Customer service was awful on Sunday Oct 19,2025. While the owner's daughter was helping me with my order, she stopped when a male customer walked in. She left my donuts on a tray & started making him a drink. I don't know why she didn't finish helping me? She only had to put my donuts in a box or bag and take my payment. She didn't apologize or say anything to me. I should've walked out. I will not be going back. That was rude ! Unprofessional! Every customer matters ! read more

Been going to Valley Donuts for about 7 years now I go about once a week. I go for the coffee but always grab a treat. I've tried the donuts, the croissants, the turnovers but the best part about this place is the service. The owner and her husband are always genuinely happy to see me. I unfortunately got here when they were about to close after 3:30pm. They close at 4pm. There wasn't much left as far as donuts. I bought a maple bar , a chocolate bar , & a apple fritter. Donuts were ok . Lady who owns the shop was nice. I still prefer Mr. T's any day. read more

I've been to Valley Donuts a handful of times and each time the owners have always been friendly, which is why I gave two stars. The reason for my review is because the last two times I've been there, there has been mold on the donuts and the muffins I purchased. The first time I found mold on the poppyseed muffin I purchased. I called to inform them about the mold and the person working offered to refund my money, but I declined because I didn't want to drive all the way back just for a few dollars. My call was simply to inform them about the mold just in case there was mold on any other muffins so they could discard of them. They told me they don't make the muffins, they buy them from Costco, so they must've been past their expiration date. Today, I was hesitant to stop here for donuts but I decided to. Again, the staff was friendly as always. I bought a sugar donut and a raspberry filled donut. I was about to tear off a piece when I noticed green specks on the sugar donut. I looked on the back of the raspberry filled donut and there were a few spots of mold as well. I will not be back, it seems like a reoccurring problem. read more

Hate to admit that we come here at least once a week! So bad, but OH SO GOOD! Kids love the maple bars and their glaze donuts just melt in your mouth. Hubby has the sweet tooth in our family and so he will demolish half a dozen of these particular donuts in less than 15 mintues. They are that good. It's a family owned "mom and pop" local business and I am all for supporting local business especially their portion sizes for donuts are so big and so yummy! read more

"Mom & pop" shop, family business and they are super friendly. I don't think you will find a more perfect donut any.where.else!!! I don't know what they do to them, but the lady said her husband makes them fresh everyday with quality ingredients. It definitely shows! I've never had a greasy or oily donut from here (gross!). They're always soft and taste fresh. I'm not a huge donut fan, and can take it or leave it, but anytime I am near Riverbank, this place is a "must." Even my boyfriend has wanted to make the 1.5 hr. drive just for their donuts. You won't be disappointed. read more
