This location is usually not too busy. The staff is always welcoming and quick to get our order to us. We ordered 2 baja burritos and an order of fish Tacos. Baja Fresh is one of the only places I will eat fish tacos. They are delicious. And the chicken baja burritos are always delicious. The restaurant is clean and plenty of seating. I do miss that they removed the salsa bar after COVID but you can still get cups of salsa from the counter workers. read more

We got delivery from Baja Fresh today and I'm still upset! I'm not a picky eater but the one thing I just can't tolerate is black beans so before I ordered I always look to be sure I can choose pinto beans instead of black beans, which I did and they allowed me to check a box and change my option to pinto beans but still today my taco salad got here FULL of black beans and the carnitas, my favorite, was tender but had very little flavor... when we rated our meal we stated the issue and even though I had no dinner, Uber Eats only refunded us $2 for a $15+ meal because m complaint didn't warrant a refund but DoorDash always refunds anything that major 100% and we've never had an issue with them! So, we are done with both this restaurant and this delivery service too, we'll stick with DoorDash and their very long list of restaurants! I hope this helps someone. read more

I came in at 8pm, they close and 9pm the lady behind the counter "with a dirty look on her face scooping ice out of the front counter ice box" looking irritated that I even came in. I asked for corn... no corn, I hear her tell the lady in front of me no nachos when you could see the chips right in front of us. Huge amount.... The lady asked for beyond meat none... Total fail, no chips, what the heck, mexican restaurant with no chips, unacceptable, the place was dirty too, floor was really bad dirty and broken tiles all over the place. We love Baja Fresh! The one in Pleasant Hill closed in 2019 or so, but I'm glad this location is still open so we can get our fix when we visit family. The chicken tacos on corn tortillas are a staple for us. The chips are always delicious, and the dark medium salsa is good on everything. I recently tried the shrimp tostada and it might be my new favorite thing on the menu. The fish tacos are also very good, but the shrimp was so perfectly cooked this time, I was impressed. Also, if you're lactose intolerant, you may want to skip the refried beans. Delicious as they are, I have a reaction every time I have them. The black beans seem okay though! read more

The customer service here sucks !!! Everytime I come here they have such sour faces and they look absolutely Miserable. One time I was actually about to ask her if she hates her job because her customer service was that poor. But I left it because everyone has a bad day. However it's consistent. Yes, it's served fast, but the ingredients are so fresh and taste so healthy it's hard to believe it's in the same category as, let's say, McDonalds. The portions are huge and they are definitely NOT skimpy. Do you know what that means? It means 51 to 60 pieces of shrimp add up to a lb. The wholesale rate of that size shrimp is less than $4.00/lb. And what does THAT mean??? That means at the rate you are paying, $4 for a shrimp taco, you are buying 51-60 shrimps but only getting 4. Which also means Baja Fresh is giving you $0.26 cents worth of shrimp for $4 LOL. In other words, that's barely over 1oz of Shrimp. That is pretty much you paying $58/lb for that Shrimp!!! I know it's a business and it's business model is for profit, but after seeing my 9 year old step son get two shrimp tacos with no cilantro and onions... spent $8 on him and seeing that sad little plate..... which he still looked hungry, and after paying 8 bucks on something that costed that company $0.50 to make... I ordered the chicken Baja bowl and there was more beans than anything else in there. Maybe if you ask for no beans then it'll be better or less beans than usual! I hate the customer service here! Many times my younger brother and I went to Baja Fresh. I ordered everything correctly but,somehow they kept messing up the kid's order!
