    Boneless Wings

Cost: Under $20 per person Diet Coke: Available Order: 15 wings various flavors on the hotter end. $0.60 each on Mondays and Tuesdays! The best way I would describe this restaurant is like an Applebees with Keno. I say that because it feels like one, but they have a constant stream of Keno on a TV which you can buy tickets for here. The food was good, about the same quality of boneless that you would find at Applebees, but they did have a good selection of sauces for the wings. Plus $0.60 wings are a deal too good to pass up. The staff were friendly and we didn't wait long for our food. Not sure how the other food is, but my coworkers didn't have any complaints on their meals. They have various deals throughout the week so be sure to check their menu before going in. The special daily deals is what makes the restaurant worth going too.

Will always be my go to place when traveling for work. Great comfort food & fun atmosphere. The beer menu will always be reason for being able to expand your horizon

I have eaten here several times. It's one of my favorites. They have a big menu and as a result, they a wide selection to choose from. See the different photos I posted of some of the different menu items I have ordered here. Great customer service and friendly staff as well as delicious food is what you will find here. Great big parking lot too I might add. So, you will find plenty of parking here. They also have free popcorn as you walk in too. So grab some of that before they seat you at a table or booth. I have gotten their wings here and they were great. You can get two different sauces like I did. I have also gotten their t bone steak special which is usually on the weekends. It was delicious. Anyway, great service and great food can be found here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This spot was recommended to me as I checked in to a near by hotel. Monday Night Football and Baseball playoffs made for a bar atmosphere to be the right one tonight. I drive over to find a crowded parking lot. No worries as I was still seated at a table immediately. Mondays and Tuesdays had both boneless wings and small pizzas on special. I started with a small order of their skinny dips. These are basically skinless chicken chunks with dipping sauce. They were good but left plenty of belly room for a small pizza. By far the pizza was the winner tonight. Soft, thin crust with quality toppings. Even another patron walking out raved about the pizza. What's a bar without a drink? This place featured numerous beers and whiskeys. One well-nursed drink, wings and a small pizza later and the second quarter of a good game was just starting. I ended up with another long-pour whiskey and a 5-piece order of the boneless. I preferred the boneless over the skinny but still not bragging about them. Sauce was very minimal and you need to remember to order the ranch ahead of time. In all the food was good (pizza rocks!) and the whiskey menu was right up my alley. Plenty of televisions to watch the games. It was not loud by any means which I liked. Most noise I heard was the satellite radio in the background. I hope to be back some day.

Winking Lizard has pretty good food. I've visited two locations in the last couple weeks and I've been pleased with the food. On this visit, we were promptly seated and we ordered drinks and an appetizer. Our server was slow, but friendly. We ordered spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was hot and delicious. For dinner, my mother and I ordered chicken salads, my son ordered a plain cheeseburger, and my wife ordered chicken wings. My salad was very tasty and it had fresh ingredients. I like to add ranch dressing a buffalo sauce for a little heat. My wife gave me two of her wings and they were very good. My son didn't finish his hamburger, so I stole a piece of the meat. The flavor was smoky and traditional, but it didn't find it particularly appetizing. I've definitely tasted better burger meat. They have a large selection of beer on tap and free popcorn. This location has a large living iguana in it. I really like Winking Lizard!

Had fun here! We needed someplace to go for a later dinner and had some really good apps and burgers. There were three of us so we shared two apps and each ordered our own burger. The portions are large here so we ended up being home a little food. The staff was very nice and friendly. Our server was super attentive and checked on us frequently. Liked the hot pretzel sticks. The spinach and artichoke dip was good, but would have liked a different tortilla chip with that dip. I ordered the blue shroom burger. Loved the taste of it! Very unique and cooked perfectly. The other two people at my table enjoyed their burgers too! By the way, the Market Garden Progress Pils goes great with the Blue Shroom Burger! It was cool seeing Chubbs, the lizard.

Atmosphere: I always liked the winking lizard. I would compare it to Applebees but with way better food. As you walk in, you are always greeted with the smell of popcorn and a friendly "hello". We were seated by one woman and then told our server would be coming shortly. I think she said something about a training program or something like that? Like the servers were in training or something. Not sure. Either way, our server was very nice. We both ordered waters and a shot of the month. Which I forget what it was called but it was fruity and went down easy. Reminded me of like a buzz ball you can find at the gas station (I'm not knocking it, I love buzz balls). Food: My wife had never tried gold finger wings which in my opinion, EVERYONE should have at winking lizard. You can't find that sauce anywhere else. So we ordered a couple appetizers of the the boneless goldfinger (she refused to get traditional) and the Mac and cheese bites. The Mac and cheese bites are always soooo good here and my wife thoroughly enjoyed every last bite of her goldfinger winger. We then ordered our entrees which for me, meant mild Buffalo wings and coleslaw and my wife got the bomans burger. Our food came and we had started taking a couple bites. Unfortunately my wife out of nowhere started feeling very I'll. She went to the car while I settled the check and got boxed. This is no reflection of the food whatsoever. It is now 3 days later and she's still sick with a summer flu. But we did end up eating our wings and burger leftover that night once she took a nap. Both were delicious. Even after sitting on the counter for a few hours. Service was also very very helpful in getting me boxes and the check very promptly so we could take off. I really appreciated that. We can't wait to go back for more wings!

OMG the service was so painful. I'm so sad to be writing this review. We had two kids meals, two burgers and 10 wings... it took over 30 minutes for our food to come out (and that is only counting definite time... I'm pretty sure it was closer to 45) The evening started out promising, walked in and grabbed our popcorn.. no one was waiting... until it took 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were standing there... oh and she saw us. So we sat down.. and our waiter.. might have been the slowest waiter in the history of ever.. we painfully watched him set up a table in front of us with 6 paper placemats only.. it took him forever like a good 5 minutes.. PAPER PLACEMATS Our food came out lukewarm because, quite frankly.. he was busy setting placemats and forgot about us. We usually love the wings.. and I love a good crunchy wing.. these were so tiny and leather like, barely any meat on them... at over a dollar a wing. The burgers were good. The fries were good, but they definitely need to change their oil, super dark and a bit oily. I think after our order was taken, food was brought out he didn't come back to our table until we made eye contact and waved him over. He brought the check and again, I had to call him over to take it. We were here way over 90 minutes for something that should have taken less than 45. I was definitely at a 3 star review... until as we were leaving a waitress pushed right past us as we were walking through a doorway... like we were IN the doorway and she couldn't wait the 1 second for our foot to finish through it. I also watched a woman next to us wait a good 5-8 minutes for her ranch to come. I also specifically asked if the buffalo burger was included on burger night.. he said YES only the 3 listed as excluded.... guess what, we ended up being charged $10 not $7... and for $3 we couldn't wait there any long to fight that, not worth it. There is so many stories that I watched unfold as we waited if poor service, but I think I summed it up pretty well for you. What a bummer to write this, but we definitely won't be back to this one again.

My wife and I got in the mood for wings while we were in the area so she went over to the winking lizard tavern and picked two different kinds of wings up for us. We're a big fan of wings and trying different flavors so we got a Nashville hot bone in and a hot bonus. We tried each and we both like them pretty darn well. If we would have to say I would go the Nashville hot the edge we thought that it was a little better but both were really solid

Decided to take my friend out to eat to show thanks for helping me since I have no car. I didn't have high expectations for it but my friend ate at a Winking Lizard at some point in her childhood so she really wanted to go. Upon arrival the lady behind the counter was super unenthusiastic which I can't really blame after seeing the type of people that eat there, and she's probably underpaid. After about a 15 minute wait or so, we finally get seated and are eventually greeted by our waitress. Thought she was going to be nice at first being as she was a quiet older woman, but she was devoid of any personality but again to give the benefit of the doubt, she's probably one those people that have been at their job for so long that they just hate it. Onto the food and drink...bad start because every time I order somewhere with exclusively fountain drinks, I ask for no ice...and the drink came with ice. no big deal, waited for her to come back and she fixed it. When we got our food, it was lukewarm as if the food had just sat in the window for a long time. The sauce on my wings had been sitting there for so long that it soaked into the breading of the wings and made it less than desirable. The "Garlic" sauce was underwhelming and the "Fire in the Hole" sauce was nothing but spice. My friend's food was also less than mediocre with a described "could be better" burger featuring a soggy bottom bun and hard top bun. The margarita my friend ordered was also very lackluster apparently. Lastly to nitpick, I got charged for a like 2oz cup of ranch even though the menu says my meal came with one. Overall, if you like old and low quality food with the ambience of screaming kids while trailer trash parents get their drink on, this is the place for you!

I give the current version of this family favorite a 4. Maybe it's the impact of the pandemic, maybe it's the high school/college culture of the menu or maybe it was an off day. My patty melt was great and the fries are the way to go. The menu features burgers, wings and pizza and could use an update. Still it's solid fare.

Meh. This place is OK. It's a pretty unique place in Akron I'll give it that. There's an arcade adjacent to the restaurant which is cool! They have an outside patio where you can eat and an indoor bar as well. A pretty generic American sports bar look and feel as well. They have a really big selection of draft beers which is awesome if you like beer. What I do like about this place is the variety of food here. They got wings, they got burgers, they got sandwiches, they got appetizers, nachos, salads, basically anything you can think of. It happened to be 50 cent wing night when I went so I ordered a plate of wings, garlic flavor which wasn't that hot on their hot scale. The wings were a pretty good size, but they weren't crunchy like I like my wings. Thats okay though because they fulfilled my craving for wings. We also got the loaded potato skins as appetizers which was good. I wouldn't crave or desire the food here but I would come to watch a sports game or something.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told they're no longer on the menu--even though they still appear on the website. Our waitress explained there's a new manager and they currently don't have access to update the online menu. The atmosphere felt cold and very empty when we arrived, so we asked for something warm to drink. The only options were Coke products, so five of us settled for simply a cup of hot water. There were nine of us total, and the food came out sporadically. We tried to wait until everyone had their meal, but the timing made it a little awkward. On a positive note, I ordered the House on Fire Jalapeño Popper Burger. It came with crispy bacon, cream cheese, and jalapeños. The menu said the jalapeños were deep-fried, though I only received soft ones. However -- the burger was cooked perfectly. I asked for medium, and it came out pink inside, which told me the patties are made fresh. My side was the homemade potato chips, but they were just dry fried potatoes without much flavor or crisp. Once everyone finally had their food, the waitress disappeared. I ended up going to the bar myself to ask for water, and was handed a plastic cup with no ice. We didn't see the waitress again until she came around with the checks. The good news is: They do take credit cards The restaurant is wheelchair accessible -- but only if the correct parking spot is open. Once the lot fills (about 10 cars), the incline makes it nearly impossible for a handicap van to park safely. My burger, fries, and cup of water came to about $15. Overall, I'm not sure I'd return. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals, but between the missing menu items, slow service, and lack of warmth in the atmosphere, it just wasn't the experience we hoped for.

If you've never had one, a Pizookie is basically a warm, gooey cookie cake with ice cream on top, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. My wife, my son, and I all ordered the All American Smash Burger. The two smashed patties, the melted American cheese, the signature sauce--it all came together so well, and the fries hit the spot. My daughter went a different route and got the Southern Fried Chicken, and she couldn't stop talking about how good it was.
