The kimchi was excellent, especially for a non Asian restaurant. The fish and chips was pretty good, but the batter struggled to stick to the fish and as I picked up a piece it all just fell apart, made it hard to eat. Thankfully the taste was good though. Went to the TUSK last night for dinner for their Fish & Chips. There were a total of 6 adults and my grandson. The service provided by Angelica was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The food was awesome, two got the Fish & Chips, two got the Guinness Fish Basket, one ordered the Roasted Turkey Club and one ordered breakfast. They serve breakfast all day. We will most definitely be back! Such a great restaurant in the heart of downtown Barberton. An old diner style restaurant decorated with plants and art. The food isn't exceptional - though the avocado toast others ordered looked appetizing. The lemon chicken soup I tried was very mid, as the kids these days would say. Too salty for my taste and likened to something from a can. Bit disappointing for the price. The wait staff was inattentive at the end of our meal when collecting the check resulting in wasted time waiting for the last bill to load onto the electronic device. read more

Fun diner feel. The waitresses were very very sweet and helpful. They were doing the best they could between the two of them, however the service was slow and a bit of a mess. They were out of a few menu items including the kettle chips they serve with every dish by 6 pm. The chicken sandwich was good, i would get again. I Loved this place! The diner ambiance is so cute with a super long wrap around counter and lots of booths and tables on the sides. My meal was delicious. The homemade ranch dressing on my Cobb salad was amazing. I couldn't believe the low price for a salad packed with greens, avocado, yummy seasoned grilled chicken, bacon, etc. I ate plenty, but was able to take the rest of the toppings home. I asked for another little cup of the fantastic dressing and made TWO more delicious salads! I'm going to see if they will sell the dressing it was so good. My fish & chips were great, too. I Loved the different sauce for tartar sauce. I would have liked the fish to be more crispy but I would just ask for that next time. Fresh cut fries were great! My friend got the tuna melt. It was huge and she loved it. They also got a charcuterie board -has to be the cheapest price around at 9.99, but with delicious cheeses and preserves and honey I think. Maybe the time of day, the place was completely empty. It was a cool environment, vintage diner style with a long dining bar in the middle and some booths on outside of room - vintage with a twist of modern. I was craving a fish dinner and while the to-go packaging was cute and unique, the food was extremely greasy. It was a light batter which I prefer, but very greasy. Possibly bc it was to-go? Talked with owner, long time chef, first restaurant so still honing the business. Have seen improvements in ambiance decor and overall cozyiness. Lots of server turnover early on but huge strides in from day 1. Look forward to seeing what year 2 holds. We've had the Falafel Smash, Burgers, BBQ Pork sandwich, Fish sandwich, Tuna melt sandwich, and the Apple and blueberry goat cheese salad, and have thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my wife ordered the regular breakfast. Gravy was cold and the waitress never came back to check on us until she brought the bill. A gem right in the middle of my hometown. Lisa had the Magic City Skillet (3 eggs, ham, bacon, breakfast potatoes and toast) with a side of gravy. A group of 5 of us arrived for a Saturday breakfast/brunch. We were greeted by the waitress and shown to our table. I noticed the place was tastefully decorated and very clean. We were served our drink order while we perused the minimal menu. Our orders were made and the service was excellent. Observations in no particular order: the food was excellent quality the menu items were inventive and distinctive the cost was a bit pricey there is a surcharge for credit card use and tipping begins at 20% The place was not crowded and street parking was at a premium although customers trickled in while we were there.
