The big mouth bites are delicious! They come with 4 sliders and 1 side for almost $19.00. They have mini burgers on mini buns with bacon bits, American cheese, and onions. I asked for no onions and my bacon bits to be crispy, plus got mayo on the side. I chose corn as my side dish. They no longer have the corn on the cob, it comes in a bowl. That is ok by me. My friends both ordered the "3 for me" meals. Friend one got the big crispy chicken with French fries, enchilada soup, and an iced tea. Friend two got the smashed burger, corn, enchilada soup with the tortilla strips on side, so they don't get soggy, and an iced tea. We ordered chips and salsa for the table, with the queso bowl add-on for $5.00 and some change. We actually ordered two! It is so good. Hasn't been to chilis in years and I don't know why the food was really good. I got the chicken sandwich that's on the 1399 deal comes with an appetizer and a drink really good price we came after my daughter's graduation and the waiter gave her a dessert to celebrate for free. We order take out and eat there alot and we have occasional issues with togo. sometimes things are missing out of the take out orders, luckily we live close by if we have to run back which isnt great but whatever. Today our take out order included a side of ranch in a to go cup and the ranch had a grilled seasoned shrimp at the bottom of the cup. When my husband went to dip his fry it hit something and he pulled it out to find a shrimp. None of our to go order included shrimp. And how a shrimp ended up in the ranch is beyond me. This is super unsettling and if my husband was allergic this could of been a deadly mistake. Gabby the manager was nice and apologetic, shes not sure how this happened. We will try to trust that this wont happen again because we do love chillis and usually dont have a problem with the food itself. Just letting it be known. Be careful with what you cant see. Ohhhhh.....too much good food and too many good choices! It's really hard to decide, unless of course you bring someone with you and then you can order it all and split it! My mouth is watering now. We also chose the mozzarella sticks (which are massive and EXTREME cheese pulls) and the sliders (which has a clean beef flavor). What a great combo and I was already full. We also ordered the chips and salsa, because, well, it's mandatory! Chili's has some of the best chips and salsa. Especially if you get the lucky chip (which is a chip that all of them are fried together). We split the half a slab rib with the loaded, fries and brisket quesadillas. The other entrée was the sirloin with shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes with steamed vegetables. Holy cow....I felt like I needed a wheelbarrow to take me to my car! What a great meal and a wonderful server! You can't go wrong with any choice on the menu and there is always a special happening at Chili's to make it affordable for the entire family to eat. Before I get to the reason for the 2 stars, let me start with the good. We each ordered the 3 for me meal deal. We all ordered the smash burgers and fries. The burgers were very good and the fries were hot and we'll seasoned. We ordered the enchilada and potato soup. Both were good. The chips were served warm and fresh. The service was good. Now for the bad. As we were eating, a large cockroach ran under the booth we were setting in. If you see one cockroach in broad daylight, you can bet there are hundreds more coming out of the woodwork after the store closes. Had to share what a great service and food experience my family and I had today. 5/3/26. From entry the service was 100... friendly, an engaging staff. Our server Derik was top tier, and on his game , so so pleasant and was the perfect amount of checkin from a customer perspective. All the food runners that helped at our table, smiled with every interaction and was extremely pleasant . We come into Chili's every now and again to have some greasy food to share amongst us. I do enjoy the Don Julio margarita my guilty pleasure as well as that chocolate lava cake. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because our server Kendra was amazing! She was so nice, very attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. She checked on us about 10-12 times. She was well put together, and had a great personality. Now the bad.. we waited for 30 minutes to be seated and when it was our turn, they wanted to seat us in the bar. 1st. There was a game on and it was super loud. 2. We wanted to be able to talk to each other. When we said we didn't want to sit there the attitudes totally changed and started whispering and talking about us. I guess that's what children do. We should have been asked if we wanted to sit in there. There were also way to many people standing around the hostess counter, doing nothing. I've attached a picture. I can't lie I wasn't that excited, because there are not many Chili's in San Jose and the food is just OK. We do our walk at the mall and decided to get a bite to eat, first tired using the Charley's Cheese steak app to order lunch with a 2 for $10 small sandwiches only to continually getting nowhere but problems that wouldn't resolve, so we decided to leave and eat at Chili's across the mall instead, a MUCH BETTER IDEA!!!!
