    Body scrub with sunny
    Ashley G.

Had an amazing experience!! Got the body scrub for the first time. If you are a first timer then I recommend going solo. It makes the experience much more comfortable if you are not used to complete nudity. Sunny was wonderful, kind and clear communication even with a language barrier. It didn't feel rushed and she was very thorough! She even washed my hair and gave me a scalp/ neck massage! PRO TIP! Bring cash! At the end of the scrub they give you an envelope with their name for a tip! These ladies work hard! It's well deserved! I would also bring a change of clean clothes! It makes you feel extremely clean at the end!

Really nice! The place was neat and tidy and the woman at the front was very kind and respectful. The body scrub was very effective, left me feeling clean and refreshed. The scrub was very thorough and took a bit more than an hour and all the rooms you could chill in after were clean and warm. 10/10, definitely recommend!

My expectations weren't high, I just knew I could use a good scrubbin'. Yelp led me to an all-female low key Korean spa in the middle of a shopping center with several KBBQs, Mochinut and SomiSomi in Garden Grove. I had the place all to myself on a random weekday morning and thoroughly enjoyed my self-care ME time. This place has a steam room, dry sauna, freezing mini pool, jacuzzi (upper jets not working), salt room, mini theater and very very strong shower pressure. Sumi did an excellent job scrubbing EVERY square inch of my body and I felt so refreshed, recharged and squeaky clean after the 80min scrub/massage treatment. It's clearly not fancy, it's not modern but I felt I got great value and good service for what I paid. I will definitely be back on another random morning hoping I'd have the place all to myself again *Bring cash for tip

I had the worst massage of my life here. I don't know the woman's name, if I did I would have listed it here and reported her to the licensing board. She was an older (60s) stocky Korean woman. The massage consisted of rubbing my skin with oil, like you'd do a scrub. When she did actually massage me she left BRUISES on my lower back and upper arms (see picture). She also talked to and laughed with the other massage therapist the whole time and squirted the bottle of oil directly on me. Who does that?? She either wasn't a licensed massage therapist or hated me on sight. This woman should be fired for her horrid behavior. DON'T GO THERE!

Ohhh how I've missed my Korean smackdowns! This place is super clean! Towels fresh and fluffy! Robe, nice and cozy! I've been to a lot of K spa places pre Cvid. This was a hidden gem. Scrub was amazing! Every mm was scrubbed. Every! Massage released so much tension. Steam and dry sauna nice and hot! There is a mid warm tub, a hot tub (no jets were working, took off a star, I REALLY wanted some jets) and a cold tub. The salt room was awesome. Lounging areas were so comfy! All staff was super kind. I definitely will be back!

    Bruises from the scrub.

K Spa is in a corner shopping area with a big parking lot. It was surprisingly busy on Saturday but I was able to find parking. The staff were very friendly. As soon as I entered the locker area I was greeted by one of the staff that asked me if it was my first time. She showed me where all the different areas were. The facilities were pretty clean. It was a busy day but it did not feel overcrowded. Everyone was really respectful and it was not too loud. I like that they provide some common amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hairspray, and qtips. I brought my own shower supplies and they had convenient baskets where I could place my products while I showered. They constantly brought out fresh towels as well. The towels are small so if you want a bigger towel you should bring your own. Inside the women's area they have warm bath, hot bath, cold bath, steam sauna, and dry sauna. They also have a seated and standing shower area. The scrubbing area is in the back past the pools. They have a clock so that you can keep an eye out for your appointment time. But the scrubbing women do come out and call out for your number. I got called in a little before my appointment time. They do recommend you arrive 30mins before your appointment to soak in the tubs. The body scrub was really nice and the lady was very nice. It was a relaxing scrub with a good amount of pressure so I felt that she was getting the dead skin off. They also put product on your face and hair. The hair/head massage felt really nice and the products left my hair feeling soft. They give you an envelope to tip but they also have zelle and venmo if you do not have cash. The common area is smaller than the other spas I have been to but very nice. I did enjoy the salt room. Everyone was really respectful and kept pretty quiet. There is also a kiosk where you can order from the cafe. They text you when the order is ready and you have to go back out to the front to pick up your order. They provide slippers for you to put on and then you can bring the food back to the common area. The kiosk has limited options. For more food you can go to the restaurant itself with your spa clothes. The restaurant is very small so gets busy quickly. The food is delicious though.

I came here with a group of girlfriends for my friend's birthday, and none of us had been to a Korean spa before. Honestly, it was confusing from the start. There wasn't much direction on where to go, what order to do things in, how the facilities worked, or what you were supposed to do if you booked extra services. We also came with one guy and a group of girls, so we didn't realize right away that we'd all be separated. Between that, people going off for body scrubs or massages, and everyone trying to figure it out as we went, I don't think we used the spa the way it was meant to be used at all. We ended up kind of bouncing around, asking what to do next, hanging out in the common area for a bit, and then leaving. The actual body scrub/massage add-on was fine, but overall it just felt disorganized and not very beginner-friendly. I've since seen friends go back and actually know what they're doing -- using the pools, sauna rooms, eating afterward, spending real time there -- and I can see how it could be a much better experience if you know the flow. But for a first-timer, especially with a group, I wish there had been a little more guidance.

It has a grand appearance that makes you feel like you are about to walk into a relaxing Korean spa experience. Parking was surprisingly easy and I somehow ended up with a front row spot which almost felt suspiciously lucky. Walking in though, the first thing that hits you is the amount of signage. I am not exaggerating when I say there is a lot to read. It honestly felt like I walked into the spa's constitution. Every wall has instructions, reminders, and rules. By the time you finish reading one sign there are several more waiting for you. If you forgot your glasses that day, good luck. Admission is thirty five dollars if you pay with a card, which is pretty standard for a Korean spa around here, but if you want the cheaper price you have to pay cash. Not my favorite system but it is what it is. They do take Apple Pay which was convenient. They give you a uniform and towels at the front. I grabbed an XL and normally wear a 2X or even 3X, so it worked fine for me. They also provide one large towel and a couple smaller ones which ended up being enough for the visit. The men's locker room is right there and the process is simple. You get your locker key, put your things away, and then explore the wet area. My first impression was actually positive because overall the place looked fairly clean and maintained. The cold plunge was one of the better parts of the experience. It is about four feet deep with steps that go down which makes it easier to ease into the water instead of shocking your system. It was cold enough to feel refreshing but not painfully cold. The jacuzzi is where things started getting a little disappointing. Calling it a jacuzzi almost feels generous because it is basically the size of a kiddie pool. It is technically around three feet deep but they do not fill it all the way. The only way to really submerge yourself is to sit directly on the floor, which is exactly what I ended up doing. Once you settle in it is okay and moderately hot, but if more people come in you suddenly have to shift around to make space and it gets awkward pretty quickly. The steam rooms and sauna were another confusing part of the experience. One of the steam rooms claims to be two hundred degrees but there is absolutely no way it was anywhere near that temperature. At that level you would be sweating within minutes and that definitely was not happening. It would warm up a little and then cool down again. They have two steam rooms and a sauna which sounds great on paper but the heat level did not match the expectation. Upstairs there is a relaxation area and this is where you can tell the spa put real effort into the design. There are grooming stations with hair dryers, lotion, brushes, and other basics which is nice after using the wet area. There is also a sleeping section with reclining chairs that electronically adjust into comfortable positions, which was honestly one of the highlights of the visit. Unfortunately the visit took a major turn later in the evening and that is why this review dropped to two stars. The spa closes at ten and the last check in is nine, which means people could still be entering around that time expecting to relax. However staff started cleaning the wet area while guests were still using it. I was sitting in the jacuzzi when a worker brought out a large hose and cleaning supplies and began scrubbing the floors around us. The hose stretched across the walkway which immediately created a tripping hazard in an already wet area. Then the chemical smell started. It smelled like soap mixed with bleach and the water being scrubbed from the floor began flowing toward the jacuzzi. On top of that the mist from the chemicals started getting into our eyes. There were a few other guys in the tub who noticed the same thing and I ended up telling the worker in Spanish that the soap was getting into the water. What really shocked me happened shortly after. When I came out of the steam room I saw that the drain covers had been removed and there were open trenches running through the wet area while guests were still walking around barefoot. The grates were just sitting near the showers while cleaning continued. At that point the relaxing atmosphere was completely gone. I kept thinking how easily someone could slip or get injured. Before leaving I spoke with the front desk and explained the safety concerns and they said they would note it. This spa actually has potential. The building is nice and some amenities are enjoyable, but when guests feel like an inconvenience while staff rush to clean around them the relaxing purpose of a spa disappears. I genuinely hope they improve this because with a few changes this place could easily become a solid Korean spa in Orange County.
