They have various spa options from facials to massages. About $300-$400 for selected services. Next to it was the access to the workout room. Which had various machines and weight equipment.

Having booked the service, we were allowed to utilize the amenities located in the spa. In order to get to the spa (if you're not staying in the hotel), you had to drive into the front entrance of the hotel. This is located on the side opposite of PCH. The only real option to park is through valet service which the spa takes care of as part of the cost of the service. Our massages were booked for 2pm but we arrived around 11:30am to have lunch and enjoy the amenities. The food was pretty good and the servings were plentiful. We got a chicken Cesar wrap and the charcuterie board. You're able to eat and have the food brought over just like you were ordering room service, it was definitely room service cost and they charged for delivery to the garden. After we finished eating, we lounged in the garden to catch some sun. This is the part where I say that it almost fit the bill... the weather loved tents providing shade had mold on the canvas. Maybe it was just weather warn because it does stay outside all year round? Not sure but I'm thinking that it definitely looked like mold to me. After the sun, we enjoyed the indoor amenities of steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. For me, there a few other patrons enjoying the amenities but my boyfriend said that he pretty much had the men's locker room all to himself. My favorite part about the amenities was the shower. The shower had a rainfall shower, a handheld shower and then several steam shower heads on three of the walls. The products in the shower smelled great and I would definitely use them again. For our massages, we have the couples suite. The room was absolutely gorgeous complete with 2 massage tables, 2 sinks, a gorgeous tub, 2 separate showers this beautiful stone piece on the far wall. Massages were great and relaxing. After the massages, our massage therapists led us out to the garden again to pretty much recover from the service and it was definitely needed. Upon checking it out from our service, we perused the gift shop. There were cute clothing pieces there as well as the products that were utilized as part of some of the services. When paying, they let us know that the gratuity was already covered in the cost so that was nice. Given the cost for each service, I thought it was a generous but also fair tip. Because we finished late afternoon, we decided to walk down to the pier and venture around there. We were able to keep the car there and the hotel bellman allowed us to store our gym bags in the hotel as well, all at no extra cost. If I was looking to splurge again, I would probably come back. What would sweeten the deal is if we were able to use the hotel pool too but they said that it is only allowed during the weekdays when the pool isn't too busy.

But I trusted her recommendation to see Saripah, and I'm so glad I did. From my first session, Saripah has been wonderful -- sweet, approachable, and incredibly skilled. Both she and Susie have made such a positive impact on my overall well-being. On top of that, the Hand & Stone membership is a great deal. They offer various packages and promotions and their rewards program lets you earn points to redeem for add-ins or services. It has NOT been. Scheduling isn't easy. I have been met with miscommunication a handful of times, non apologetic and rude attitudes from staff and lost appointments due to masseuse call outs. I want to just say- you need to hire nice people. People who want to be in a customer service position. My motto is pay people a good wage. Aka take care of your employees and they will take care of the customer- maybe that isn't what's happening. I'm not sure but either way it isn't always or often a friendly experience trying to make an appointment or deciding when I'll reschedule because of a cancelled appointment. I just had a call around 4:20ish today with a receptionist whom I was asking for future-state when a masseuse councils coming in and you have to cancel my appointment and you call me to do so and then I asked to reschedule and we choose a time together to be sent a confirmation text message or email that way we're both on the same page because that hasn't been the case multiple times now and she was just like a robot repeating to me that it's an automated thing so I should've just asked her if she knows how to call or send a text but I digress. I told her my appointment was at 5 and she told me it was at 4 and that someone already had an appointment for 5 booked so they couldn't have scheduled that with me. I said look that's what we landed on was 5 pm. Yall canceled my appointment same day, yesterday then I rescheduled and I asked what times were available today I was told a couple times, one being 5. That's what I took. You never sent me a confirmation text or email then all of a sudden I get a text around 2 pm saying see you by 4. No thanks for scheduling. (I was told it's automated) if it's automated why didn't I get a confirmation text when my appointment was rescheduled by your team. Please get it together so I don't need to drive to another location as this one is the closest to my house. I'll be honest trust is low with this location after reading about burns on faces and theft during appointments and the owner never following up.

I used to frequent this hotel a lot for their amazing restaurant- Watertable (that's a whole other review) Calling to book the appointment was very easy. I had to put a credit card down (like most spas) my treatment was at 1:15 and the woman on the phone told me I could get there as early as 9 AM to use all the amenities (pool, sauna and etc) When I arrived, Vincent, was working valet and helped me out. He showed me exactly how to get to the spa. (You get free valet parking with your spa service) I will say, the spa is pretty far from the main hotel lobby entrance. It does have nice views and the place is spotless. It is easy to find though. They have tons of signs pointing you into the direction of the spa. Once you get to the spa it's tucked away in gorgeous greenery with a little bridge that takes you over a little koi fish pond When I got to the spa, the girl at the desk was amazing (I wish I got the names of everyone) she checked me in, she asked if I had any allergies, asked if I had any health issues they needed to be aware of and etc. She was on point. She then asked if it was my first time there (it was my first time) so then she immediately paged another staff member to show me around. She gave me the whole walk through, showed me how to use the lockers and everything. She was great as well I did use the sauna before and after my 50 minute massage which included hot stones They had a lovely water station with your typical spa water. They also had a big bucket of ice (which I love having ice. The colder my drink, the better) They also had a tea station. They had honey, cinnamon sticks and other things at the tea station available. Yet you have to go to the desk to ask for the tea bags When I got to the waiting room (relaxation room where you wait to be called for your treatment) they had a lovely set up. Really nice comfortable couches, they had chairs right by the fireplace, they had fruit, they had some baked goods and then I saw the menu for food you can order and they had drinks you could order (food and drinks were for a price. But the little baked goods were free) they had a banana bread and these delicious bars with jam. They also had a variety of nuts, trail mix and etc with little cups you could put them in I had the pleasure of getting Brittney. She was absolutely great. She took me to the treatment room and gave me a minute to get undressed and situated on the table. She asked if the table was warm enough for me. She was great at asking if I wanted light or medium. I told her just to wing it. I did have a LOT of knots in my back on the right side. So she went for it lol. The pressure was at times a little too hard for my taste. But if it makes me feel better in the long run, I don't mind. Plus, I could have told her to lighten up at any time. I really did not want this to end. I felt great afterwards. They had very clean showers They had everything from mouth wash, spray deodorant, hair dryers to use and everything else you'd find at your nice spas. They have a cute little shop where you check in / check out. They had a good amount of different beauty products, jewelry, clothing and other things you'd find at a place like this. The girl who checked me out was great (again, I wish I got the names of everyone) I would 100 percent come back. I'd love to have a girls day here with friends or try one of their facials next time I would have loved to take more photos of the spa, but please remember cell phone use is not for spas. Especially since smart phones have cameras on them and guests are walking around in bathing suits / just towels and changing. So be respectful of that

Sasha has a spirit of excellence. She does not miss a single thing. She got all of my areas of concern: - Ear massage (she does this the best and the longest), it helps with my recent sudden neural hearing loss - Scalp - Neck - Shoulders - Upper spine (sometimes it cracks too, absolutely wonderful) - Buttocks - Thighs - Calves (she does my calves in a few different ways during her treatment), so good!!! Cos Calves are the body's 2nd heart, it pushes blood back into the heart! - Ending with face up, shoulder, arm, thighs and feet massages too Sasha has great concern for the client. I was too warm and asked to remove the blue blanket. She checked on me to make sure I wasn't cold. This place is consistently EXCELLENT, WONDERFUL, AND CLEAN! We've been coming here over 15+ years and satisfied every time. Love the welcoming vibe as we walked through the doors. Relaxing music streams throughout Cloudmover. I advised Keiko what I needed (I had said to her that I really didn't have any pain or issues), pretty much the whole body, no focus on any part of my body, nothing in particular. She asked if I wanted a scalp massage. Yes, please! And yes, It was amazing! So as Keiko was working on each area, I realized I was way more tensed than I thought. I had knots everywhere in my neck, shoulders, back. Holy moly! She was really good at working those knots. Hurt so good. And I seriously feel my stimulated lymphatic system draining. First of all, the people who work here are so nice! Peter was always smiling and giving the dogs treats (with permission every time). I swear they started looking for him- and they're pretty anxious around people. There are no dogs allowed in the pool area which I get but it makes it a little tough to juggle the kids wanting to swim for hours and not leaving the dogs unattended in the room. The beds were comfy and they have a built in sound machine system and it was the first time I have ever see that! I loved it! I struggle to sleep in hotels but wasn't bothered by any noise. The hotel is right across from the beach and next to an outdoor shopping mall. We walked to and from multiple times on our trip and it was nice to be close by! They also have beach chairs, towels and sand toys to borrow! They have adult bikes but nothing for the kids so we didn't utilize those. The restaurant is good with dog friendly seating and gluten free options. We had dinner there only. CONS the dog park is so cute and convenient but it wasn't sprayed off at all while we were there and since it was plastic grass, there was poo smeared all over the place. It was hard to find a spot to stand and you hope your dog doesn't walk through it. It also smells like warm pee. We were still grateful for it but I think a small patch of real grass would have been less gross! The fee for dogs is $150 a night and that adds up quickly! The bathrooms are not practical for families. They don't lock, the toilet room has fogged clear glass with big gaps so no one could be in the bathroom getting ready or showering if anyone else was in the toilet room. Also, there was a slider on the outside of the shower that allows the entire room to see you in the shower which was odd. I understand the desire for this if it was a couples trip but why not have the sliding door on the inside so the naked person can make the decision rather than anyone on the outside deciding to open it mid-shower? Parking is a whopping $60 a night plus there is only valet which means you either tip every single time you pull your car in or out or you feel like a jerk. The valet guys were great and we wanted to tip everyone but ran out of small cash bills quickly. We stayed two nights and had to pull our car out 4 times which is 8 tips. When you're paying $120 to park that's crazy! The jacuzzi is just warm not hot and the jets when on are cold! That was bummer. Overall I don't think we will return because there are so many awesome hotels in the area to try but we did enjoy our stay and found it worth the money! The Shorebreak Hotel doesn't charge for dogs so we will be going there next time!
