We stopped in for a quick coffee this weekend, and I was underwhelmed with the taste of the latte. It was overall just fine, but the staff did not greet us when we walked in and just pointed to a menu to choose. The location is very cute, but the coffee was burnt and the strawberry syrup did not have much flavor.

Food came out slow but management was friendly. My bacon, egg croissant was good and pancakes were fluffy. I will come again for the coffee. Two stars deducted because they don't accept or honor inKind per the instructions on the app. They said I had to download their app to use the inKind app and pay for the 20%. This is not the process.

Last 2 times I had different servers than the one who was having a really bad day or something, and they were great! Will definitely return.

Service was great from the start! Our waitress was super nice and funny. Coffee was served in nice glasses, and didn't taste horrible, but the iced cortado did split a bit. Food was good too- nice flavors, I just wished it was all served warmer! Everything was just slightly room temp.

We had a great brunch at Bluestone Lane in Logan Circle a few weeks ago. Such a nice spot! I liked my Grilled Corn Summer Salad with fried egg and halloumi cheese add-ons, so much that I tried to duplicate it when I got home from our DC trip. My husband and I sat inside to stay cool, but there is outdoor seating also available. Our waiter was friendly when she sat us and explained how to order - scan the QR, order and pay, and food is brought out to you. Our waiter checked in on us throughout the meal, as well as a man who was possibly the manager or owner. We will definitely be back to Bluestone Lane next time we are in Logan Circle!

Its decent. Its a nice little spot that is cozy and quiet. Service was good. Not super impressed with the food or menu. It wasn't bad or anything. Its perfectly a-ok. Would come here again. But wouldn't go out of my way to come here. So yeah, 3 stars.

Matcha Latte

I had a delightful iced matcha latte! I finished it before I could snatch a picture. The actual place was adequate for working remote, there are plugs throughout but they are a bit difficult to locate. The music was quite loud, but headphones toned it down. I was largely unbothered for the time I was working there and the wifi was solid. Nothing special, but good in a pinch!

The food, service and vibe is top notch. I'm a huge breakfast/brunch food fan. Pretty much could eat it all day, 24/7 and this place delivers! From the moment I stepped into this location to the moment I left, I was impressed with my entire experience. Bluestone is a fast casual brunch spot on a seriously, delicious and healthy tip. Also, the coffee and specialty cold brews are soooo good. I can on a Sunday thinking is was going to just get a iced cold brew, but couldn't help but to stay and try a menu item as I was intrigue by the food I saw coming out to folks tables. It was semi-crowded, there is lots of seating (indoor and outdoor). There was no trouble getting a Sunday afternoon table with quick service and unique ordering style. Shout out to Nora for being so cool and patient with me as a newbie, on such a busy day. Simply put, you take your seat, scan the QR for the menu and submit your order; hot food arrives in no time. My large cold brew and B.L.A.T.E were both on point, came quick and everything was so fresh. The B.L.A.T.E. -- A winner! Not sure if it is Aussie...but is was 'Hellalicious' that's for sure!! Crispy bacon, avocado, arugula, tomato, a fried egg & garlic aioli on a brioche roll served with crispy potato wedges....what more does one need to have a satisfying breakfast. I left with no complaints and now have a new breakfast spot. I highly recommend. Bluestone is definitely worth a stop or try. The prices are a little steep but worth it, given the quality and taste factor.

My friend and I dined yesterday. We both had the avocado toast. I added a poached egg on mine. I also got the blueberry smoothie. Both items were fantastic, filling, delicious, and unique. Definitely recommended, even though there were barely any customers around 5:30 PM on a Tuesday. I used the amazing InKind app to pay--an easy-to-use app that gives you rewards and cash back bonuses at thousands of restaurants and is a quick way to pay. I could go on and on about the app!

Breakfast bowl. Add smoked salmon. Was delicious and filling. Shared with my baby and toddler. $21.

Fresh food and decent coffee at inflated prices, but hey, it's THE BIG CITY. You just kind of expect to pay $50 for breakfast and coffee for two adult and two small kiddos in this situation. I was thankful that they open very early in the morning and that they also are offered on Door Dash. The next two mornings we simply didn't go inside but had it delivered instead. Hubs said the pastries were good (I can't eat gluten). I got the breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread (which actually didn't taste like saw dust like most fake breads do). The restaurant itself was very clean, bright and staff were nice.

BL Burrito

Came here on a Sunday morning around 1130. We waited about 20 minutes for an outside table which was fine because I was able to show a bit of the neighborhood to some out of town guests. This was actually my first time to a Bluestone Lane and I had a great time. Ordering can be done via the QR code or with the server. To drink I got a draught nitro cold brew which was flavorful and robust. To eat I ordered a BL burrito. The burrito has scrambled eggs, bacon, Avo, feta cheese, with a guajillo sauce. You also receive a side of potato wedges. The burrito was tasty. The potato wedges were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The asthmatic is cute and the covered patio is very nice to have on very sunny days. This is a nice place to catch up with friends or knock out some work quickly.

Our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations. I also swapped my regular fries for truffle fries, which were a great choice. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken with biscuits and got the sausage gravy on the side. The chicken was fried perfectly with a nice crunch, the biscuits were soft, and the sausage gravy was so good you could honestly eat it by itself. My daughter got the mac and cheese with a side of fruit and cleaned her plate.. no crumbs left! I'd definitely come back, especially to try their breakfast/brunch since they serve it all day. Overall, I'd recommend Ted's for a solid breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

It's nice that they have a pick up window to make it easier for online orders because even around two an hour before they close there was still a line out the door. It was moving pretty fast, so not as big of a deal. There's a decent amount of indoor seating, and I felt like the turnover of tables was pretty high with open seating, so not too hard to find a seat. I ordered the BBQ lamb shoulder pita which is also apparently rated one of the seven best sandwiches in North America. I can understand it. It was actually really good. A lot of good flavors. I felt like it was going to be not filling in the beginning, but was actually quite filling and had good meat depth in the pita. They pitas are made in house, so small imperfections make it more original. It is a little bit saucy so definitely grab some napkins, but it's a ton of flavor and definitely makes sense why it's one of their signatures. I've had their chicken pita in the past and that was also really good. Definitely a must stop if you're in the union market area. You can also order online if the line is

Tried the pita, the labneh, the Zaatar Croissant and the Roselle/Malabar tea. The tea was my favorite. Very refreshing, with a hint of spiciness. The pita was huge; each weighed about ~6oz so one piece is generally enough for one meal. It was freshly baked and very fluffy and relatively thicker than the pitas in most restaurants. The labneh was just normal. The Zaatar Croissant was stuffed with lots of labneh and coated in Zaatar. The Zaatar smelled amazingly but did not have much taste. The labneh went well with the croissant. In short, it is an interesting cafe but not a must-visit place if you are traveling in DC -- even if you are a fan of Middle Eastern food like me:)
