Dining room very small
Greg M.

Came in at 11:30 on a Tuesday for lunch to-go. The place was already crowded. Looks big from the outside, but very small inside. The menu, on the other hand, is HUGE. Not sure why they have such a wide selection of food for such a small place, but what we got was pretty good. I asked for a Greek salad with blackened chicken. I also had a cup of the soup of the day: Chicken bacon ranch. Daughter got the cheesy BLT. Let's start with the soup...nothing short of spectacular. Pulled chicken, hot as Hades, delicious, delicious, delicious. The salad was good (kinda hard to mess it up). The Greek dressing was outstanding. The 'blackened' chicken was more like a Cajun chicken, but decent nonetheless. The cheesy BLT was kinda goofy. A brioche bun with bacon and a slice of melted cheddar cheese. No mayo or sauces, tomato and lettuce on the other side. Not very spectacular, but my daughter did say the bun just melted in her mouth. The fresh cut fries were disappointing. Soggy, not cooked all the way through, not crisp whatsoever. Need to come back again when I can try something other than a salad, making sure I ask for my fries well done!

We drove here from Columbus today (2hrs) to have lunch. The place was super cute. Small but cute. I had the Turkey Rueben with coleslaw and thousand island dressing. The sandwich comes in 2 sizes, Bully (large) and Sissy (small). I had the sissy and it was plenty big enough. The sandwich was very good, the turkey was tender and the slaw was great. It came with a side of handcut fries. They were a little overcooked for me but were good. It also had a few pickles which were good as well. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The ambiance had a neighborhood vibe and the decor was cute.

Clam chowder with me adding black pepper
Stu F.

Very good service at the bar. A ton of kids with parents, so very family friendly. I had the clam chowder in a coffee cup. Very good flavor with a lot of clams, but the chowder was thin in consistency. Would like to see that thickened up for a chowder. I order one of the special which was a perch basket. Perch was tasty and it's a big portion that is served with hand cut fries. Fries could have used one more drop to stiffen them but we're good anyway. The perch was tender and had good flavor. They are hand breaded here.

Gasoline Alley is perfectly named because the food here is GAS. I started with a cup of their homemade chicken noodle soup, which was super comforting and packed with flavor. For my main, I went with the "Ghent"lemans Club Sandwich, and it's massive, definitely enough for two to share. My absolute favorite thing, though, has to be their yogurt sauce. It's the perfect dip for their house-made chips (which I opted for instead of fries), and it's honestly addictive. The atmosphere is classic and while it can get a bit busy on weekends or evenings, it is a staple in the Bath/Revere area.

We were a family of 10 and we were seated immediately! The food was excellent and fresh! Gasoline Alley has a fun atmosphere and we very much enjoyed viewing all the vintage 'gasoline' related wall decor. The staff and service was very welcoming and amazing. We will be back!

Lobster Bisque & Bloody Mary
Jenn G.

Stopped by on a Friday around 1:30p. Place was pretty full, but cleared out by time we were done. When I returned from the restroom, I was delighted by the great Bloody Mary my friend had ordered - shrimp, pickles, olives - yum! My lobster bisque and crab melt sandwich were super tasty. Fun place that I look forward to returning.

This place is great! They offer a very eclectic menu including mostly burgers and sandwiches with such options as catfish, Italian sausage and a wide variety of Rueben and corned beef style options. For those who prefer a vegetarian meal, they've got you covered. Seating indoors is limited and I chose the outdoor patio option which was comfortable and shaded. They offer a full bar with a few wine options, a wide variety of beers and of course mixed drinks. I enjoyed an Italian Sausage Sandwich with homemade marinara. Flavorful yet mild, perfect for a hot day. The Sauerkraut Balls are actually mini deep dried Ruebens with a honey mustard dipping sauce. O-M-G These are worth the visit!! Our Server Nikki was amazing If you're in the Akron area give them a try, you will not be disappointed

Price $15-$25 per person. Diet Coke - No Order Big daddy Ruben with fries. They really loaded up the Ruben here. I could barely fit it in my mouth, but I finished the whole thing. Ruben was delicious fries were good, but they only have Pepsi products available her. This place has tons of interesting art and knickknack all over the walls and ceilings. I went around dinner time and the place was packed! I really enjoyed the vibe of the place very energetic! Staff was friendly and we got our food in a timely manner. I would recommend this place for its Ruben, but be warned there is not Diet Coke here!

9. Minuteman Melt with Potato Latkews
Alan S.

We arrived around noon and got a seat on a Thursday and it was not as crowded as normal. We sat right next to the door which was a mistake. Every time someone came in the front door the wind blew napkins, etc. off the table. I ordered the Minuteman Melt with Provolone Cheese with Potato Latkews. The cheese sandwich was warm and tasted good. The Latkews were hot and crispy with sour cream on the side. I also ordered a bowl of French Onion soup which was great. Nice flavor with a lot of gooey cheese. I will be back and always enjoy eating here. BTW the service was good!

Really really good spot! Great bar scene and food was excellent. So many sandwich options and the portions are huge - two meals for sure. I am a self nominated Reuben connoisseur and this corned beef was special for some reason it was almost sweet - highly recommend. Super good service - everyone there is killing it! I will definitely be back. I am excited to try pizza because from what I hear it's incredible. Don't sleep on this place.

Terrible service, cold food. Over an hour wait on sandwiches. No Ice in the ice tea or refills because of poor service.

I had heard good things about Whitey's and finally tried it on a Tuesday evening with some friends…read more We were seated quickly outside on the patio (closed and covered now, as it was 30ish degrees). It was brighter out there than in the main restaurant and made for nice seating. After perusing the menu, we went for the black n' bleu burger, the B.O.M.B. burger, the chipotle garden vegetable chili, and orders of fries and their jalapeño bottle caps. All were great! The mac and cheese on the BOMB burger was creamy and excellent, and my companions really enjoyed their burgers. The chili was awesome...I have been thinking about it since. The fries were fresh and hot (they needed salt, but good other than that), and the jalapeño bottle caps were the right amount of spice and came with a perfect cup of ranch for accompaniment. Their hot sauce is great too! Service was friendly and efficient as well. Burgers are a touch pricey considering they don't come with fries or anything and the place is cash only, but other than that no complaints. We will be back for sure. Thank you, Whitey's!

I will begin by saying I have always considered Whiteys one of the best burgers in Cleveland…read more Normally I really enjoy the burgers and it leaves me thinking about them for months thereafter. This experience was slightly different, and that may just be what I ordered.... My group ordered the Firecracker burgers, Maggy, side of fries and tots. Fries: delicious!! Hot and fresh cut. Its very hard to find a fry this good anymore. Tots: Also very good paired with the Whiteys hot sauce. Although, there is nothing very special about the tots. I assume they are frozen and simply reheated much unlike the fries. Burgers: It seemed to be the general theme that everyone thought their burgers were cooked just right. However the beef lacked any flavor or seasoning whatsoever. A little salt or pepper on the grill would've gone a long way here. I was disappointed as the beef is arguably the most important part. Mushrooms and onions: Also lacked any flavor whatsoever and needed some form of seasoning. Not sure if it was steaming in a crockpot all day, but it needed something more. Firecracker fried jalapeños: A complete hit and everyone thought they were fantastic. They need to add more of the special sauce also. Service was acceptable. Not many complaints or comments to be made there. Lighting was dark, and place wasn't very crowded for a Monday. Overall 6.8/10.

We have lived in the area for almost 3 yrs and spoke about this Restaurant a few times to visit,…read morefinally pulling the trigger on a chilly Sunday evening. Upon entering for our reserved time, we were taken to our booth, and left with menus. The first clue to our experience was no one asked if we would like our coats checked. Most 'upscale' places would have asked that immediately. I suppose folding our coats and laying them on the bench of the booth would have also triggered this conversation. Nope. An agreeable server greeted us, ask what type of water we preferred, and let us know where we could find their signature cocktails. As we scanned the menu, we noticed the prices were quite high, and assumed the quality would equal the costs. $26.00 for a Tuna Tartare, and $28.00 for the Steak Tartare seem a little above market. Also, they were asking for $4.50 per half shelled Oyster. Again, pretty high for this area. I usually order a half dozen, but I was a semi cautious, having been burned by local restaurants serving very small oysters. This was no different. I ordered 4 Blue Points, ( .99 cents in the grocery) and was shocked to see 2 normal ( again, for this area) and 2 very small oysters. Burned. We also ordered the Tuna Tartare, and again, it was just ok. Uneven chunks of tuna, atop a strange scoop of avocado( which we had to mash ourselves in order to gain a reasonable mouthful. We decided to have the Tableside Caesar Salad, that's always fun. Most places that have this service, will have a dedicated Maître de or Host create this for you~ we had our over worked waitress. It was 1 1/2 hours between being seated and a salad. On a Sunday. And a VERY over rushed waitress. It wasn't pleasant, and we felt bad for her. Needless to say, the dressing was rushed, therefore the proper amount of ingredients were not acceptable. There was a shocking amount of vinegar and Worcestershire, but how could you tell this poor girl you can barely choke it down? A pork Chop was ordered, and the evenings 'special' a New Filet Trio with a 1/2 lb ( just a leg) of steamed crab- deshelled $60 for the trio and $80 for the leg!!! This is where my lesson comes in- ALWAYS ASK MRK prices, at unfamiliar establishments. My bad. We also order off of there side menu, since we were all in by now. We ordered the gloopy mash potatoes, the polenta they had to take off the bill since it was inedible, and the 4 pieces of grilled asparagus that came smothered in parmesan cheese?? (why on earth are your smothering fresh asparagus in shaved cheese??) My poor husband was 3 Barrel aged Old Fashions in ($18.00 per) and I was 2 Paper Planes ( $16.00 per and was meh) by the time was had our waitress box the entire meal, to be tossed out at home. Because we were embarrassed! At one point, a 'hostess' came over and said " sorry to interrupt, but how was everything??" Listen, she could care less how our meal was, because she directly seated herself in the 'private' dining area next to us, with a full compliment of wine bottles behind her and 3 glass walls surrounding her, and began eating her own supper. Closed off to any irritant she may experience. What absolute gall. Thank God the cappuccino machine was broken, it saved us $10.00 for one cup! Meanwhile, don't they require a dress code at his establishment? I won't say more... After paying our $500.00 bill ( for 2 ppl) we unfolded our coats, and proceeded out, with the 'hostess' engaged in what seemed to be a very personal, almost depressive conversation with a patron, and never bothered to excuse herself to send us off with even a 'thanx' ~ Oh KSL- Lesson Learned. And yes, the overworked waitress received a $50.00 tip. She was lovely and my only hope is she finds a better establishment to work in.
