I feel like the facility keeps up their standards, and it is very clean. To be honest, you need at least a minimum of four hours here unless you want to rush. This is a perfect spot for a relaxing solo date or hanging out with friends or just a nice pick me up. When you walk in you pay for the service you like or just the day at the spa. They'll provide you a key for the locker and some clothes for the common area. You'll have to takeoff your shoes when you walk in and wear their slippers in the locker area. When you enter, put your stuff in the locker and take off your clothes. Note that the tub area and the showers are nudity only. There are no swimsuits allowed, however, once you're in the common area like going into the salt or ice rooms, you'll be able to put on the clothes that the front desk gives you. Please note that there is no phones allowed in the tub or locker room area. The showers and locker room areas provide a lot of toiletries for you to use such as hair, dryer lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There's also a lot of towels but be mindful of your use. I appreciated all the different rooms that they had in the common area such as the salt room, the forest room, ice room, and then just the big common area space where you can lay down. I'm probably messing some of the rooms, but I'm planning on coming back this month for some R&R time for my birthday. I'm also very grateful that they also have a small Korean restaurant within the vicinity and you can wear the clothes that they provide into the restaurant. If you don't want to go to the restaurant and aren't that hungry, there are drinks and desserts that you can buy in the common area and enjoy. I'm so happy that this place exists and I don't have to go all the way to ktown to enjoy a spa like this!

We got assortment of items to share between the four of us and it was delicious. Though, the food price is a bit pricier than usual. I will definitely be coming back. The charcoal room actually felt cooler because it felt less stuffy. The cold room was almost room temp and was packed with people trying to cool off. Multiple people were fanning themselves or drenched with sweat. We've asked multiple times for the AC to be lowered, where staff informed us that it was the lowest the AC could go. No other measures were taken to help with the heat, no fans or anything were put out. Our family came to celebrate two birthdays and were hoping to relax. We were not able to relax at all and instead wasted $200 at this not enjoyable establishment. We asked if we could get a partial refund, which the spa stated they could not. They offered us travel size soaps as an apology, which I declined.

She said she didn't know why. She took down my name and phone number and said Michael will call me. So, I waited until 4:00pm on Tuesday, December 30th and I called Jordan. She apologized again and said he was busy and that she would message him again. I then told Jordan that I felt that these practices are unethical and I should be allowed to cancel my membership. She then apologizes again and says he will call me today. Previously when I cancelled my membership, I had to pay a fee to cancel. Now, they are trying to prevent you from canceling all together. I am writing this review as documentation for my credit card company too. Jordan said my credit card will not be charged but I don't believe her. Nothing is in writing. The gym is a nice concept but they make you jump through hoops to cancel your membership. Also, you can't even cancel electronically, you have to come in person.

Do not even try to inquire about this place I have NEVER been so rudely spoken to over the phone by someone dictating what my hygiene habits will be - I must shower BUT bring my own soap before entering his illustrious (and I'm sure 'classy') hot tub rooms in his rent-by-the hour whorehouse. TOTALLY YELLED AT ME! Literally for asking a question and interrupting hearing him scream and dribble his drivel to me....look, the man even said he was tired of repeating these stupid rules to ppl. Visited neptunes lagoon for date night with my boyfriend on 9/24/16 even after reading some of the negative reviews i decided to just be a walk in just in case the options about Aj was true.just to find out for myself and i have to say that my experience here was the total opposite Aj was very polite and helpful we were a walk in on a saturday night and lucked up and was able to get a tub from the time we arrived to the time we receive our tub it was about 15mins if that.it does need a tad bit of up dating and is a little smokey smelling in the waiting area but not inside the rooms but other than that it was a really good experience and would definitely be back. read more

Owner is very verbally abusive, blames clients for everything, talks for 30 min before anything actually happens good luck if someone's ahead of you as he's talking to them first then you. The Jacuzzi just does something to your body, I sprain my ankle not to long ago and my ankle was giving me problems ( stiffness) the jacuzzi helped out alot with my ankle it really loosened up the joints. I am definitely coming back!! The lightening is everything this was me and my boyfriends first time and we cant stop talking about it the fact that you can bring your own liquor and speakers for music makes you feel like your right at home in your back yard. Where do I begin? The staff is informative and very helpful, the facilities are state of the art, the owner takes his job very seriously and will give you the heads up if it's your first time. Definitely romantic, relaxing setting that will get her "in the mood". No one will bother you during your time in the hot tub or sauna, you get a 10 min courtesy knock, but besides that no nosey staff members. The hot tubs are well maintained. The decor has a 70's or 80's vibe, but that's ok. The rooms have A/C to help keep the humidity down and nice, walk-in saunas (saunas are an extra charge). Arrive early and don't overstay your time; they are very strict. The staff is helpful. read more

I've been to a lot of Korean spas across LA and Orange County like Century, Wi, and Crystal, so I know what to expect. A friend recommended this one and I thought it'd be fun to try something new, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The only reason I'm even giving it two stars is because of the owner, Mr. Kim. He greeted me at the front, was very polite, and took time to explain everything even though I already knew how these spas work. His friendliness stood out, but that was the only positive part of my visit. Parking was easy and free, which was nice, and I got a spot right in front. The spa is inside a small indoor plaza that feels more like an outdated mini mall than a wellness spot, and the entrance is confusing. Once inside, everything felt cramped and outdated. The cold plunge and jacuzzi were ridiculously small, maybe two and a half feet deep, and you could barely fit two people without bumping elbows. The jacuzzi wasn't hot enough, the cold plunge wasn't cold at all, and the overall atmosphere didn't feel clean or rejuvenating. The amenities were just way below what you'd expect from a Korean spa. The sauna said 173 degrees but I sat there for over twenty minutes and didn't sweat once. The steam room was the opposite, dangerously hot. The steam comes out directly from a vent near the bottom, and if you're sitting anywhere close to it, it literally burns your legs. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's unsafe. Even sitting higher up, I had to constantly scoot away because of how intense the bursts of steam were. That should absolutely be fixed because it's a serious safety hazard. On top of that, the jacuzzi and cold plunge both had warning signs taped on the railings that said things like "Be careful, this is not strong, do not shake." That alone made me feel uneasy. If the metal railings aren't sturdy enough to lean on, they shouldn't be in use. It's something so simple to fix, and I don't understand how they're operating without addressing it. The common area wasn't comfortable either. There were a few massage chairs that you had to pay extra for and no real seating to relax. The orange uniforms were funny and bright, but it made the place look more like a gym than a spa. There are themed rooms like an oxygen room, but they don't offer much. I was planning to eat at the restaurant since the website said it was open, but when I asked, the staff told me it had been closed for a while. Honestly, that was probably for the best because the space is so small that food smells would've been overwhelming. They do offer a few small items like shaving cream, a disposable razor, and a scrub, which is thoughtful, but it doesn't make up for the lack of quality. Between the outdated facilities, safety hazards, and disappointing amenities, this place just isn't worth it. For the same price, I'd rather go to Joy Spa or Century Spa in Koreatown where you actually get what you pay for. Those places have better amenities, cleaner spaces, and real attention to comfort and safety. Pioneer Spa feels neglected, cramped, and uncomfortable. I left more tense than when I arrived and definitely won't be going back.

The upgrades that I've seen are making the pool area much cleaner and brighter appearing. My scrub was good, and soooo much skin came off! I'm always smooth as a baby's bottom when it's done. I'll be back in about six weeks.

Completely downhill…read more Used to come here a lot, came now, and the rooms are not sauna like at all. It's like 80 degrees like wtf And the salt room on the women side has a single flashing light literally broken. Pools are also not sauna or even jacuzzi quality.

Trinity is located in the Vons plaza off Chapman, they've got plenty of parking nearby. When you walk in, you're welcomed with a very calming presence, and everything is new and clean. I got the Premium Package and added 10 extra minutes for a massage. The therapist who took care of me was extremely careful and super attentive to detail. She made the whole experience very relaxing and left me feeling incredibly refreshed. I definitely think the Premium Package is the right balance of services offered, and would recommend that to anyone checking this place out. I've already recommended this place to a few of my friends and plan to come back again soon, because this place is the best!

Might just be that I got a newbie or something but she was incredibly bad at her job. She'd never dry my ears properly leaving water and suds sitting in there for the entire time even after the service was finished. While shampooing she'd massage my neck and shoulders while her hands were full of hair product and shampoo suds, WHY?!! Hair products are NOT meant to be used on skin and she kept massaging it in and not washing it off leaving the hair product and suds just SITTING on my neck and shoulders for the majority of the service. Additionally she got water into my eyes MULTIPLE times and didn't even notice, would put a SOPPING wet towel over my eyes then run water right over it making me feel like it was a water boarding punishment, failed to dry me off properly at the end making me sit up resulting in water dripping down my back and getting my clothes wet. Then she gave me cotton swabs for me to clean my ears and when I went to try to throw it away after using it, she roughly pulled it out of my fingers so fast that the dirty cotton swabs touched my fingers leaving my ear wax on my own finger. Cherry on top she then shooed me off the chair after 5 mins of blow drying before my hair was fully dry, didn't even brush my hair until she saw me finger combing it myself. The only reason I gave more than one star is that Maybe the other head spa staff is better but I will never come back because of how bad mine was. Poor attention to detail is an understatement.

I'm dropping it down to 2 now, because the condition of the facility has only decreased since then, while the price has doubled. They should either drop the price down to $20, or put some money into renovations which it desperately needs. When WiSpa is $40, this place just can't justify charging $30. One other oddity I experienced - I got a body scrub on this most recent visit and the guy who did the scrub demanded a tip right after the service, before I was ready to leave. I told him I needed to dry off and he insisted I walk into the locker room dripping water all over the floor to get him a tip. I thought maybe his shift was over and he wanted it before he left, but no.... he was still there 40 mins later when I was done and ready to leave. Very odd and annoying interaction.

They mention the lot but not the cost (to be fair, no issue with the cost but I recommend letting clients know it's a fee and you have to go through an app. It takes time to enter card info,etc) -Driveway parking was offered for parking but it is tandem and very limited. Street parking very limited. Give yourself time for parking. -Locker is coed. You lock when changing for privacy so if you are in a hurry, try to get there when available Overall, I would go back. It's quant and better than I have experienced even with big spa's.

I came in after running a marathon and a half marathon in the same week and needed some desperate TLC. I saw the reviews were lovely and stopped by and was seen immediately. I received an hour long deep tissue massage with hot stone and my needs were definitely met. I focused on shoulders, legs, and feet. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. Well worth the price. It's a very simple set up here, nothing fancy, but they know exactly what they are doing. Yes there is a bit of a language barrier but I was able to communicate my problem areas and I was checked on my throughout the service to make sure I was okay. I will be back, thank you for the water bottle following my massage. This was great!
