I started with "medium pressure," quickly realized I had overestimated myself, told her it was a bit much, and she adjusted right away. I appreciated how attentive she was. The whole place is clean, organized, and cozy. Our room was cute, and they put real effort into the floral ceiling décor. The soft purple ambient lighting was such a nice touch--especially since it's my favorite color. The only part that felt a little off was at the very end. After the therapists finished and stepped out for us to change, we stayed on the table for a few minutes just to enjoy that post-massage float--you know, when your body turns into warm pudding and you'd want to happily nap right there. Upon walking in we were greeted warmly and the gentleman at the front did a wonderful job assisting us with our Groupon redemption and took the time to explain the differences between the massages....most places I've been to have been as thorough and typically try to upsell...this place did not and they didn't press us for a tip...which is why we made sure to tip them well. Tips are supposed to be optional. During the massage, my earring was also pulled out of my ear, which was painful and careless. Got a same day appointment while in town for a half marathon. I was 5 minutes late as I don't know the area and they were accommodating. When you book an appointment they text you so it was nice to have a way to let them know I was running late. They asked if I had a preference on the gender of the masseuse which was nice. $80 for a 1 hour deep tissue massage is a steal and far cheaper than what I would have gotten at home in Boston, definitely recommend. Poor service, unprofessional, inexperienced, and tardy. I had an appointment at 2:30pm and got there at 2:25pm. The host in front led me to the room and told me they'll be with me in 15 minutes. I stayed in the room until 2:55pm then walked out to the lobby asking them how much longer because I'm pressed for time, they said, "We can help you now." The lady I got was highly inexperienced or just simply just too tired (probably because she didn't rest from her previous client since they were running behind) to do her job. All she did was kept rubbing oil on my back every few minutes and I kept asking myself when she was going to actually start massaging. His nails kept cutting me, he kept pulling instead of massaging & when he did my scalp massage it felt like he was scratch my head instead of massaging it. Marley is the best. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage and she did it so well. She is very strong, thorough and almost all my pain has been alleviated. I'm bedridden most of the day due to. Health condition and Marley's massage gave me such relief. I think she can do Swedish and go softer but her strong deep tissue was amazing. Also the spa is clean and nicely appointed. Tried this place as a new place to Groupon, the people were very nice. It was very clean very relaxing. If you do have to wait they put you in massage chairs of massage your entire body. They were great went for the 90 minute massage got a lady called Tall Girl I forgot her real name. She was amazing. She left periodically to get a few different things. They came with the massage but never for a long time kept up with the whole massage for the whole 90 minutes. Well worth it. I called a day prior to inquire if they would honor a couples Groupon deal and they said they would. I was able to get a next day appointment, which was very nice. They are located in a plaza with other shops, so parking was easy. On the appointment day, it wasn't noted about the Groupon deal, so my masseuse had to call their manager who confirmed this. We did end up getting the deal, just took some time, and I wish they would have made note of this. The beds were clean and the ambiance was nice. Overall the couple's massage for my friend and I was good, but not something I would rave about. They didn't ask if we had any spots to focus on, so we got a full body massage. I should have spoken up as I wanted my neck and shoulders to be focused on... so that was my fault. My masseuse checked in to make sure the pressure was adequate and when I told her that I wanted more pressure, she seemed surprised and then proceeded by using her forearms instead of her hands. It just felt strange and I couldn't relax. I would go back if there was a deal again, but I would be hesitant otherwise. read more
