    Kimchi Crunch Bowl
    Ann L.

I was waiting to check into my hotel nearby and wanted to grab some lunch, and this looked promising! I went with the kimchi crunch bowl and it was tasty and a filling lunch for a reasonable price. The chicken was nicely seasoned and the purple rice and glass noodles were a nice base. The vegetables were fresh and everything went well together. I opted to dine in and they were doing a brisk takeout business on a weekday at lunchtime, but the line never got too long. The dining area is comfortable and reasonably large. Heads up that the bathrooms are locked and you'll need a code. I'd recommend asking for that when you pay for your food to avoid having to get back in line to get the code, hoping that they remember you are a customer and did buy food.

I've been meaning to visit SeoulSpice for years and I finally got around to it. I tried the Kimchi Crunch bowl and it was delicious. I really liked the variety of toppings, the mix of textures, and flavors of everything, and combo of rice and noodles. My only adjustment would be to add some spice, which I did at home. I picked up an takeout order and it was easy -- ready on time and available on the counter. I will definitely be back.

I make sure to stop here anytime I'm in NoMa, it's sooo good. They're open late which is perfect after a workday and you want to grab a quick bite with friends/colleagues without having to worry about processed foods or anything else that can make you feel like crap after. Wouldnt even know it was GF!! This place is so comforting and the team there is always so nice and patient. They're happy to help you with any suggestions based on what you like. The space is always clean and overall vibes / ambiance are chill. This place is just

Quick and friendly service with reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. The bulgogi beef, sauces, kimchi, kale slaw and veggies all worked well together. The menu labeled it as spicy with one flame but I found it pretty mild. The restaurant was very quiet for dinner but the neighborhood is vey active and there are many outdoor seating options.

These are large bowls full of Rice and vegetables with very little meat. If you need protein, go somewhere else. I am disappointed with the disproportionate amount of carbs, protein and vegetables. The chicken bowl is slightly better than the beef but not by much. The employees were polite and the location has good seating and seems clean. The only issue I had was with the portions.

It's probably a good thing I discovered SeoulSpice on my last day in DC; otherwise I may never have eaten at another restaurant! Ordering was super easy - pick your rice, protein, toppings, sauces. The price was appropriate or less than expected for the amount and quality food. The space had lots of seating and some IG-worthy decor.

Was in the mood for some Korean so decides to try this resturant out. Most definately does not compare to tradition Korean resturant when items are separate. Overall the build your bowl was good with lots of items to choose from, and staff was friendly. A bit on the pricey side but you do get a good portion of food.

Proof that I was charged a tip after a pending transaction that I DID NOT approve of at 1:56 AM

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THIS LOCATION!! Yesterday I decided to visit Soulspice to try some new food in Washington DC the Noma location. When a friend and I arrived we had a hard time choosing off of the menu. I expected to be serviced and helped but unfortunately didn't get any. There were 2 younger women and one older woman working and they all seem to have attitudes and didn't enjoy their jobs. I didn't want to annoy them any further so I just quickly ordered along with my friend. The order was rushed I feel like and the food was all placed in the middle and not around the bowl like the pictures presented. My friend was making her sauce selection and had to get it on the side instead of inside the bowl because employee sealed the bowl before confirming if that was all. I'm not sure what we did to make them upset but I guarantee you that WE gave them respect. Lastly the biggest problem of them all I was charged $26.29 for the 2 bowls I received which is correct. The problem is that at 1:56 AM the amount charged was updated to $31.55 stating they I had given the merchant a $5.26 TIP!! Which is outrageous because why was it changed during the transaction pending after such careless service!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THIS LOCATION!!

Solid Korean rice bowl option in town. Extra meat was also very reasonable in terms of price. Pleased with the meal.

She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and really made the entire experience feel special. We started with the biscuits served with jam and butter, and they were such a treat. Warm, tender, and comforting, with the richness of the butter and sweetness of the jam making them hard to stop eating. The blue crab deviled eggs were another wonderful start, creamy and rich with the delicate sweetness of the crab and just the right amount of savory flavor. The rib eye was exceptional, beautifully cooked, incredibly tender, and full of that deep, beefy, slightly smoky flavor you want from a great steak. I also loved the grilled okra. The grilling gave it a wonderful char and smokiness while still keeping the freshness of the vegetable. The prawns were another standout, tender and succulent with a slightly sweet, briny flavor that paired beautifully with the rest of the meal. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and every dish brought something different to the table. Between the beautiful al fresco dining, the incredible food, and Ellie's outstanding service, this was one of those dining experiences you remember long after the meal is over. I would absolutely return to St. Anselm the next time I'm in Washington, DC.

Basic things you'd expect like extra napkins, a serving spatula for the pizza, and cheese/pepper flakes to be brought before or with the pizza weren't done. The pizza took 35 minutes to come out and certainly wasn't worth the wait. The pizza was plain, unflavorful, floppy as heck, and had a soup-like liquidy consistency, immediately falling apart. The crust was chewy and unappealing. The pizza wasn't worth $33. Gimme a break. The manager walked by 40 times and didn't stop by once to check on us but seemed to check on every other table.
