This is our favorite donut shop in Modesto, and probably Central Valley / Nor Cal! We Donut is located on the corner of Oakdale and Scenic in Modesto, CA. There is ample parking, including handicap spaces available. This location is open 24/7 and if it will be closed for holidays or other reasons, there will be postings on the door. We Donut has minor seating indoor, a local wall of business cards and some of the best damn Apple Fritters you've ever laid eyes on. To the left you will see their menu, with hot and cold foods, sweet and savory, and a limited custom drink menu and variety drink fridge behind the counter. Inside you will be met with rows of delicious, fresh donuts and you can see the magic happen while they make all types of varieties right then and there in plain view for all to see, ogle, and gawk! My personal favorite is the fritter, but they are also known for their huge bear claws and cinnamon buns. You'll find classics as well and extra special treats like the cream filled bar! Service is amazing, the owners are so kind and they keep their prices incredibly competitive, the Apple Fritter here is $2.25, so I just have to get three of them to use my debit card with a $5 minimum purchase The store is cute and charming but we all come for the hot fresh 24/7 donuts and we keep coming back because they are that damn good and always available! read more

A solid donut spot if you're looking to get your fix in. I wouldn't say they're the most top tier, but they'll get the job done! The best one I tried was the French Cruller, it was so airy and perfectly sweet. The Bacon and Custard bars I thought were mid, nothing crazy. But they wanna be Apple Fritter disappointed me. There's zero actual apples in the batter, it's more like Apple flavoring while mimicking the texture of a true Apply Fritter. If you're not picky, you're totally fine. Amazing Ham & Cheese Croissants & Jalapeño, we got a dozen mixed donuts and they were delicious! We love left overs we also got the flavored mild blended, but my kids weren't a fan (I didn't realize it's not Tea as a base so my fault) , the Thai Tea was good just super sweet. Today I came in and found out that after 30+ years of hard work the owner retired, good for him, I am jealous. His niece is now running the shop and looks like they are putting in some new equipment and offering breakfast and other new items like Vietnamese coffee. Got Donuts delivered through doordash late last night. They are the only donut shop that delivers late night. I've heard good things about them, on a community app, so I ordered a dozen varied Donuts some cake some glazed Etc they sent a good selection, everything was fresh and delicious. Probably because it was doordash, the prices seemed a little on the high side. (19.99 for a regular dozen) I have seen signs of their price point and it should have been a bit less, but delivery costs and fees for the delivery service .. and I recognize that. I'd like to get by the store and see all of their offerings and get some fresh when I'm in that part of town. But it was certainly a wonderful middle of the night snack. If you want an actual great tasting donut this is by far the best donut shop in the area. They have an amazing variety to choose from. The service is great and the donuts are actually glazed all the way, fresh and not so greasy. If you want a donut shop that is great for their donuts and not their name just because they have been around forever even though it's not the same owner (Mr Ts) then WE donuts is definitely the place for you. Use to live up the street on Scenic and this was our go to spot to grab a quick dozen or small treat. My husband was definitely a regular and so it was nice to hear him chatting with the owners and the other staff members from time to time. We moved away not too long after the robbery and the accident with the owner's wife but still continued to help support their business until we left.
