    Braised short rib
    Lizzie P.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cool ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], however the service was really slow and the food was pretty salty. The pickle chips were crispy. My husbands braised short rib was a really nice serving and tender. The fish po boy was just ok, fries were good.

Very overcooked and greasy onion rings

Not good. The food was overcooked, my burger was dry and the buns were burned. I originally ordered onion rings and they gave me fries. The onion rings came shortly and they were overcooked, dried out and very greasy. Thank goodness I had fries! Server seemed stressed and no personality. Overall, I do not recommend this place.

Caprese salad with chicken. Unfortunately there was NO basil, just micro sprouts.

Stoped in here after a day of errands and shopping. Orders the new Salmon BLT, caprese salad with chicken (no basil for whatever reason) and wings. Server was very attentive, food was really good. I am loving the salmon blt sandwich!!! The bacon in the sandwich is sweet with a nice kick, the aioli is perfect for the sandwich. I can't wait to go back and try it again. Seems the menu and service has improved down a couple years back when we stopped in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot to grab a bit to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

8 oz filet - miserable. Mashed potatoes cheesy and acceptable. The toughest brusselsprouts you can imagine swimming in a soup of salt.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] REMOVE THE STEAK FROM THE MENU. Ordering a bar steak is indefensible, I can admit that. Nevertheless, that taste was not tenable. Eeeeyuck!! It was described as the evenings "special" and I felt especially duped because the only thing "special" that night was me for trusting them with a filet. Drinks were good and effective.

Kihana was our server, hopeI spelleditcorrectly? She was very pleasant and very efficient. Tbeer selection is above average and the fact that they have johnny walker blue at a great price is a nice feature it's open a little bit later, and we like that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a bit noisy but not a deal breaker.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was my second or third time in here, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the atmosphere and there's a big menu with lots of options to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is decent, some better than others but portions are always a good size. The burger was really good, so juicy and flavorful. The greek bowl was okay, I felt the proportions were a bit off and i would have loved more chicken. It was pretty meh. Brussel sprouts had good flavor just soggy so expect that. The Hungarian peppers were awesome as well, the house made marinara was so flavorful and sausage tasted great. A little picky but I wish it was hot when it came out the sauce was cold but not sure if that's just how they serve it. Overall, great atmosphere and good prices for the portion sizes. Service was good and quick, and I will be back but I wouldn't say it's somewhere that I'm dying to go to for the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place to watch sports for sure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Town Tavern is the place to be for Sunday brunch! Brunch & Beats Sundays 9am -2pm with brunch crafted cocktails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a live DJ at 11am and an incredible brunch menu![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was exceptional and the vibe will make you want to come back for more!

Visited Town Tavern for dinner recently for dinner. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated and given menus. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside and the weather was perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I requested an Angry Orchard cider because they had it on tap. The cider was cold and very good. For dinner, I requested a southwest salad with salmon and my wife requested lettuce wraps. The salmon was a bit undercooked, but it was tasty. The salad as a whole was very good and I would request it again. My wife liked her lettuce wraps and the sauce on them was tasty. Good stuff!

So this is a new place people have told us about. I don't recommend it. 1) food and cocktails were both meh. To benchmark, this is basically Burntwood Tavern with a more up to date floor plan and atmosphere. 2) food was really meh. I mean this wasn't much more than Applebees. And a lot more expensive. 3) I make a point of not going to Applebees and like establishments for health reasons. Wonder why the US leads the world in Type diabetes, obesity, and other ills? This experience is it. Caveat: I do indulge in an occasional Popeye's fried chicken... otherwise I am fast food and "upscale leisure" clean 4) service went through all the motions but no genuineness. I can't say "bad" but I won't be be paying for this experience any time soon.

    Avocado toast with no tomatoes

Finally tried this place out after their move to the hill. I can't speak to the rest of their food, but we went for brunch on Sunday after church and it was pretty solid. There were multiple vegetarian options as well as a kids menu and all in our party were happy with their meals. I ordered the avocado toast with no tomatoes and it was quite tasty. Weird thing though - I asked if I could switch the over easy eggs it comes with to poached and, upon checking with the kitchen, our server informed us that that was not possible. Weird, but okay. They were also out of wheat toast. Our table also tried the waffles, classic tavern breakfast, and one of the breakfast flatbreads. The potatoes that come as a side with some of the meals were crispy and a hit. Overall, not a bad experience and I would try them out for lunch or dinner sometime!

They ID'd us first and we gave them a credit card to open a tab with. Then we were given wrist bands to activate beverage dispensers and tie our drinks to our credit card. We sat down at a table of our choosing and ordered a pizza from the neighboring Antonio's. Then we grabbed a glass, washed it in the automatic washer, and had our first beverage. I started off with a cider, which was tasty. A few minutes later, our pizza arrived, but it didn't have the correct toppings. We didn't care about the pizza, but the staff insisted on having it remade for us. We finished the first pizza and then they brought us another one. They didn't charge us anything for either pizza due to the error. So we took the 2nd pizza to go. We tried to tip the waitresses on our credit card, but they said there is no need to do that because the guests serve themselves, except for food. So if you want to tip, you should probably bring cash. The pizza was very tasty and there was a large selection of drinks. I like the concept and since it is close to home, we'll visit again.

For example, if you want a non-beer drink, there are no fountain beveridges. Just random bottled drinks like apple and orange juice. (with pizza?!) To order, you have to go to the counter, but there's no menu to look at once there. So we were literally toting menus back and forth from the table to the counter to show them what we wanted to order. Chaotic is a good word to describe our experience. The pizza was delicious, I'd happily eat it again. But the service and menu/drink situation were so bad it was almost laughable. We were the only group in the entire restaurant, and I think I know why. While the restaurant building is exactly what you'd expect, the outdoor patio looked inviting with ample seating and an open fire, but I'm not sure I'll be going back. I'm only giving this place two stars because the pizza was so good. ‍

Firehouse Tavern - Honest Review…read more We stopped in because one of the ladies in our group was craving sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told they're no longer on the menu--even though they still appear on the website. Our waitress explained there's a new manager and they currently don't have access to update the online menu. The atmosphere felt cold and very empty when we arrived, so we asked for something warm to drink. The only options were Coke products, so five of us settled for simply a cup of hot water. There were nine of us total, and the food came out sporadically. We tried to wait until everyone had their meal, but the timing made it a little awkward. On a positive note, I ordered the House on Fire Jalapeño Popper Burger. It came with crispy bacon, cream cheese, and jalapeños. The menu said the jalapeños were deep-fried, though I only received soft ones. However -- the burger was cooked perfectly. I asked for medium, and it came out pink inside, which told me the patties are made fresh. My side was the homemade potato chips, but they were just dry fried potatoes without much flavor or crisp. Once everyone finally had their food, the waitress disappeared. I ended up going to the bar myself to ask for water, and was handed a plastic cup with no ice. We didn't see the waitress again until she came around with the checks. The good news is: They do take credit cards The restaurant is wheelchair accessible -- but only if the correct parking spot is open. Once the lot fills (about 10 cars), the incline makes it nearly impossible for a handicap van to park safely. My burger, fries, and cup of water came to about $15. Overall, I'm not sure I'd return. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals, but between the missing menu items, slow service, and lack of warmth in the atmosphere, it just wasn't the experience we hoped for.
