AMMAZZZING. I go to head spas all the time and this was by far my favorite so far. I got the 90 minute treatment that included a mini facial. I wasn't expecting my face to glow after a small facial but my sun spots had diminished a lot. This place didn't have the scalp cameras or apply the scalp serums that Korean head spas do but their scalp, neck and upper back massage was amazing. I left feeling so relaxed. I highly recommend. I rather have an extended massage and great mini facial over hair tonics anyways

A special thank you to Isabella, the owner, who was incredibly accommodating and made my visit exceptional. I enjoyed the steam room, massage, stem cell facial, and head spa, and every service exceeded my expectations. The lounge is beautiful, relaxing, and truly feels luxurious. The staff was friendly, happy, and professional, and their positive energy made the experience even better. I also love that they offer a monthly membership which is such a great value! I'll definitely be signing up, bringing my husband for a spa day, and planning my next girls' trip here. If you're looking for a luxurious spa with outstanding service, I highly recommend 128 Luxury Health Spa. I can't wait to come back!

This review is based on my two visits…read more I initially called to redeem a gift certificate my husband purchased for me through their website. The younger receptionist first told me that I couldn't use it toward their BOGO special. I questioned this since the gift certificate was purchased directly from their website. When I asked if they could credit my husband instead, she eventually agreed that I could use it, but only if I paid the full price for the Glow Facial rather than receiving the advertised $30 discount. The Glow Facial was recommended by the receptionist when I specifically asked which treatment would help clear out my pores. Unfortunately, I later felt that this wasn't the most suitable treatment for what I was looking for. The older receptionist was initially pleasant, but her attitude seemed to change after I shared my honest feedback about the Glow Facial. I explained that the treatment felt more focused on massage than on the actual facial. She became defensive and noticeably less friendly, particularly when I mentioned that I would consider joining Alle when I returned to redeem my BOGO facial. The interaction felt uncomfortable, almost as though I was being tag-teamed, and it eventually led to me signing up for Alle. To be fair, the esthetician was very nice. However, I was disappointed with the treatment itself. The actual facial portion lasted only about 30 minutes, with the rest of the appointment focused on massage. When I spoke with the receptionist over the phone, I had specifically emphasized that I wanted a facial, but she never mentioned how much of the appointment would be dedicated to massage. I also acknowledge that I should have read the website more carefully, as it does state that massage is included. Another disappointment was that the website lists an eye treatment as part of the service, but I did not receive one during either of my visits. I also wasn't comfortable with the treatment room door being left open, as people walking through the hallway could potentially see inside. After the treatment, guests are escorted to a back room and offered water and snacks, although the snacks felt rather cheap and underwhelming compared with the overall experience I expected. Overall, while the esthetician was lovely, the experience fell short of my expectations in terms of customer service, transparency, and the treatment itself. I left feeling disappointed, especially given the confusion surrounding the gift certificate and the lack of certain advertised services. I don't think I'll be returning and will likely explore other spas that better meet my expectations.

I got the Premium Package at $105 each, and it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish for 75 minutes. Prices are reasonable compared to the other places I was looking at in LA. You get your hair washed and treated (we both have balayages, so our hair is FRIED), a facial, and a head and neck massage! We're both dentists, so we were wishing the massage was a bit deeper, but that's all we really have to say. It was super relaxing since I was running on 3 hours of sleep. It's nice, quiet, and dark inside, and I felt my stress melt away. Afterwards, my friend and I were amazed at how soft and fluffy our hair was and she expressed that we gotta come back for the VIP experience next! Might just be that I got a newbie or something but she was incredibly bad at her job. She'd never dry my ears properly leaving water and suds sitting in there for the entire time even after the service was finished. While shampooing she'd massage my neck and shoulders while her hands were full of hair product and shampoo suds, WHY?!! Hair products are NOT meant to be used on skin and she kept massaging it in and not washing it off leaving the hair product and suds just SITTING on my neck and shoulders for the majority of the service. Additionally she got water into my eyes MULTIPLE times and didn't even notice, would put a SOPPING wet towel over my eyes then run water right over it making me feel like it was a water boarding punishment, failed to dry me off properly at the end making me sit up resulting in water dripping down my back and getting my clothes wet. Then she gave me cotton swabs for me to clean my ears and when I went to try to throw it away after using it, she roughly pulled it out of my fingers so fast that the dirty cotton swabs touched my fingers leaving my ear wax on my own finger. Cherry on top she then shooed me off the chair after 5 mins of blow drying before my hair was fully dry, didn't even brush my hair until she saw me finger combing it myself. The only reason I gave more than one star is that Maybe the other head spa staff is better but I will never come back because of how bad mine was. Poor attention to detail is an understatement.

I've also noticed that they've continued to make upgrades over time, which I really appreciate. The coed section is one of my favorite areas! There are several hot sauna rooms and an ice room, each offering a different experience. I love going between the different rooms, working up a good sweat, cooling off, and just taking the time to unwind and feel grounded. They've also made some nice improvements recently. The ice room now has benches, and the salt room has new benches that can accommodate more people. There's also a kids' game room, a photo booth, and a dining area where you can purchase meals, healthy snacks, and drinks. One of my favorite features is the large lounging area where you can stretch out, relax, or even take a nap. The heated floors make it extra cozy and comfortable! The women's section is another favorite of mine! There are two hot tubs, one hot and one warm, along with a wet sauna, dry sauna, and cold plunge tub. There are plenty of showers, including standing showers and ones with little stools where you can sit. The staff is constantly making their rounds, keeping everything clean, restocking fresh towels, and making sure the space stays comfortable for everyone. I usually treat myself to the body scrub and massage. The massages can be a little hit or miss depending on who you get, but the body scrub never disappoints! It's honestly one of my favorite parts of coming here. Seeing how much dead skin comes off is so satisfying, and afterward, your skin feels as smooth as glass! It's definitely worth experiencing at least once. I usually spend at least a couple of hours here because there's so much to enjoy, and I never feel the need to rush. Whether you're looking for a relaxing self-care day, a good sweat, or a full body scrub, this is a great place to unwind and recharge. Overall, a great experience! There were some hiccups along the way which ended up being…read moreparticularly stressful for me, but I think we were all navigating a tricky/unique situation. Super grateful to the technicians for helping support us. I was bringing in my friend to get a headspa & little did she know it, but should would get proposed to later that day. We had a schedule: 3:30-4:30PM 60 min headspa, 4:30-5 buffer time if things run late, drive home, 5:15-5:45 get ready, 5:45 leave, arrive for proposal at 6:15PM to make sunset at 6:30PM. My friend's now-fiance called Blue Moon the week prior to set-up an appointment and let the technicians know. He was even able to pay ahead of time for us through Zelle. He said the ladies were super nice and mentioned they'd give the best technician to my friend since it was her special day. A day or two leading up to the proposal, I called to ask if during the blow-dry portion of our headspa, they could style my friend's hair a certain way. She wanted them to use a round brush to flip out her ends. They let me know if they had time, they would most likely be able to accommodate. But to let the front desk know when we arrived. BlueMoon sent reminder texts leading up to the appointment and told us to arrive 5-10 min early for a hair consultation and to change into the robes. My friend and I arrived to our appointment a little before 3:20PM. There was a little waiting area. They had us fill out a quick form and I asked again if we could style my friend's hair a certain way. She said she would let the technician know and if there was time, they'd be able to. She also told us to ask the technician. This is where things went a bit south. We ended up waiting in the waiting room a while. There was a heatwave this particular weekend so it was a bit warm in the waiting room. A few people were there before us and came in after us, but they all got called in before us. I feel like this happened because they tried to put our headspa rooms next to one another, which is so nice, but at the end of the day doesn't matter who you end up next to since the rooms are individual. We ended up starting our hair consultations in the waiting room a little after 3:30. The consultation was a cool experience as they used a camera to check our roots, follicles, oil development, and split ends. Then we waited some more. We finally got called into the headspa rooms around 3:55PM. I ended up having to wait in the hallway a bit as it appeared my room wasn't properly set-up, but no big deal. Eventually, I was let in. They had us change into a very cute and comfortable wrap. By the time we started the headspa, it was 4pm, 40 minutes after we had arrived. The headspa was AMAZING. I had Mimi and she did everything wonderfully. She greeted me and gave me verbal cues. She led me throughout and the pressure of her massage was perfect. SHE WAS FABULOUS! My friend had Wendy. Wendy was also great but didn't give her as many directions as Mimi did. When we finished the headspa portion, we were done around 4:50PM. I went to the hair area first and was given a cute little snack (biscoff cookies, a water bottle, and grapes) in a fun Halloween bowl. Mimi got started on my hair and was done in about 10-15 minutes. MY HAIR LOOKED SO GOOD. Now my friend finished a little bit after me and this is the part that gets difficult. We didn't end up getting out of the headspa until around 5:45PM (2 hours after our appointment started). This is so tough as I know Wendy took her time to make my friend's hair look as good as possible. AND MAN OH MAN DID HER HAIR LOOK GOOD. I think that was on us to not let them know ahead of time that we needed to leave by 5PM/5:15PM the latest to catch sunset, but I didn't know how long things would take. Also, my friend has long hair so I'm sure that played a role. The lady at the front was so nice as she tried to help me let Wendy know that we needed to leave ASAP. But it was such a tough situation. I wanted to get out of there, but I didn't want to rush Wendy and be rude, but we couldn't miss sunset. Wendy didn't necessarily move fast, but again, she might've been taking her time on purpose to ensure a great final product. Either way, she did a great job on my friend's hair. However, I was incredibly stressed out with the time. The lady at the front checked in on Wendy a few times and kept saying she was close to being finished, but it still took another 20-30 minutes from that point. Luckily, we made it to the proposal in the nick of time and we were able to catch some sunlight. It was beautiful! Generally, the services we got at BlueMoon were great. I think it was difficult because we started the actual headspa 30 minutes late and the timing was thrown off. However, I really appreciate the ladies for helping this day be super special for my friend! OUR HAIR LOOKED AMAZING. SIDENOTE: I absolutely loved all the seasonal decor! This would be so fun to do at Christmas.

If you aren't familiar with a Korean spa, prepare to be naked in the wet areas, and they give you a spa outfit for the common areas. K Spa is really friendly for first timers cause they have a sheet with etiquette and rules for those not familiar with a Korean Spa experience. We made our spa reservation about 2 weeks in advanced. We both got the 60 Minute Oil Massage ($125) which comes with admission, Korean scrub, and an oil massage. Come at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time if you're doing the scrub, as you need to soak for optimal dead skin cell removal. So we got lockers and out spa outfits. There is a shoe locker by the entrance and then larger lockers further inside. My friend and I started off taking a shower to clean off before going into the jacuzzis. The wet area has the same amenities as many other Korea spas. There are showers, both standing ones and sitting ones where you can scrub each other's backs or shave your own legs. There are cold, warm and hot jacuzzi. They have sauna. The size of the wet area and the individual jacuzzis are on the small side compared to other Korean spas I've been to. Anyways, we went to the warm jacuzzi and soaked for half an hour, with some brief water breaks in between. Towards the time of our appointment, we went towards the treatment area. The ladies look at the numbers on our locker keys and identify us for the treatment. My lady did not speak much English but that didn't matter cause we were able to communicate well nonverbally. The pressure was perfect and she was so thorough. I felt so clean after all that dead skin cells was removed. The oil massage was such a nice way to moisturize after getting scrubbed. The common areas are co-ed. The main space was really warm. It was too hot outside to deal with that warm feeling. There are also small communal rooms for ice, red clay, salt, and forest. We peaked in the common areas but we were getting hungry after our treatment so we decided to go to the restaurant connected to the spa. Didn't love the restaurant but it was nice having the option to eat something nearby and convenient. We paid at the entrance so when we left, we just had to return the keys and any tip envelops. The staff also have venmos and some even have zelle so that makes it easier if you're short on cash. Overall I thought it was great value for spending a few hours at the spa with my friend. Until next time.

Both times, Mimi took care of me and she's so good! All the workers are so friendly and welcoming. The first time I visited, they used a scalp treatment that was very invigorating. I think it was a ginger treatment. Did not get that the 2nd time so when I come back, will definitely request for that treatment again. The bar area with complimentary drinks is such a great touch and makes this place stand out. The facility is clean, peaceful, and spacious. I've been to other head spa businesses with the same price ranges and VN Beauty Spa is definitely one of my favorite. One area of improvement I would suggest is that I got a bit cold in the treatment room so having a thicker or weighted blanket would've added so much more to my experience.
