The guy I had literally put his entire strength on my shoulders and back and I feel like he hit every knot and I felt super nimble after. I had a lower back injury few years ago and my back feels so much better. I didn't even realize I had that much tension there but they were able to release the knots. My boyfriend and I noticed how strong they were when they were giving us our massage. Compared to some luxury spas who kinda just do the bare minimum , this place definitely released stress in my body and worked through every muscle. Though you're in a room full of other people, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. They do ask you to pay upfront. I paid $30 for the 60 min. And then after your massage you tip your masseuse. Some will ask to take off your tops and they'll provide robes and I noticed some kept their tops on. I guess it's preference? I tipped mine $20 and he looked happy. I liked how they don't chase you down for more as some other places will do. Overall I really like this place and will be going back in the near future!

Let's start with the service itself: to get an hour and a half (90 minutes) it's supposed to be $45, I was charged over $50 and I was told that this was because "deep tissue" costs more. This was NEVER the case when Mark was there and it was NEVER mentioned in any ads prior or current. That should've been my 1st red flag! Now let's get to the masseuse: his name was Kevin and he proceeded to give me the WORST deep tissue massage that I've ever had. (1) he seemed to be offended by black people- yes, I could tell from his hesitant and standoffish behavior such as him turning up his nose and rolling his eyes! (2) he DIDN'T hit ANY of the areas that were causing tension in me such as my knees and right lower back! (3) his overall technique was that of a THAI/SWEDISH massage and NOT a deep tissue. His technique was COMPLETELY OFF!!!!! (4) the worst part? He FOLLOWED me around to "ensure that he got a tip." It was so bad that even the front desk noted this and was disturbed. This was THE most disturbing interaction that I have ever had in a massage clinic and I WILL NOT BE BACK. Do yourselves a favor and got to a LEGIT massage clinic because this is NOT it. We showed up on time, and it was extremely busy. the lady checking us in was on the phone speaking to another customer while filling out out preference sheets and at the end after speaking to my husband, we think she may have accidently given our massues each others preferences because i had to tell my masusse to go lighter and he had to tell his to go harder. we paid 30 dollars for an hour and then 5 extra dollars for my husband to recieve more pressure (that he did not recieve). they guided us to a room that had 4 beds and oddly put us on opposite sides of the room with two empty beds in between us which later had new customers. the room was very stinky and humid. the towels they had us laying on and wiped us down with smelled absolutely terrible. they provided a free foot soak but put your feet in the warm water while you are laying on your back which puts you in an extrememly awkward and uncomfortable position. my husband and i both requested no face or head upon arrival and they still put lotion on our faces which we had to tell them to stop. my masusse hurt my knee so bad and continued to try to rub it after i told him not to. both is us did not recieve the focus massage we requested. we both left feeling worse and stinky than we came in. i will definitely not be oming back, worst massage ever.

This place is upstairs in the Brookhurst Hazard shopping center behind the Arco, and it was a good place especially with $20 massages! It was Vietnamese-run instead of like most of the foot massage places, where I hear Mandarin spoken. I was surprised to have a massage therapist that spoke perfect English. The massage was good, and I felt very relaxed afterwards. They had a waiting room with windows and was clean. My only beef was it was a little noisy in terms of hearing people talking. You can get a private room in the back and I imagine that would help. I would definitely come back. read more

When I arrived, I was asked to pay the full $60 upfront. I thought that was a little unusual, but I paid without making an issue of it. After my massage, I gave my massage therapist a $5 cash tip. After accepting it, she asked me if I had more to give her. I was honestly caught off guard because I've never had a service provider accept a tip and then directly ask me for more. I felt uncomfortable and didn't want to be rude, so I agreed to Zelle her another $10. The Zelle payment wasn't going through right away, so I told her that sometimes it takes a little while. I then left and went to my car. About five minutes later, the massage therapist came out to my car to tell me that she still hadn't received the additional $10. That made me extremely uncomfortable. I had already paid the full $60 price for my massage and had already voluntarily given her a $5 cash tip. I only attempted to send the additional $10 because I felt pressured after being asked for more. I understand that $5 is not a large tip on a $60 service, and customers are certainly welcome to tip 15-20% or more if they choose. However, a gratuity should be voluntary unless a mandatory gratuity or service charge is clearly disclosed beforehand. I don't think a customer should be put on the spot and asked to increase a tip they've already given, much less followed out to their car because an additional tip hasn't gone through yet. I came here hoping to relax and get some relief for my back. Instead, I left feeling pressured and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the way the tipping situation was handled overshadowed the entire experience for me, and because of that, I don't feel comfortable returning.
