I treated my mom to a head spa for a gift and we absolutely loved it. The whole spa was spacious and very clean. I loved how there are so many different tiers to choose from. We were serviced right away and the whole experience was so relaxing. We got changed to our robes and slippers and spent the morning feeling so calm and relaxed. When we left, our head and hair felt amazing! This is a really good place to treat someone or have a girls day since they have multiple stations.

I've been trying out different head spas over the past couple years both on my own and with friend recommendations. This is one I visited last month on a whim based on location as I was in the area. To date, and at least 5-6 head spas later, this was hands down the best experience!!! I made an appointment the day before. The reservation has a deposit (like every other one I've been to). Balance is paid upon arrival. I was asked if i would like pictures and to not only feel the experience, i was curious visually as well,, so of course i said yes. This one was so different and hands down the most relaxing. Not only was it nicely decorated and inviting just walking in, the session matched in energy and warmth. Ivy was amazing! She took such great care of me and provided wonderful pictures so I saw what happened behind the scenes while I was relaxing. The experience had so many different elements, for the first time, I wasn't getting bored. This is the one I plan to go back to. This experience was worth the price.

What a treat and what a surprise for me! We did a sister day at Blue Moon Head Spa to celebrate my birthday. I had no idea a place like this existed. It was a nice and relaxing head massage and shampoo. I loved the hair shower gadget. They give you a cute strapless top, robes and slippers to wear. Overall, it was a good experience. There are several lay down beds for where the head messages and shampoos take place. Located at the very back of the shop is seating to accommodate four blow dryings at at time. In the same area are lockers , one dressing room and one bathroom to change. On the Saturday we were there, it was packed and really cramped to move around. They push a lot to review . . . this bothers me a bit. A place worth reviewing doesn't need to push for reviews. Anyway, if you are in need of some calming rest and relaxation, Blue Moon Head Spa is worthwhile. Probably best to go during the week to avoid the crowds.

OMG this place is amazing! Literally it is a deep tissue massage for the scalp and face including neck and shoulders. I made a reservation for the Platinum Package and it was worth each penny. 1 hour and a half of oils, moisturizers everything to massage the scalp and face. The fresh look and feeling is amazing. You check in the place and you get a robe and like a tube dress. Then you go to your station. My therapist was Helen, she was amazing!! Next time I will request her again. She even anticipated that I would want pics and video of my experience that she gave me at the end of my session. Place is small, clean and is in a shopping with lots of parking.

If u could rate this place 10 stars I would! I have been to a few head spas, but this one really took first place. I got the top service and it was amazing. No notes. I am zen now

Who doesn't love a head massages? What a nice way to spend an hour. Grianne gave me an enjoyable relaxing massage. We did a sister day for one of our birthdays. Loved it! The only down is the space in this tiny place. It was a bit crowded with clients set up back to back. Not much room to move in the back. We couldn't really freshen up before heading to lunch. But still enjoyed the experience.

I did the Christmas Special and it included everything in their diamond package and some extras. I can never do another head spa again. This was the best head spa experience i have had. Very clean, calm and smells relaxing. This package makes you feel so relaxed and melts away so much stress. The shoulder and upper body massage was superb. Now i need to bring my mom and mother in law for a treat. Staff are welcoming and polite. They give you a robe. Even have sizes for us plus size gals. They use Dyson hair dryers and was super impressed how quiet and efficient they are.

Update: I was invited back to give them another shot and I have to say they really exceeded my expectations! I noticed that there were some changes made. They are now using Eminince products for the facial which I love and it's such a reputable skincare line. Even the bed felt more comfy. The owner Annie is so sweet and truly wants the best for her guests and it shows. Ruby was my technician and wow she is incredible! She has a really great touch. I think I dozed off a couple of times. I'm so glad I went back because I really did have a completely different experience I'm so so grateful! Thank you !! Wow, just wow! If you love the idea of going to a spa but feel a little intimidated about going alone, look no further. This place is an absolute gem. I'm beyond impressed and so grateful I found it. There are plenty of headspas out there, but when it comes to customer service and genuine kindness, this one takes the crown. I also love supporting small businesses, and this one truly deserves it. I treated myself to the Diamond Package and added a foot massage, and let me tell you it was everything. My technician, Jenny, was AMAZING. I thought I was just going in for a headspa, but they massaged my neck, arms, hands, face, feet, and legs. Basically every knot I didn't even know I had... gone! Jenny is an absolute miracle worker. And yes, they also do facial, wash your hair, massage your scalp, and work on pressure points with acupressure techniques. It was exactly what I needed after some really tough months. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Annie, the owner. I felt an instant connection with her. She's so warm and kind. I truly believe her business will thrive because her heart is so genuine. A heavenly experience! I have scalp psoriasis and have been wanting to get a scalp treatment done, so I took advantage of the grand opening specials and booked the Diamond package at Blue Moon Head Spa. The reception area is beautiful and airy. You get handed a (2 pc) dress and robe, and are guided into the changing room where you can place your shoes, clothes, and personal belongings in a basket. I recommend to take off all your jewelry in the changing room, so you don't have to be fumbling in the dark later. You take the basket with you to the massage bed and it is placed underneath. My masseuse was Anna and she was wonderful! The pressure she used on my face, arms, shoulders and scalp were perfect. Anna would check in periodically to make sure the pressure was ok and the hot stones, steam eye mask and hot towels weren't too hot. As for the hair and scalp treatments, I was a bit self conscious about my psoriasis but Anna made me feel comfortable and she was meticulous. I have thick, extra-long hair but Anna quickly dried my hair with a Dyson blow drier to finish off the experience while enjoying light refreshments. I highly recommend the head spa! ‍ read more

At the end of the treatment they blow dry your hair and I was a little skeptical as a black girl with curly hair but the range of products made me feel seen and welcomed. I went here on a whim as a walk-in after deciding I needed to escape my children for bit... and I would give a HUNDRED stars if I could. I went to heaven and back. I was really impressed by the attention to details such as the pillow under my knees, the lip treatment, the calming ambience and sound, the cleanliness, and the heavenly smells. Found this place via TikTok. I visited this spa as a birthday treat, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience! My technician, Allisa, was absolutely wonderful -- she was friendly, attentive, and gentle throughout the entire session. I had a scalp massage as well as a facial treatment, and I left feeling incredibly refreshed and rejuvenated. The ambiance of the spa was calming and peaceful, and the place was spotless. I noticed a lot of a younger crowd here (early 20s) - good for them prioritizing their wellness - I guess price point works for them too. And sadly maybe a lot of then, they do not know what is good versus atrocious. But, this is a place where one could leave with some serious skin and/or health issue, it is that bad. i was with MDs here. never again. i had 4 services here and each one was SO terrible (too chatty, bad services. it was painful all around). i found the slippers, towels, robes, showers - even the lockers/seating/walls/toilets/sinks/flooring - NOTHING was clean, just smelly/nasty - much less the amenities and pooled water/all seating. do not waste your money like i did. just YUCK. also why did they have like: zero q-tips, any product, disposable combs - like very basic items any spa always has. like even equinox has this stuff. Also their AC is always broken (we rescheduled twice due to their broken AC - they called us. guess what, we showed up - STILL NO AC it was stifling) so they bring in these loud industrial huge fans. nothing seems/smells clean (say 'green products'...). sadly, so many of the employees sound SO sick with heavy wet coughs/colds. they seem to hate their lives. and there is zero food. lucky to get water if it is not empty. too bad because it could be a nice place if they cleaned, cared, had good services. basic upkeep, and did not let in a gazzilion guests at a time. So much better to pay more at another spa and not contract some serious health issue here. i still tipped well because the employees seem so miserable and overworked/clueless, yet polite. but i want to warn others - do not repeat my mistake by going here (even if someone sends you for free, get a refund, or try a different location).

Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. She acknowledged the issue, refunded me, and explained that over the weekend, they do keep the temperature lower to accommodate the crowd. Still, I was aiming for a hotter steam, and I believe a proper steam room should have a strong flow of steam not just a warm room with sprinklers. That said, I left within 20 minutes but I give this spa five stars because of the cleanliness, the professional staff, and especially Asia, who handled everything with care and understanding.

I've had her three times now and my goodness, she is a wizard. I recently visited Blue Moon Head Spa and had a Platinum spa session with Jenny -- she was absolutely phenomenal. Her touch was incredibly gentle, and she stayed communicative throughout the experience, making sure my needs were met. Truly a gem of a masseuse and one of the highlights of my visit. However, in terms of atmosphere and overall experience, I did leave feeling a little underwhelmed. Given how highly raved about this place is on social media, my expectations were definitely higher. One of the bigger issues was the water temperature fluctuating from hot to cold, which was quite jarring and took away from the relaxation I was hoping for. Another major concern was being placed in a shared room with a complete stranger, who continued to talk about their own needs throughout the session. It was distracting and made it hard to fully relax. Additionally, the space isn't fully enclosed -- just separated by curtains -- so outside noise, including the sound of blow dryers and staff, filtered in and disrupted the peaceful environment. While the massage itself was wonderful and Jenny did an amazing job, the relaxation aspect -- which is such a big part of why we take the time (and spend the money) to visit places like this -- just wasn't fully there for me. The spa location may be in a strip mall in Orange, but when you get inside, it feels like a high end spa/salon. The decorum and demeanor of those providing the services (and at the front desk) is top-notch. It feels like the management is very hands-on and assures all the services are great. I did my research before selecting a head spa. I booked the Diamond treatment at Blue Moon for my daughter and I. We both loved it so much. It is hard to pick our favorite part. Each was better than the last. Treat yourself and ask for Helen. She was fabulous. Very kind, attentive and caring. My daughter loved Anna too which seems like a really good sign about consistency. We can't wait to go back. One comment: the wedge for under your knees should be three times as big/tall. I asked for two but keeping them on top of each other was hard. After receiving your robe you are taken to the next area to change. The entire area was super relaxing with other customers getting their treatment. The hot stone massage kind of caught me by surprised when the heat kept increasing, but Wendy would reassure me and would lightly tap it on my skin so I would get used to it. Wendy has such a calming presence, and her hands truly work magic. The whole treatment--from the soothing scalp massage to the gentle cleansing and aromatherapy--felt luxurious and deeply therapeutic. My friend and I recently visited Blue Moon for a head spa treatment, and I had an amazing experience! My technician, Katie was absolutely fantastic--she really knew what she was doing and applied the perfect amount of pressure throughout the session. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The atmosphere was clean, calm, and soothing, and the entire process was incredibly professional. I booked the Platinum Package at Blue Moon Head Spa and added the scalp exfoliation, and it was absolutely worth it. My masseuse, Ruby, was wonderful--she greeted me with a big smile and was so polite and respectful throughout the entire visit. She checked in often, asking how I felt and if I needed anything, which made the whole experience even more comfortable. I had such a great experience at Blue Moon! I purchased the Diamond package and was handled like one. Allisa was amazing -- she really took her time with my hair and made me feel completely at ease. As a Black woman with curly hair, I wasn't sure what to expect walking in, but Allisa handled everything with so much care and confidence as best she could. I was so relaxed, I actually fell asleep mid-appointment -- I don't even remember half of it, but that's how you know it was good! She even showed me photos of the process afterward, and I couldn't tell you that happened (lol). Truly a 10/10 experience -- I'd absolutely do it again. read more

Oh my gawd, ask for Amy as a tech, she was amazing! This was the best spa service I've ever had. The exterior is unassuming but after you get settled on the head spa bed and they start the treatment you are whisked away into wonderland. The service was incredible, I got the Gold package and added the facial, massage, hair loss treatment, exfoliation and after the hair drying a hair do. It was one of the best experiences. My visit to the head spa was an absolute treat! I came to blue moon right after work and was really looking forward to the experience. The scalp massage was incredibly relaxing, helping to relieve all my tension while improving circulation for all kinds of benefits. Miss Ruby is a magician! I had a wonderful morning with her and had the platinum package. I upgraded from the gold, totally worth it!! I will definitely come back to book another appointment with her soon. The space is cozy and quiet, they really do an excellent job creating a calm and relaxing environmen. I recommend using Zelle or venmo so you don't have to pay card fees or if you pay cash you get a discount as well. A great place for a mother daughter date or even a girls day with your besties. Not too far from the Orange circle for a nice lunch. Try them out! read more
