Very disappointed. Been coming here since this place opened when I was a kid. We still drive an hour to come out here at least once a month but never again. They told me rudely that my service dogs couldn't wait with me for my togo order to be ready. They have been there a dozen times but whoever was working today were jerks. I give this place a 3/5 because the atmosphere is chill, I know a lot of people who enjoy going there, and the food isn't bad but, it's expensive! A panini is $10. I can't justify getting a panini and a mocha chiller and it costing me $15. I am pretty sure I saw that a foot long sandwich is $14 on its own. Their mocha chillers are really good. So I don't mind going to get one during the rare times that I want one. I also haven't had a bad serving experience there. I would like to try other things there but the price for just a sandwich leaves me preferring to go to other cafes in town with more filling options for less cost. read more

Great place for coffee. A bit off interstate 5, but well worth the few minutes drive for a great brew. Food is good, but the coffee will be the thing that will bring me back. Blues is the place in town where you can come in for a nice cup of coffee in the morning, have a delicious sandwich or pizza bagel for lunch, or have an ice cold beer at night all amongst great people where everyone knows your name. The service here is outstanding, family owned and super friendly. The cafe is a cool little place with leather couches, funky wall and ceiling art, a table in the front with SF Giants baseball cards underneath the glass. They have 8 bar stools for some bar seating with four beers on tap, plenty of bottled beer in the fridge. During the day they will play some soft and relaxing blues music to go along with the theme and name. The sandwiches here are hands down the best in town. The bread is always fresh and the meat and cheeses are piled high with the freshest of veggies to add to the mix. From the Gobbling Oinker to the Kitchen Sink (which has everything in it but the kitchen sink), you can't go wrong with any choice. You can order many different items like the delicious and town favorite pizza bagel, best tasting when eaten right away. They have salads and smoothies as well. A great item to order is the meat and cheese platter. It's a simple platter with the best garlic bread, some salami and two types of cheeses , one with a raspberry sauce added within and finally some spinach with balsamic vinegar drizzled over top... very good. Overall this is a great place to hang out in and meet others with a great ambience and excellent food and drinks. I dropped off my nugget at school and was craving a breakfast bagel sandwich. A quick Yelp search later and this little gem popped up on my radar. Now, I'm not one to shy away from any hole in the wall but this divey little spot is AMAZING! The owner is friendly and made me a special sandwich not on the menu: ham, bacon, eggs, onions, and tomatoes on a bagel. It was so tasty too! That and an Ocean Spray oj only put me out $7, you can't beat that. There's ample seating too. Couches, tables, a bar with tons of stools, even an outdoor patio with a nice breeze. After I finished eating, the owner made small talk and even mentioned that I could take a nap on one of the couches if I wanted, lol! I had work to do but next time for sure! read more

So I went gave it another shot here and called ahead and made sure they made me the salad I ask for which was the Chef Salad and was not dissapointed. The salad was really good I also ordered the Kitchen sandwich which was good also had lots of meat and veggies. This place is a gem on the Del Puerto strip and deserves your attention. The atmosphere is laid back and the blues are playing strong. The owner was kind and attentive. Hard to find service like that these days. Menu is fairly fleshed out with cold and hot sandwiches. We didn't get a chance to try the coffee, but it seemed popular with other patrons. We grabbed the hot pastrami and the hot roast beef. I'd recommend both of the sandwiches as they were packed with meat and quite flavorful. Oh and you've got a good selection of bread to throw them on. All in all, a great lunch. read more

Blues Cafe has been the place I go to in town when I want a cold beer and some good grub for over 16 years. They have the best sandwiches, bagels, and salads. Their wine is $3 a glass and pints of beer are ice cold and only$3 a pint or bottle. The employees are always super friendly and Blues is a great family spot. They always make me feel like family when I'm here. By the way, a pitcher of Budweiser is only $6.50 and their other beers are only $9 a pitcher. We love their Thursday night football games and small bites as well. They have outside seating where you can enjoy a cold one and smoke cigar also. Food is great. It'd be nice if they updated their menu once in awhile though. If they do, I haven't noticed. My only problem with this place is how the staff always seems to be bothered that they have to help you.
