10/10 recommend I never knew I needed this hair treatment until today!! - the owners were super welcoming and reassuring that our scalp care was priority - the ladies (Dao & Quyen) were so kind, attentive, and gentle with my head and hair, you can tell they really care to make this a good experience for you - I got the Stella treatment 75min and it comes with scalp treatment/steaming, jelly face mask, and massages for scalp, face, head, neck, shoulder, arms, and upper back, cold jade rollers, steamed face towel (I'd just prefer for them to give me a heads up beforehand though) - definitely enjoyed the aromatherapy it really opened up my sinuses and felt super relaxed, I definitely nodded off several times - my hair is pretty thick but they were able to get through all my hair follicles because my head was engulfed in the shampooing and conditioning - after the treatment the ladies also blow dried and brushed out my hair as well - my scalp and hair feels so much softer and lighter now!! do yourself a favor and book your appointment

I felt a little sad reading some of the negative reviews for 128 Luxury Spa, so I wanted to share…read moremy experience specifically for their Diamond Glow facial service, which is what my review is based on. I purchased a package of four sessions and have been visiting them for the past few months. Every visit has been a pleasant experience. The manager/owners are always welcoming and helpful, and they consistently make us feel like VIP guests. The front desk staff are also very kind and take the time to explain the different services they offer. Parking: Turn right once you enter the white building. Parking can be a little tight on weekends, but it's still manageable. When you arrive, you'll wait in the lobby where there's a comfortable couch. They provide slippers, a locker key, a clean white robe, and a towel. After that, they bring you to the locker room, which has one of the nicest bathrooms I've seen at a spa (complete with a Japanese heated toilet!). Once you step out of the locker room, your esthetician will be waiting and will kindly ask you to remove any jewelry before starting the treatment. I've had the Diamond Glow facial with Thanh and Tulin, and both have been wonderful. I always leave with glowing skin. The extractions are done gently (make sure to tell them if the exfoliation gets close to your eye or if the pressure is OK) and the treatment also includes a relaxing shoulder, neck, and arm massage. They really take their time and make sure you're comfortable throughout the session. Honestly, it's probably one of the best Diamond Glow facials I've had--and I get facials quite often! After the facial, they bring you to their VIP lounge area, where they serve hot tea, snacks, fruit, and water. There's also a steam room available. The overall ambience is relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Some of my friends have also tried the head spa and massage services, and they all had great experiences as well. I'm not sure where some of the negative reviews are coming from, but perhaps management could ensure that all therapists maintain the same level of training and consistency in service quality. I agree not having the therapist use their phone during a treatment! I'll be coming back soon to try their Vampire Facial and massage, and I'll update my review with the results. Overall, my experience has been a solid 5-star visit, and I highly recommend it--especially if you're coming with a group. I've gone several times with coworkers and we always have a great time!!! Sorry no photos because I'm always so relaxed inside.

It has a grand appearance that makes you feel like you are about to walk into a relaxing Korean spa experience. Parking was surprisingly easy and I somehow ended up with a front row spot which almost felt suspiciously lucky. Walking in though, the first thing that hits you is the amount of signage. I am not exaggerating when I say there is a lot to read. It honestly felt like I walked into the spa's constitution. Every wall has instructions, reminders, and rules. By the time you finish reading one sign there are several more waiting for you. If you forgot your glasses that day, good luck. Admission is thirty five dollars if you pay with a card, which is pretty standard for a Korean spa around here, but if you want the cheaper price you have to pay cash. Not my favorite system but it is what it is. They do take Apple Pay which was convenient. They give you a uniform and towels at the front. I grabbed an XL and normally wear a 2X or even 3X, so it worked fine for me. They also provide one large towel and a couple smaller ones which ended up being enough for the visit. The men's locker room is right there and the process is simple. You get your locker key, put your things away, and then explore the wet area. My first impression was actually positive because overall the place looked fairly clean and maintained. The cold plunge was one of the better parts of the experience. It is about four feet deep with steps that go down which makes it easier to ease into the water instead of shocking your system. It was cold enough to feel refreshing but not painfully cold. The jacuzzi is where things started getting a little disappointing. Calling it a jacuzzi almost feels generous because it is basically the size of a kiddie pool. It is technically around three feet deep but they do not fill it all the way. The only way to really submerge yourself is to sit directly on the floor, which is exactly what I ended up doing. Once you settle in it is okay and moderately hot, but if more people come in you suddenly have to shift around to make space and it gets awkward pretty quickly. The steam rooms and sauna were another confusing part of the experience. One of the steam rooms claims to be two hundred degrees but there is absolutely no way it was anywhere near that temperature. At that level you would be sweating within minutes and that definitely was not happening. It would warm up a little and then cool down again. They have two steam rooms and a sauna which sounds great on paper but the heat level did not match the expectation. Upstairs there is a relaxation area and this is where you can tell the spa put real effort into the design. There are grooming stations with hair dryers, lotion, brushes, and other basics which is nice after using the wet area. There is also a sleeping section with reclining chairs that electronically adjust into comfortable positions, which was honestly one of the highlights of the visit. Unfortunately the visit took a major turn later in the evening and that is why this review dropped to two stars. The spa closes at ten and the last check in is nine, which means people could still be entering around that time expecting to relax. However staff started cleaning the wet area while guests were still using it. I was sitting in the jacuzzi when a worker brought out a large hose and cleaning supplies and began scrubbing the floors around us. The hose stretched across the walkway which immediately created a tripping hazard in an already wet area. Then the chemical smell started. It smelled like soap mixed with bleach and the water being scrubbed from the floor began flowing toward the jacuzzi. On top of that the mist from the chemicals started getting into our eyes. There were a few other guys in the tub who noticed the same thing and I ended up telling the worker in Spanish that the soap was getting into the water. What really shocked me happened shortly after. When I came out of the steam room I saw that the drain covers had been removed and there were open trenches running through the wet area while guests were still walking around barefoot. The grates were just sitting near the showers while cleaning continued. At that point the relaxing atmosphere was completely gone. I kept thinking how easily someone could slip or get injured. Before leaving I spoke with the front desk and explained the safety concerns and they said they would note it. This spa actually has potential. The building is nice and some amenities are enjoyable, but when guests feel like an inconvenience while staff rush to clean around them the relaxing purpose of a spa disappears. I genuinely hope they improve this because with a few changes this place could easily become a solid Korean spa in Orange County.

Small location very private but noisy. Holly was my tech. She was the only one in there for the first 1/2 of my 90 minute service, which meant during the service she was also the receptionist. She was on her phone a lot, I was rather annoyed by her answering calls in what is supposed to be a relaxing service. The service was ok, going from touching her phone to my face wasn't my favorite. Very heavy, rough hands. I have fine hair and it was a lot of pulling. Massage was fine still very heavy handed and the position to sit in at the end was not comfortable, maybe because I'm a taller? I'm not sure. Not sure if they were having plumbing issues, but the water was cold the whole service. It warmed only slightly but not comfortable. What was most concerning was how tangled my hair was at the end. I have never seen my hair in such a knotted mess. Yes she was able to detangle, by pulling it apart and ripping the hair. The tangles were caused by poor products and shampoo technique. A good conditioner and proper rinsing would never leave my hair like that, the 90minite service was also supposed to include blowdry, I was told to pay $10 more. I will not be returning. I wish them luck and hope they can use this as a reference to make the experience better. There are MANY head spas in the area that take better care of the client for the same price.

I came here with a group of girlfriends for my friend's birthday, and none of us had been to a Korean spa before. Honestly, it was confusing from the start. There wasn't much direction on where to go, what order to do things in, how the facilities worked, or what you were supposed to do if you booked extra services. We also came with one guy and a group of girls, so we didn't realize right away that we'd all be separated. Between that, people going off for body scrubs or massages, and everyone trying to figure it out as we went, I don't think we used the spa the way it was meant to be used at all. We ended up kind of bouncing around, asking what to do next, hanging out in the common area for a bit, and then leaving. The actual body scrub/massage add-on was fine, but overall it just felt disorganized and not very beginner-friendly. I've since seen friends go back and actually know what they're doing -- using the pools, sauna rooms, eating afterward, spending real time there -- and I can see how it could be a much better experience if you know the flow. But for a first-timer, especially with a group, I wish there had been a little more guidance.

We booked our appt for March 14th back in early to mid January. The day before, the spa needed to make a time change for our group and we moved it to one hour later than originally planned. I would go out of my way to request her again. I was super relaxed and felt very refreshed at the end. There were some guests that were there before us who were very talkative and social while getting their hair dried in the back at the end of their service. Because the space in the back is fully open to where people are getting their treatment it was a bit distracting and harder to relax until they left the spa. It could help if quiet rules were enforced to make sure all patrons at all stages of their service are getting the most peaceful experience throughout. Overall great first head spa experience. Check-in was smooth, and overall the environment felt calm and well-maintained. My husband had Emily, and he said his experience was amazing, very relaxing, thorough, and definitely worth it. He's usually very picky with massages and spa services, so that says a lot. Unfortunately, my experience was very different. My therapist (Elissa/Alissa) was very sweet and kind, but the service itself felt inconsistent. The session felt all over the place. This also wasn't my first head spa experience, so I do have a general idea of how it's supposed to feel. The shoulder massage was pretty good. During the facial portion though, the touch was extremely light, it felt like the sponges barely made contact with my skin. There also wasn't much structure or flow. Instead of a smooth sequence, it felt random and disconnected. She also frequently moved between my hair and face, which made the treatment feel less cohesive and made me unsure whether hair products (shampoo/mask/etc.) were coming into contact with my face. At one point she used cold tools (maybe gua sha or rollers?), but they barely touched my face, so it didn't feel effective or relaxing. The water temperature was also VERY inconsistent, sometimes too hot (almost burning), other times suddenly cold enough that I started shivering, which made it hard to relax. :( During the head spa portion, I finished about 5 minutes earlier than my husband even though he started a few minutes before me. We did finish around the same time overall, but that was mainly because his hair drying took less time since he has short hair. I didn't say anything during the service because there were other guests in the room, and I didn't want to disturb their experience. I was planning to mention it afterward, but there was another guest waiting at the front desk, so I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up. About 30 minutes after the treatment, my face became red, itchy, and developed small bumps on my forehead. My skin is not usually sensitive/reactive, so this was unexpected. I'm not entirely sure what caused it, but given how often the treatment moved between my hair and face, I do wonder if some hair products may have contributed. :( Based on my husband's experience and other reviews, I do think this place is capable of providing a great service. I may have just had an off experience, but I would recommend requesting Emily to be safe. :)

K Spa is in a corner shopping area with a big parking lot. It was surprisingly busy on Saturday but I was able to find parking. The staff were very friendly. As soon as I entered the locker area I was greeted by one of the staff that asked me if it was my first time. She showed me where all the different areas were. The facilities were pretty clean. It was a busy day but it did not feel overcrowded. Everyone was really respectful and it was not too loud. I like that they provide some common amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hairspray, and qtips. I brought my own shower supplies and they had convenient baskets where I could place my products while I showered. They constantly brought out fresh towels as well. The towels are small so if you want a bigger towel you should bring your own. Inside the women's area they have warm bath, hot bath, cold bath, steam sauna, and dry sauna. They also have a seated and standing shower area. The scrubbing area is in the back past the pools. They have a clock so that you can keep an eye out for your appointment time. But the scrubbing women do come out and call out for your number. I got called in a little before my appointment time. They do recommend you arrive 30mins before your appointment to soak in the tubs. The body scrub was really nice and the lady was very nice. It was a relaxing scrub with a good amount of pressure so I felt that she was getting the dead skin off. They also put product on your face and hair. The hair/head massage felt really nice and the products left my hair feeling soft. They give you an envelope to tip but they also have zelle and venmo if you do not have cash. The common area is smaller than the other spas I have been to but very nice. I did enjoy the salt room. They text you when the order is ready and you have to go back out to the front to pick up your order. They provide slippers for you to put on and then you can bring the food back to the common area. The kiosk has limited options. For more food you can go to the restaurant itself with your spa clothes. The restaurant is very small so gets busy quickly. The food is delicious though.

I asked a little girl how to make the towel for hair and she taught me step by step! (this restaurant that collabs with k spa was delicious)

Best place for self care…read more I've visited this head spa twice so far and both times, got the Fan Fave Treatment. It's the most relaxing, calming, luxurious experience. Both times, Mimi took care of me and she's so good! All the workers are so friendly and welcoming. The first time I visited, they used a scalp treatment that was very invigorating. I think it was a ginger treatment. Did not get that the 2nd time so when I come back, will definitely request for that treatment again. The bar area with complimentary drinks is such a great touch and makes this place stand out. The facility is clean, peaceful, and spacious. I've been to other head spa businesses with the same price ranges and VN Beauty Spa is definitely one of my favorite. One area of improvement I would suggest is that I got a bit cold in the treatment room so having a thicker or weighted blanket would've added so much more to my experience.
