I've been to this Chili's before. And this time they were certainly on their A game. The server was very friendly, the food was fast. It was busy in there, but we were seated immediately. My food was very tasty and it makes me wanna go back again.

Boneless Wings Fried Mozzarella Big Mouth Bites Chips & Salsa

Ohhhhh.....too much good food and too many good choices! It's really hard to decide, unless of course you bring someone with you and then you can order it all and split it! Whoootie whooo, which is EXACTLY what my daughter and I did! We started with the triple appetizer with the boneless chicken with sweet and spicy sauce which was tangy and slightly spicy. My mouth is watering now. We also chose the mozzarella sticks (which are massive and EXTREME cheese pulls) and the sliders (which has a clean beef flavor). What a great combo and I was already full. We also ordered the chips and salsa, because, well, it's mandatory! Chili's has some of the best chips and salsa. Especially if you get the lucky chip (which is a chip that all of them are fried together). We split the half a slab rib with the loaded, fries and brisket quesadillas. The other entrée was the sirloin with shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes with steamed vegetables. Holy cow....I felt like I needed a wheelbarrow to take me to my car! What a great meal and a wonderful server! You can't go wrong with any choice on the menu and there is always a special happening at Chili's to make it affordable for the entire family to eat. Wonderful decorations on the inside and they even have a game tablet at the table

Lava cake

We come into Chili's every now and again to have some greasy food to share amongst us. I do enjoy the Don Julio margarita my guilty pleasure as well as that chocolate lava cake. Staff are welcoming and at this location we have never had an unfriendly waiter/waitress. This location looks kept up not sure if they gave it a makeover, but it's not bad.

Big ol bag of chips

Michelin? No. Chili's in Modesto? Absolutely. Look, I wasn't expecting greatness -- it's Chili's, not Nobu. But the Modesto Chili's? Whole different beast. Place was packed like a Costco sample aisle on a Saturday. I'm talking chaos. But somehow, the service? Flawless. Our server (summer) was moving like a caffeinated ninja, cool af too. refilling drinks, taking orders, and still smiling like they just got a raise. Now the food -- shockingly amazing. Better than any other Chili's !!! I've been to (yes, even the fancy ones off I-5). Everything came out hot, fast, and seasoned like someone back there actually cares. But the highlight? I asked for chips to go, and they hit me with a bag the size of a toddler. No warning, no extra charge -- just, "Here's some fresh ones to take home." I thought it was a prank. It wasn't. Modesto Chili's, you didn't have to go that hard... but you did.

Noticed people returning water, did mine too. It tasted like metal.

First time eating here at this location... Service was okay. Little sloppy when serving. Food was ok, French fries served cold with chicken sandwich. Would probably not get it again. The girl brining salad, brought additional salad with no croutons, as she was walking towards us she spilled it on the floor, the sauce was still on the bowl.

Employees standing around gossiping.

The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because our server Kendra was amazing! She was so nice, very attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. She checked on us about 10-12 times. She was well put together, and had a great personality. Now the bad.. we waited for 30 minutes to be seated and when it was our turn, they wanted to seat us in the bar. 1st. There was a game on and it was super loud. 2. We wanted to be able to talk to each other. When we said we didn't want to sit there the attitudes totally changed and started whispering and talking about us. I guess that's what children do. We should have been asked if we wanted to sit in there. There were also way to many people standing around the hostess counter, doing nothing. I've attached a picture. There were a few of them that really need to work on their appearance as well. Not what I want to see when my food is being served. It will be a while before I go back.

My party was seated fairly quickly. Our waitress took all our orders by memory - we were a party of 8! I got the Chicken Marsala: Chicken, sauce, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and gravy. I started off with the mixed veggies - they were cooked soft, just how I like them. They were also flavorful! Not just regular ole steamed frozen veggies, they definitely were buttered and seasoned or something. Next, the mashed potatoes. I'm not a mashed potato connoisseur - matter of fact, I usually skip eating mashed potatoes when they're available. These mashed potatoes however were so flavorful! And it was not only the gravy doing all the talking, it was both the mash and the gravy. I was impressed! Lastly, the chicken Marsala. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, moist on the inside & fully cooked - and with chicken breast, we all know how hard that is to accomplish. The sauce was incredible. I have never had any Marsala sauce as good as that. So much flavor, very savory. Altogether, the flavors worked together and worked perfectly. If only I wasn't an hour away, I would come here more often. I hope to be here again someday!

Unfortunately the bread was not edible due to the taste of old grease. I simply discarded the bread and ate the 2 piece of turkey and bits of bacon. My son enjoyed the Tri-itip, but again the grilled bread tasted of old grease. He enjoyed the fries as well. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, but at these prices, and the taste of old grease from the grill, I could not recommend this restaurant. The bill was $39.97 and we did not have anything to drink! Go democrats! Lol!

There are a few restaurants that share the parking so there is very limited parking. We had to go around twice to find a parking spot. We had reservations and were sat promptly. They had live music playing in the background, which is nice. We couldn't see it so I didn't know where they were at. It is designed in a circular way where the bar is in the middle so you cannot see across. We were greeted by our server and he was very attentive. He gave us some great recommendations and he was very pleasant. We started with the fig bruschetta and that was a 10 out of 10. It had little bacon bits on top which added a layer of flavor. We also had the spinach and artichoke crab dip, which was 10 out of 10. We added extra crostinis which is recommended. For a drink, I had the Cosmo, which was nice and refreshing. I also had a taste of the Old Glory and that was a nice refreshing twist on the old-fashioned, which was recommended by our server. I had the Calabrian Chile Shrimp Scampi over pappardelle pasta and it was the 10 out of 10. The layers of flavor with the capers, lemon, bacon and spice was perfect! I tried a piece of the crusted halibut, which was very moist and flavorful as well as the salmon. All was great on flavor. For dessert we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, which is a huge brownie. I would say it's good for four people. I also tried the apple pie cheesecake which was very good and the mixed berry crumble that tasted fresh. I ordered an espresso martini to try it and it looked a little messy on the glass. As for taste, I felt like the Vodka drowned out the espresso notes. 6/10 As mentioned, our server was very friendly and attentive however he did fail to bring ice water when requested, but overall great experience .

The vibe was super chill and inviting, especially with the live music playing. It created such a relaxed, fun atmosphere where we could just unwind and keep enjoying our time together. We ended up sharing a pizza, which was actually really good, and paired it with dessert cocktails that hit the spot. Everything felt easy and enjoyable, not rushed at all. The staff was really nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The inside has a modern feel to it very clean, stylish, and just a really comfortable space to hang out. What I loved most was the overall energy of the place it felt like a great mix of cozy and lively at the same time. Perfect for winding down, catching up, and just enjoying the moment. Definitely a place I'd come back to for a relaxed night out with good music, drinks, and bites

As any parent knows, this is not just a toy, it's everything. We were heartbroken. Not only did the staff find her, but they went completely above and beyond in the most thoughtful and creative way. When we got her back, Baby Bear had her own name tag and even photos of her hard at work around the restaurant. They turned a stressful situation into something magical and unforgettable for my daughter. It meant more to us than they probably realize. On top of that, the food was excellent and the service during our visit was just as wonderful, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. This is the kind of place that truly cares about their customers. We'll absolutely be back, without Baby Bear as she is officially on house arrest! We'll be telling this story for years to come.

Delicious as always…read more My family and I decided to stop by Texas Roadhouse to use up some gift cards. This was on the Friday night before Valentine's Day, around 6:15pm. We called ahead to put ourselves on the list to be seated. We arrived at the parking lot a few minutes before our scheduled time, texted that we arrived, and were immediately told to head to the host table. When we got to the front of the restaurant, we noticed that they had a different set-up than the last time we ate there. Rather than checking in inside, you must meet the host outside. This did not seem to be the most organized system as it led to a large crowd of people waiting at the front. There was the vague idea of a line which turned out to just be a mass of people cutting each other to get to the host table. We quickly met the host who immediately sent us to the indoor waiting area. We were told to wait at a specific number for the host to take us to our table. We waited there for about 5 minutes before we were taken to the outside seating area. As someone who is young and doesn't mind loud music, I would say the volume of the music in there was outrageous. I understand that that is the vibe of the place, but I have never been in a restaurant so loud that I can't hear the person sitting directly next to me. Our waitress came quickly to take our drink orders, bring them back, and take our food orders. I ordered the nine piece grilled shrimp and substituted the rice for a Caesar Salad. For my sides, I got the Loaded Baked Potato and Mac n Cheese. The salad was brought out first and I was genuinely surprised at how much dressing was on it. I usually like a salad with heavier dressing, but this was almost too much. The salad was literally swimming in the dressing to the point of it being soggy. When they brought the entrees out, I noticed that they didn't actually substitute the rice and brought it out anyway (but hey I'm not going to complain)! The shrimp was nice and juicy. The rice was seasoned nicely and the mac n cheese with cheesy and hot. It didn't have the most flavor but it wasn't bad. The loaded baked potato was extremely loaded. I am grateful that they are generous with the toppings, but there was so much bacon I had to scrape some of it off. I was extremely satisfied with my meal, as were my parents who joined me. Our server was very friendly! She came by to check on refills and to ask if we needed anything often. The food came out quickly and as ordered. Everything was basically perfect! I would just prefer to not be seated in the stiff outside tables. Can't wait to go back!

They were just good people who enjoyed what they did and that was awesome. The only annoying thing was it took three tries to get someone to bring a container so we could take one of the sandwich wraps home. The restaurant was clean, spacious, well lit, and cheerful. I appreciated the theme of the movie posters on the wall. That was clever. The food on the other hand was just ok. The fries lacked flavor on their own and could use salt or something. If it wasn't for the garlic on the one fries and whatever it was my wife had on hers those fries would have had no flavor at all. The wrap could have used more dressing, otherwise it was really bland. I had the burger with the egg on it. I forget the name. It had the same problem. Just a lack of flavor. The egg was overcooked. It would have been better if it was sunny side up so the yolk could run. I think it had bacon on it and cheese but I didn't taste either of those. The entire burger was just unremarkable sadly. Would I eat here again? Probably not. If I want a good place to go hang out with friends who work then sure. The staff was great. I just wish the food measures up to how cool they were.
