So I usually don't like to write reviews anymore because I know they're going to be bad most of the time, but there's only so many food selections in Riverbank and I am one of those people that happens to love Taco Bell but this location I don't understand what it is but they always somehow messed up my order every time. I either get burnt old potatoes or they messed up on my Chalupa's and I always order the same thing. Today I ordered a number six which is Chalupa's with no tomatoes or sour cream and what do you know I get Chalupa's with just chicken and cheese. Don't give me wrong chicken and cheese is great I love it but if I wanted lettuce why way to put lettuce in it. But anyhow that's something that's easily fixable might just going in I guess. But then again I asked for freeze a large Baja blast freeze and since it was an add-on at the window they gave it to me and it was just ripping them so full it was stripping no no I got a clean my car too. Horrible service. They all ignore anyone who walks into the lobby. I sat there for five minutes and had them all stare at me while they did nothing. Then I had to yell to get someone's attention so I can pick up my order and the man had the audacity to say "hurry up and confirm the order we are on a timer". I specifically asked for fresh fries when I placed my nacho fry order. The young man in drive thru was polite, he said, "no problem". I received my fries, started to drive off and went to touch the fries and they were not even warm. I parked and walked in. The same young man from drive thru greeted me so I reminded him of wanting fresh fries. I asked him to please touch them so he knew how nasty they were. The new fries were amazing, all 8 fries they gave me. I totally understand I chose to goto a fast food place but customer service is becoming comical. This has got to be the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to . I just bought a house next to this Taco Bell. Every time I have came here to pick up food they have forgot a item or 2. I called to let them know that I placed my order for pick up at the restaurant and the lady told me that the dining room was closed due to staffing issues. She asked if i wanted my receipt, and i thought nothing of it, and told her i didnt want it. Hindsight, i should have kept it so I could complain about it more because, no big surprise, but once again, I've been ripped off by this Taco Bell. I have not had Taco Bell in a few years. Was visiting family in Riverbank and someone suggested Taco Bell. When the order got back to the house my crunch wrap was missing. Called and spoke to Maria. She was pleasant on the phone, that's not normal, so I was pleasant back . It's not really a difficult task all, I swear. She asked the name of the person coming in. My step dad went back and went inside to find a rather large line of customers. He said a kind employee asked if he was Jay. He confirmed and she said they would have the order ready shortly. He did not have a long wait. Another shout out to Maria for recognizing him. C'mon all. I see people complaining about the staff being young, overwhelmed and a whole host of other things. I ordered two Taco Supremes and one burrito supreme with green sauce instead of red sauce as I was pulling out I took a look in the bag and to my surprise there was only one taco! So I pulled in and let them know that I was missing the taco, had a my receipt... so I received the second taco. I went home, open my burrito and it's red sauce! So if I would not have gone into the Taco Bell I would have come home with one taco supreme because the burrito supreme I couldn't eat because I don't like their red sauce. They can't seem to keep orders straight. I always come home missing an item or two from my order that I was charged for. They can never keep their promotions straight, and usually forget something or miscount with their box deals. I don't have anything against the workers there though. It's clear they're trying hard despite the high employee turnover rate. I suspect the issue lies in training and management. You have better luck if you dine in, and it's a nice location with things to do around it, but the quality is going downhill fast. It's usually pretty clean, empty a lot for good reasons, and I've been to worse Taco Bells in town. Just don't expect for your order to be right first try, and always park out front and count your food against what's on your receipt before you leave. I wasn't in a huge hurry so I didn't mind waiting, especially when I saw the sign for the "Happier Hour" where drinks are $1 from 2-5pm. I ended up ordering before 2pm, but by the time I got up to pay she said it counted the discount. Basically, I just love this promotion because it makes an inexpensive place even more cheap.
