The overall flavor of the meat and salsas are good but the tortilla kinda ruins it all since they break apart so easily and don't taste great. They remind me of taco stand from back home in sd but homemade tortilla really makes a world of a difference. Also wouldn't get again the shrimp tacos as they are barely coated and fried so would stick to meat options.
I mean I can post pictures of the exterior and interior of La Cosecha market, but I can also post pictures of alpacas who visit the market! This is a great venue that hosts businesses that range from arepa shops to bars to a community space. Honestly have fallen in love with how vibrant the space is. The food is unique in the sense that you can go beyond traditional Mexican food and try Venezuelan and El Salvadoran cuisines. If you're ever in DC, check this spot out!
My friend and I wanted to try a few spots in here so we started at Platos fuertes. We got the strawberry marg pitcher. It was delicious a little dangerously delicious if you know what I mean. The calamari was a little overcooked for me. Next we went to Mosaico and let me tell you that Perro Caraqueño was GAS!! I hate mustard and I couldn't imagine this hot dog not having it. 10000/10 I wish I would have gotten two but this was the warm up for dinner. We ate in the dining area on one of the couches. I love how you can get food from a couple different spots & lounge together.
Stopped by during the holidays to experience their Coquito Bar. They offered a variety of coquito options, but I went with the vegan option. It was nice and the coconut cream offered a nice level of sweetness, but it had too much ice for the price of the drink. The staff were super helpful and kind as they made me an item that was listed on the online menu, but not their physical in person menu. Shout to them! It is a nice spot located inside of a food hall which gives you chances to hop around and try other items. It is cozy, but offers a decent amount of space and seating for larger groups.
Tried the pupusa place and it was pretty good! I had the taco salad that had lettuce, sliced steak, pico de gallo, avocado, cotija cheese, fried tortillas, and cesar dressing. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The steak was tender and juicy. My only complaint is that the cesar dressing doesn't really go with the flavors of the salad. I ended up eating the salad plain, but there was plenty of flavor elsewhere so it was fine. People were friendly and service was fast. A little on the expensive side in my opinion, but I guess it's normal for the city. The place itself is like a big food hall with many restaurants and seating all around. Great place to peope watch and catch up with your friends.
Came for a cooking class hosted by Cocu social! It's located in the glass windows to the right when you walk in. There seemed to be another class happening at the open area next to ours. The instructor was amazing but it was hard to hear in the beginning due to the DJ in the main area. Once we got moving around the kitchen it was better. The price was reasonable for the empanadas class so I would definitely book another class in the future. Went for drinks after at Serenata, you can't go wrong with any of their cocktails.
Come here instead of the super crowded Union Market nearby. La Cosecha has an excellent selection of food options and wasn't crowded at all. It's very peaceful with plenty of seating on a weekday lunch time. We tried the Peruvian food and in particular the ceviche was divine. In addition, the coconut ice cream pop from the shop next door was the most amazing pop I've ever had. Highly highly recommended!
We came across this place. while shopping at Union Market. Peruvian Brothers is inside. Trader Joe's is nearby. There are several shops, a wine bar and eateries in the same space. The building needs more foot traffic inside. We enjoyed a nice picnic with food from area businesses. It wasn't busy on a weekday. Parking was easy to find.
This area has AMAZING shops & restaurants. I went to 2 places and both did an awesome job at what they sold. Everyone was nice and answered my questions about their items. The chocolates were definitely hand made with love and my sandwich and empanada were cooked with high quality ingredients and seasoned well.
La Cosecha is always amazing! I stop here every time I'm in the area (which is once a month) and I've got my daughter hooked as we prepare for her first trip to Costa Rica. I love that it's a place where she can practice her Spanish and get a little culture and I can get my fix when I'm stuck on this side of the equator. Dive into the arepas and shop some of those vendors on the outskirts because you'll be pouring money back into communities that build!
My friend and I took the Empanada making class at CocuSocial. The instructor was very fun, professional and helpful through the experience. So if you're worried about your cooking skills, he's got your back.
Fun food hall with more chill vibes than nearby Union market. I tried the steak tacos and chicken tacos from one of the vendors and they were very tasty with a nice, rich flavor. Also enjoyed a cocktail from the bar, which had a creative menu. Not a ton of options and a few things were closed, but still a very cute spot.
I love this place! Love it even more with the salsa dancing events! I went for the first time to the Thursday evening event with Baila dc and had so much fun! I will definitely be back! Also this grapefruit and rum drink was delicious!

La Cosecha is a vibrant, cafeteria style Latin food market. There are plenty of seats spread out throughout the area. They also have two small shops which sell bags, jewelry, postcards and other knickknacks. I tried the Pabello empanada from Mosaico and a bean and cheese pupsa from La Casita, which I highly recommend. read more
La Cosecha is a Latin American marketplace that offers a variety of foods, draaanks, events and also places to work remotely. I normally frequent La Casita Pupuseria, Café Unido, Arcay Chocolates, Mosaico and Peruvian Brothers. All of these restaurants are absolutely delicious and bad for my waistline, lol. I come here frequently to do some remote work. I'd recommend going up to the 2nd floor where there are less people and it's a little quieter. The wifi is decent, but expect intermittent disconnections. I definitely enjoy the atmosphere and the food is a nice treat for lunch or snacks. I wouldn't recommend it for a place to have virtual meetings since there is always music running in the background. You must try the Papusas from La Casita Pupuseria!! It's my absolute favorite over here. It's flavorful, cheesy interior with crispy outer casing will leave your mouth watering. La Cosecha is great Latin food hall in DC that is in the union market area. You could spend a whole afternoon exploring and trying all the options that are available. It features a bar, local vendors, a market, an upscale restaurant, coffee shop, and different fast casual restaurants for you to try. A great vibe to the place where you can enjoy a nice drink and then do some shopping and grab a bite to eat later. This will definitely be a spot I will be visiting frequently. read more
Came and spent an afternoon here and had so much fun! Tried a little bit of something from each stall that was open (was there on a Monday so a few spots were closed). They offer free parking for 3 hours in the garage and have plenty of seating inside and out. I brought my computer and was able to get some work done which was nice! Highly recommend a visit because it's a beautiful place to work from or just hang out at with a coffee. read more
I looooove this place! We were really going to union market but we happened to park beside La Cosecha. It was fate!!! Love the vibe of this place although it can use some music inside. There are plenty of seats and restaurants/bars to choose from. There are also stalls that sell bags, crafts, clothes... It's giving a mercado feel and I'm all for it! Hope to see this place come more to life! We had beef sandwich, beef empanada and ceviche. All were super yummy and reasonable prices too! We will definitely be back! read more
Delicious authentic Latin American food court with 1/2 dozen vendors - less crowded than the bustling Union Market across the street. Lots of diverse food options - vegan at Mita, casual El Salvadoran pupusas at La Casita, Argentian arepas at Mosaico (off shoot of Arepa Zone), Las Gemelas Taqueria, and its upscale sister restaurant Las Gemelas Cochina, boutique chocolate shop Arcay Chocolates, and a couple of other restaurants around the bar. There's communal outdoor seating, first come first serve. The yellow umbrellas are reserved for the sit-down Las Gemelas Cochina restaurant. I believe you can order food by scanning the QR code at the tables. After making a couple of rounds through the food court, I'm glad to try Las Gemelas Taqueria and the La Casita. Las Gemelas Taqueria (5/5) - Delicious petite tacos. While the Hongos taco was small, surprisingly the kale leafy greens paired well with the mushrooms and crunchy pepitas topped with mayo. The tacos are bite-size, so definitely order a few! The Pineapple Mule was refreshing and packed a punch. I'm not a big pineapple fan, but really enjoyed the cocktail, the ginger beer helped balance out the bold pineapple flavor. The guac was tasty but not enough for the abundance of lonely chips. La Casita (5/5) - Tasty cheesy pupusas, fun to try! The pupusas are like mini quesidillas, and the Vegamixta was stuffed with lorocco (green flower bud), refried beans, and cheese. While the ingredients were simple, the pupusa was bursting with flavor. Excited to come back for another culinary experience and explore other restaurants! read more

The staff was really fast to take my order. It took about 10 mins to receive it. I got the pupusa revuelta, which is pork & cheese. It also came with coleslaw and salsa. It was $4. I would say this is a great snack. I recommend ordering another one because you will get hungry. They do 2 for $11ish. I I would recommend eating in here. read more

El Cielo offers an elegant sampling of very tasty and very beautifully presented Columbian cuisine. The meal starts with a bit of magic and a bit of relaxation as hot water is poured on these little white tater tot looking things. Under the warm flow, they quickly expand into welcoming warm cloths that you can use to wipe your hands and refresh yourself before your meal begins. The cocktail menu has several selections that sounded really good and we ordered the Don't Give Papaya and La Playa. They were both very tasty and generous pours. Perhaps best of all, were the adorable presentations. One came in a beautiful copper pineapple and the other in a colorful sculpted tiger. What fun! After that, we enjoyed all three of the appetizers we ordered, the truffle bunuelo, the crab empanada and the aborrajado. The truffle bunuelo was our favorite course. It just burst with flavor in addition to being a beautiful little ball. The tree of life is a dramatic wire sculpture secured in a solid rock base that is topped with a colorful yucca bread acting as canopy. The stretchy and tasty bread is accompanied by a caramelized butter and another spread. Both are delicious. The drama continues with the corn soup which is poured at table and exudes a smoky mist that swirls around the bowl. And, yes, it is also very tasty with several mix ins of different flavors and textures. We had two entrees, one was lamb and the other was striped bass. The lamb was our only disappointment of the evening as it arrived a little more well done than expected and a not as hot. This may be that the restaurant was serving a full dining room who were eating a pre-arranged meal all at the same time. Perhaps the kitchen had to hold some of the meat on or off the grill in order to deliver all the plates at the same time? The fish, on the other hand, was decidedly better with a great sauce. For dessert, we were served a beautiful and light arrangement of cinamonny donuts and donut sticks with two flavors of sorbet. The berry one was our favorite. This planned dinner was very enjoyable but nothing can top El Cielo's 22 course experiential dinner which we were lucky enough to have, well, experienced, at an earlier date. That is super expensive but a very cool and delicious special evening out. The service at Ell Cielo was great and very friendly and professional down to the matching buns and suits worn by most of the female staff. They wove around the tables (and cute little purse tables) while Columbian music played at a good sound level in the background. The décor features a lot of wood and big glass windows as well as garage door walls which must be able to open in the warmer weather. There is plenty of parking in nearby garages (first three hours free) and on the street. read more

La Cosecha is a contemporary market celebrating Latin American culture. It's upscale, high-end, fancy, and gorgeous! (I caught myself taking photos of the architecture as we walked around!) It also has an amazing collection of vendors: Arcay Chocolates (Venezuelan chocolates), Café Unido (Panamanian coffee), Destino (an upscale Mexican restaurant), Grand Cata (a wine shop with food and snacks from all over Latin America), La Casita Pupuseria (Salvadoran pupusas), NOVA BOSSA (luxury lifestyle goods from Latin America and Brazil), Taqueria Las Gemelas (tacos!), and more! We spent about an hour or two in the market. We had brunch at Destino and then explored and shopped for a while longer (and left with some goods from NOA BOSSA)! The market is in the Union Market area and easy to find. I'd happily return on my next visit to DC - coffee and pupusas next time!? read more

I love La Cosecha. It's a delightfully designed and carefully curated. The space is big and bright and it's a got a great vibe and is a great place to work. I visit Cafe Unido and Grand Cata the most, but I love Mosaico and of course, La Casita. The home goods shops are delightful, with interesting, unique offerings. I really appreciate the outdoor space, too, which has lots of comfy seating and heaters. I'm always down for La Cosecha. read more
I love coming to this place to work and bring my laptop and just be in the mix. I had discovered this place last year and found out they have a parking garage behind it where you can Park up to 2 hours for free! If you're in this building. I can't believe I'm telling you all this because I'm trying to keep it a secret, but that's okay. Sharing is caring. If you walk inside and go upstairs, there's an area like an art gallery place where you can work quietly. The internet isn't that great and I would suggest that you bring your own hotspot or have an account with Xfinity or something so that you do not have interruption in your service. I typically go to the coffee shop inside called Unido. The coffee's pretty good and strong and I highly recommend this place as well. I think I put a review on that page so you can refer to that establishment. Overall, a great teleworking space with a variety of fast food places. It just so happens that I came here when Peruvian Brothers had their alpacas outside, that was pretty fun petting them:) read more
