I went to visit my uncle in Anaheim this was the closest massage place to where he lives. This was my first time here. I received a 2 hour massage- 1st hour with back walk 2nd with hands. I am an athlete and my back and shoulders were so tight and tense. My body was aching crying for relief. I frequently get massages. LISA was able to tap into my trigger points on my shoulders with her feet- I was surprised on how she was able to figure out my trouble problems and clear my meridians. Massage is an ART FORM of HEALING and she was able to PERFORM MAGNIFICENTLY on my body! For what she is able to do, the $120 was worth it plus I tipped her another $45 for her EFFORT to HEAL my tired muscles. She is Strong and the deep tissue was strong enough to penetrate my aching muscles. I was pleasantly surprised the next day when my pain was dissolved. Tonight was the first night that I ever visited the spa. I was hurting really bad on my left leg. My husband was with me and we decided to get a couples massage after the front office lady convinces us too, The service was OK. I don't have any complaints about it what I do have a complaint about is the fact that after my husband and I were leaving the lady at the front, kept looking at us. I was confused because I had already paid for my services beforehand. As we were leaving, another lady came from the back and asked us if we could tip our masseuses which at that time I didn't have cash. So she suggested We send a Zelle payment to each massage therapist for a tip I find that very inconvenient to do. My husband happen to have 20 bucks on him so he decided that he would tip five dollars each. He asked the lady if she had changed to which she replied yes but then asked for my husband to consider giving each massage therapist $10 for the work they did on us stating that that was the normal percentage or normal amount for a 60 minute massage Which I get they did do a good job and I would've considered tipping them, which I was forced to to be honest with you only because they made a big deal about it. I feel that if I wanted to tip them I would've tipped them and as soon as they would've gotten the five dollars they would be like. Oh that's great. Thank you for the tip. We really appreciate it . We are not forced to tip and if that's the case why not put it on your menu that a percentage of gratuity will be added to your bills to thankthe masseuses for such a good job. Not even the nail places that I have been to act like that over tips. Never say please tip us and tip more than what you wanted to. Now I know the owner is probably going to chime in on this conversation which is fine. Just want to let the owner know. Maybe consider changing your policies to include that a tip will be required after services so that with a new customer such as myself, it's not shocked at the fact that a tip is required after services. Because of this, I don't think I will be back. I had planned to return with my husband and I did plan to have tip money at that point but now I'm just off put by the fact that I am required and put on the spot to tip a amount that I don't feel should be given to the masseuse. My fiancè booked a couple's massage and when we showed up they refused to honor our gift certificate. Not a coupon but a gift certificate bought and paid for from there store. They claimed that they no longer honor the gift certificates but they still had a sample one on the wall that was identical. The prices were the same. They claimed that the owner that owned the place before could explain it better so we called her and she said she would call us back. This place is ok. My boyfriend and I came here for foot massages which were only $25 for an hour each. The staff is friendly. Our massages were not done in private room, but in the middle of the place. It was super awkward and hard to relax with people walking by us constantly and turning on and off lights around us. The cleanliness is okay, my boyfriends chair had a stain on it, but they assured us it was clean. If you NEED a massage and are really on a budget this is a good place to come. As for comfortability and a true experience, I would go elsewhere. I'm not sure if we'd come back.
