Highly highly recommend if you're wanting a fresh, fluffy, delicious donut! The French Crullers are my personal favorite but you truly cannot go wrong with trying any of their flavors. You also gotta grab a Vietnamese coffee as well to pair with it! It's perfectly strong with a good amount of sweetness to balance out the bitterness from the strength of the caffeine read more

I visit this establishment occasionally and have never had an issue with the service until my most recent visit. A woman who appeared to be the owner looked right at me and immediately turned around to continue speaking with a vendor, without saying a word to acknowledge me. Even a quick "we will be right with you" would have been appreciated. The experience made me feel unwelcome, as though I was being judged by my appearance. I enjoy coming here and hope the customer service remains consistent for everyone. read more

Stopped by here on our way to Yosemite and we just had to pick up some Vietnamese coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The location is small but the staff were so friendly, the inside was very clean, and the drinks/food was delicious!! I'll definitely be stopping by any chance I get when passing by. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend you stop by! read more

We were visiting our hometown after moving out of state and stopped in specifically to get the ham & cheese croissant. It ended up in the trash. It tasted almost as if the flour was still raw. The cheese and ham was not nearly enough to be considered a ham & cheese croissant. Very disappointing! read more

Ok I'm so picky about my sprinkler donuts and these smacked! So good! I can't wait to try other ones. I also got the croissant sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and was also yummy. The service was great, and the inside is nice and clean. Would def go again read more

The donuts here are amazing. Love the family feel of the place. Kids were doing homework in the back. Love the atmosphere and again the donuts were incredible. The double chocolate old fashioned is life. read more

I've never been inside this place, but I ordered through DoorDash. I am always satisfied with the quality of the donuts and appreciate that the manager or owner always writes a nice thank you note on the box. I only remembered my original order when I heard the voicemail that they had to replace the raised donuts with cake donuts. Not a problem. I was content with a strawberry cake donut and my coffee. Our favorites are: Maple old-fashioned Glazed old-fashioned Chocolate anything (cake and raised) Strawberry anything (cake and raised) I splurged on a jelly-filled donut for Mother's Day. It was messy and delicious and shared it with my son. read more

Called in the morning. They made me sandwiches for the office, and they even cut them up in pieces for me, and they were ready in like 15 minutes. I was stressing because I needed food for the office and they made the process so easy. Even got some donuts once I went in and everyone said the sandwiches were amazing. Found this little gem on my way to another donut place but I was in a hurry and I had to quickly grab breakfast and leave . I saw the donut sign from a far and decided to give it a try. I clearly remember seeing a man eating a delicious looking sandwich and I decided to copy his order . It's safe to say I've been back every time I'm town. The service is super friendly . The man who seems to be the owner is funny and truly seems to enjoy his job. I've tried a variety of sandwiches and they are all delicious. Lastly I get a ham and egg add bacon. A donut and a tasty Vietnamese coffee more sweet than strong. By far my favorite spot in town happy I found it especially on a fluke. read more

Wonderful place. Super nice customer service. I'm not an employee and they are great. Love. Gave us free donut holes. Tell your friends and family!! Come out and support. Only downside no little water dispenser. So great other than that. read more

The staff was friendly, but overall, I thought it was "meh." The donuts looked good, but they were ice cold at 10am. The coldness gave them a kind of weird texture. The taste was good, though. There wasn't a lot of options. I didn't see any of the beautifully decorated donuts that others posted photos of. I thought that I might have been in the wrong donut shop, but it was definitely Donut Basket. I also rate restaurants based on whether they are accessible, family friendly, and offer a military/first responder/hero discount. It was not very accessible. It was crowded with a lot of extra chairs that would make it difficult for a wheelchair to turn around in. There were no restrooms available, which meant no place for our kids to wash up in. They also do not offer any discounts. I would not return again. There are a lot of other donut shops in the area that would be a better value. read more

Great new donut place! The owners are always so friendly and kind! Their donuts are big and fresh. We haven't had a chance to try the sandwiches, but they look delicious! They're dealing with COVID-19 the right way, and we appreciate that. Thank you! I'm happy to support the small guy in town! Keep up the good work! We'll keep going back! read more

Donuts here are fluffy and not too sweet. I'm new to the area and during this shelter in place. I was craving for some donuts on a Sunday morning. I was planning to order online but decided to call to make sure they open. Surely enough , they were open! This nice lady over the phone said that I should either order and pick up or just come to the shop and not waste money on delivery charges or services. So I placed an order with her since I just want to go in, pick up and leave. When we arrived, my husband went in to pick up the order and paid. On the box, she wrote my name and thank you plus she added some donuts hole (that's a plus). read more

We've been somewhat regulars here when in town. Nothing spectacular, but just a satisfying experience when yearning for a good ol' donut. Good donuts and friendly service. What else can you ask for from a donut shop. read more

Donuts are always fresh and the sandwiches are always delicious I take my family at least twice a week for donuts before school

I ordered a donut delivery to my friend in Modesto, and it arrived super quickly. She and her family LOVED the donuts! I got a dozen large donuts, and it came out to ~$30 with tip and delivery. Really reasonable price, given the size and quality of the donuts. The delivery person was also really friendly--she texted and called to make sure I received the donuts (which she left on the doorstep for a contactless delivery). read more

Donuts are huge. They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I ate a chocolate twist and was full before I could finish it. It had a nutty flavor, I'm thinking cause of the oil, unfortunately I was left with an oily after taste, I probably would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for that. 6 twist/$8 12 donut holes $1.75 Got a freebie probably for being a first time customer (I mentioned it). Service was awesome! Very friendly staff, made conversation with me and played with my infant. Establishment is very organized and very clean. read more

Donut Basket - Huge donuts! - Donuts Near Me - Modesto, California

I really wanted to like this place, great location, friendly staff, good service :( Why the 3 stars? First, arrived around 8:30am, was craving boba tea and a sandwich, ordered the Black thai tea, they didnt have it. Ok, ordered the Taro instead, didn't have that either. :/ Oookay, how about a Mocha?? Yes!! Score!! Then proceed to order a ham & cheese sandwich. Waiting time was short, I got my food and went home. As I tried to drink my boba tea, the pearls were stuck together!! I'm not talking about a small clump, more like a spoon sized big glob of pearls. There's still a few big chunks of ice cubes too, didn't blend it all that well. Not long after, I was having the worst stomach cramps!! Won't go into details but I couldn't eat anything throughout the day. I'm sorry but gonna have to pass on Donut Basket. read more

Ok first off, how cute is the little recorded greeting when you open the door?! And on top of that, the workers personally greet you too! I personally look for local mom and pop coffee shops because they always have the best coffee and donuts. I did not get their names, but the two ladies working when my boyfriend and I went in were so kind and friendly. Customer service was outstanding! We placed our orders and they really took care of us. The coffee was amazing and the donut and breakfast sandwich were just what we needed to revive us from our night before. read more

Even their sandwiches are delicious! This is our go to place. We now like their donuts more than another very popular place in town. They are always fresh, and you never get that oily taste. We take out of town guest here now. This place is clean, with very friendly staff. But again, their sandwiches are BOMB, must try one of those croissant sandwiches! read more

I'll never go to Mr. T's again! The donuts and pastries at Donut Basket are perfectly soft and sweet- never greasy. They also make sandwiches, which are hella bomb as well. Love the doughnuts! My kids love them and also the breakfast sandwiches are delicious!

The donuts are good but you need to go early in the morning to have a wide selection. I went at 11:00 & they had about 8-10 different varieties & no glazed or donut holes. They don't continue to make donuts throughout the day so when they run out you're SOL. If you want a wide variety & fresh donuts 24/7 then go to Mr. T's. I haven't tried the sandwiches but I will eventually. The cream-filled chocolate donut was great! read more

I have ordered from here more than plenty and the donuts are perfect. Fluffy and perfect amount of sweet. I have always gotten all the donuts I request and the delivery is always on time. Another thing that stood out to me was they always right a note on the box saying thank you, for me that is very personable and sweet. I will continue to order from here whenever my family and I need a donut craving satisfied. read more
