Butter croissant, freshly cooked egg, melty cheese, warm ham. The bacon is that cheap super thin microwaveable bacon though. Had a good amount of cream cheese and the addition of jalapeños is a nice touch. It's definitely a small breakfast sandwich, as it is on a croissant and croissants are generally pretty small, so don't go here expecting it to be big! I don't think it was worth $9.45, but that's also because I added cream cheese and jalapeños, otherwise I think it's a pretty fair price at $7.25! Is it the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had? As always this wonderful donut shop is one of my favorite places to get stacked Vietnamese coffee. My daughters also enjoy their coffee and smoothies. They have leveled up their game with a variety of sandwiches that also include breakfast options and noodle soups. I personally have never tried one of their famous sandwiches, however every time I go get coffee or donuts they have multiple people placing sandwich orders. The staff were so sweet and kind I couldn't help but tip the great service! The place gives nostalgia vibes because my dad would take me to similar spots when I was younger. It was a nice spot even tho outside is rough around the edges (but that's how you know the food is good to be amazing)! Also if you're a coffee lover get you one of their extra strong Vietnamese coffees because it is the perfect balance of caffeine and flavor. Amazing coffee. Blended frappechino is my favorite. Kimberly usually makes my drink & she does a lovely job. She is very lovely herself. They all are very friendly & I would recommend getting a sandwich if you are in town. I've never eaten here I've always taken my order to go, but ive seen a few seats to sit & seems like a ok place to eat & drink food. 35 years in Modesto & I've never tried this place, just a month ago I had this place & I can't stop coming back.. got a free donut the other just for being me. Food is baked goods are fresh and warm. Food: I've ordered glazed donuts multiple times and the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant for breakfast. The donuts are fresh but not as glazed or sweet as I prefer, but still okay. The croissant was a perfect choice for breakfast. The bread was buttery, everything melted. The thing I did not like is that when I ordered it, the gentleman placed it in the microwave to heat up. I'm not a fan of microwaves, I would have preferred for it to be placed in a small toaster oven or toaster for a couple of minutes. That's my only con and why I gave it a 4. Location & parking: This spot is located in the west side of the city off of Paradise on the right side. While driving be ready to make a quick right into the small parking lot. It has maybe 10 parking spots. I've gone at different times of the day and have never had an issue but you may have to park on the street or on the neighborhood side if it is busy. If you drive quickly on the road it's easy to drive past it so slow up as you get near. The place itself is narrow and small. If there's 4 people, it already feels crowded by the cashier, but on the left side there are a few tables and chairs to hang out at. It's meant to be a stop and go location.
