We were visiting our hometown after moving out of state and stopped in specifically to get the ham & cheese croissant. It ended up in the trash. It tasted almost as if the flour was still raw. The cheese and ham was not nearly enough to be considered a ham & cheese croissant. Very disappointing! read more

Stopped by here on our way to Yosemite and we just had to pick up some Vietnamese coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I am always satisfied with the quality of the donuts and appreciate that the manager or owner always writes a nice thank you note on the box. I only remembered my original order when I heard the voicemail that they had to replace the raised donuts with cake donuts. Not a problem. I was content with a strawberry cake donut and my coffee. Found this little gem on my way to another donut place but I was in a hurry and I had to quickly grab breakfast and leave . I saw the donut sign from a far and decided to give it a try. I clearly remember seeing a man eating a delicious looking sandwich and I decided to copy his order . It's safe to say I've been back every time I'm town. The service is super friendly . The man who seems to be the owner is funny and truly seems to enjoy his job. I've tried a variety of sandwiches and they are all delicious. Lastly I get a ham and egg add bacon. I thought that I might have been in the wrong donut shop, but it was definitely Donut Basket. I also rate restaurants based on whether they are accessible, family friendly, and offer a military/first responder/hero discount. It was not very accessible. It was crowded with a lot of extra chairs that would make it difficult for a wheelchair to turn around in. There were no restrooms available, which meant no place for our kids to wash up in. Ok first off, how cute is the little recorded greeting when you open the door?! And on top of that, the workers personally greet you too! I personally look for local mom and pop coffee shops because they always have the best coffee and donuts. I did not get their names, but the two ladies working when my boyfriend and I went in were so kind and friendly. Customer service was outstanding!
