I was shopping for groceries at Super King and realized my shoulders were quite tense. Work had been stressing me out lately and I had some knots to break down in my neck and shoulders. I saw lots of good reviews here [on yelp]. I also had a rare sunday withour son as he was at his grandparents. If you have kids you know how the stars sometimes have to align (no pun intended) in order to take care of yourself. I called and James said I could come and they would have someone. I showed up a short while later. James turned out to be the person giving me the deep tissue massage. It was the first time I received a massage from a man and I have been getting them for 25 years. I didn't have any expectations as it was short notice on my part but he was great. He has pointy elbows and strong knuckles. He found a lot of knots. Most importantly I felt truly relaxed. I really zoned out. The ambiance was quite peaceful. It is in a small commercial property surrounded by auto repair places and near the 22. Since it was Sunday, it was quiet. The air conditioning was perfect as it was over 100 degrees outside. The AC added white noise and whatevee music they played was masked by the air. I heard James to someone else a couple of times but his voice was so low it didn't detract. Towards the end of the massage he used the hot stones. I was surprised as I figured it would probably make more sense at the beginning then the end. However, he told me my back needed it and I went with it. The massage included some light stretching. I felt rejuvenated and pleasantly surprised. The store was covered in "People Love Us On Yelp!" Stickers. I really shouldn't be surprised how good it was. The only thing that bothered me was the face whole in the bed. My chin was sore as if the cushioning at the bottom was less than at the top where my forehead was. This is still an improvement over some places where there is no facial opening in the bed. I payed $72.50 ($70/hour + $2.50 for Credit Card) and $20 for a tip. I considered it a good deal. read more

A nice lady came out shortly and had me settle my payment then walked me to a room. A gentleman walked in and confirmed my hour long massage. The pressure and everything was perfect. I came here after work hoping for a relaxing massage. After the massage, I felt really itchy and got hives. When I asked the owner what oil she used, she couldn't identify the product. As a licensed esthetician, I believe knowing what products are being used is important for client safety. As I was talking to her, I saw that there was two cats in the shop. I am highly allergic to cats and I believe that is what caused my reaction. I politely thanked her and left without causing a scene, but she became upset because I didn't leave a tip. Today I got a massage and the masseuse was really aware of where I was feeling pain and tried to address it by putting extra attention to those areas. I came here once before and had a good experience but did not on my second time. This time I did a deep tissue massage and felt like I was being knuckled half of the time, during which I said it hurt and the masseuse insisted on continuing regardless and she said it will feel better later. This caused more superficial damage than deep tissue manipulation and I have similar bruising on both arms, thighs, and my back. I cannot recommend this massage. read more

There are many massage places in this area. After I moved to this area one and a half years ago, I have tried several, but found this massage place is the best! They are very friendly and asked about which body part I wanted to focus. I personally like deep massage, and I love high pressured deep massage, Bella really did a great job! I paid for 90 min and she spent 60 min on my shoulder and back which I need the massage on because of my daily computer work. I normally feel cold and they have heating pad in bed which keeps me warm for the entire 90min. This is - honestly - the only time that my nose is not blocked after a long time massage. I really appreciated. Additionally, the place is very clean, organized and quiet, that I can totally relax without being bothered. The most important - after I finish the massage and walked out, my back and should felt very nice, still have the deep massage effect on, and my sweat started to come out - that means the massage improved my circulation! After I arrived home, I immediately felt so sleepy but will need to walk dogs first before lying in bed. When I saw my neighbours and walked dogs together, I told them that I went to an amazing massage place.
