Picture it... it's an early Tuesday evening (about 5:00) we walk into the bar area and although the booths and tables were filled (about 6 in total) the bar had nobody sitting at it and the high top tables were empty. So it wasn't busy. It took about almost 10 minutes for us to be acknowledged. Once we were acknowledged we realized that the bartender was also the server and the bartender for the bar and the entire restaurant. We ordered our drinks and appetizer of chips and salsa right away and to our surprise they came out pretty quickly. We ordered our food and waited... and waited... and waited. The table next to us who sat down after us was greeted pretty quickly and they orders after us yeah their food was out about 10 minutes before ours. I ordered a cheeseburger and I must say I was looking forward to this cheeseburger. I was deeply disappointed! The burger was smothered in mustard, the onion and the tomato couldn't even stay on the burger. The shredded lettuce (which I must say has no place on a burger) was wilted and the bun was crisped so bad it was hard. The patty was dry dry dry and the cheese looked like it had been melted and sat under a heating lamp. The fries were the only thing appetizing on the plate. The bartender/server was attentive and made sure our drinks were always full but unfortunately that does not make up for the fact that the food was old dry and really inedible. They did not appear short staffed as there was a lot of employees walking around or in the back yet nobody was really attentive to the dining areas. We went here spur of the moment. Chilis was able to accommodate a party of 11 for a 30 minute wait or so. We had Priscilla was our server and she was absolutely lovely!! The cutest and she made sure we all had everything we needed. Repeated our order to us to ensure no mess ups. The food was great. The drinks were good. But this particular day, we went with my grandchildren.
