Just stick with the essentials and don't spend too much money, and you'll be satisfied.

Slow service, garbage coffee, basic diner food. French toast was empty sugar; no substance to the bread.

It has been on my list for ages but it isn't close to my house and the wait is always long! But in March 2026, my bf and I braved the wait so I can finally check this place out! Overall, it is clear why Blue Door is always packed - the food, while overpriced, is delicious and made by a team of talented chef and bakers! I'll say this was a 4.5 star experience. We were quoted a wait for about 45 minutes but we were seated after 30. The case of baked goods were enticing me the entire time but I resisted! Our waiter, Steven, was funny, helpful, and had a great personality. The place, obviously, was packed, with little room in between tables. We saw quite a few patrons order the incredibly indulgent horchata French toast ($24) and I don't think I witnessed anyone finish it! To start, I got a coffee from local coffee roasters, Angel Falls, for $3.50 and my boyfriend treated himself to a fancy hot chai $6.50. It was pretty good local coffee! I wanted to try their famous croissants so I ordered the croque madame croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes ($21). The croque madame was incredible! The breakfast potatoes could have benefited from an interesting seasoning. My boyfriend wanted everything on the menu but decided on getting the "special menu" loaded baked potato breakfast burger with salt+vinegar brined house chips (aka fries) for $24. The potato inside was a large potato latke. This heavenly creation kept him full for hours. In the end, our bill was pretty pricey for a brunch but we enjoyed every bite. I'm not sure if I will be able to come here again since we got lucky with our wait, but they keep changing their menu and something might entice me so much, I'll endure any wait!

The chicken and sauce part of the chicken and waffles were amazing the corn beef hash dish was great. The waffles lacked real flavor and tasted odd. The coffee was great. Service was awesome but slow (took us 40 minutes to get our food). The restaurant is really cute looking and the pastry's look amazing but we only had the croissant which was great. The food was pretty expensive. We spent 70 bucks as a party of two. They definitely had large portions which is nice for the price however after moving here from Columbus, we've just had better for less for brunch/breakfast so that's why I needed to knock off a star. Still a good place but now where that we'd go to regularly because of the wait times and the price not making it feasible.

The interior is really my only complaint because aside from that, we had a great experience! Not pictured here but their stuffed pepper soup was delicious. Like other reviews, the interior needs help! Badly! But the amazing friendliness from the server and the manager, the great large portions and yummy foods can almost make you overlook it. They are very accommodating. I'm a type one diabetic and eat keto, and they gladly took the bread off of my corned beef sandwich and put it on a bed of lettuce instead. The corn beef can definitely give Cleveland Slymans a run for their money. My husband raved about their fries that were perfectly cooked, seasoned and crispy. For two people with tip it it was almost $60. But the portions were so huge. I've never had such a large serving of coleslaw. It was amazing because I love, Love,Love love, coleslaw, and up here in Cleveland we get tiny little 2 ounce plastic things that are just an embarrassment. Our meal was lunch and dinner rolled into one and we weren't even hungry later in the day at all!

Here's the thing, Mike's has always been a favorite of mine to take friends and family to because it's such a cool place with a ton of quirky decor and themed rooms. You can't miss the X-fighter plane right outside the entrance. They have outdoor seating during the warm months, but inside you can also sit and dine inside a bus! Aside from the experience, they have a massively EXTENSIVE menu! I mean, I'm not exaggerating! Of the many times I've been here, I haven't had the same thing twice. And I'm usually a creature of habit. There is something for literally everyone! The service is always good, the food is always great,... and best of all, their fares are always affordable. I'll commend them on the meatball sub. They avoided the critical mistake of putting too much bread into the equation and losing the flavor. This was a very meatball-forward experience with a beef and pork blended meatball, seasoned with Italian spices. Highly recommend! Service was unreal. They use this location to butcher the meat, and then sell it through the restaurant. To buy cuts of beef to go, you need to go to their Akron store (which I will go out of my way to find soon). Big display case where they have sides of beef hanging, coolest thing I've ever seen! Well almost....the coolest thing I've ever seen is the wall of bourbon behind the bar. I like bourbon, and I've NEVER seen a collection this vast. Good thing I live on the other side of town, or I would go broke coming into this place daily! Learned they make road trips to KY for taste tests. Most recently, they went to Buffalo Trace and sampled several different barrels of Blanton's Gold. Found one they liked and had the whole barrel bottled up for their exclusive sale. At $11/ounce, that's a great deal! They also have a nice retail selection of wines, priced at reasonable prices. There is a day each week when they sell them to the restaurant patrons at retail price which is a bargain considering most places mark them up 2-3x. For lunch I had a blackened chicken salad of some sort. The chicken was a nice amount and was simply delicious! Need to come back again when I'm not cutting calories for the beef!
